The shop itself is simple and serene, decorated in neutrals with a pretty chandelier in the window. The sweet girl at the counter greeted me and explained that there are five major scents, each one based on one of the towns in the Vineyard. It was such a cute concept! I wandered around and checked out each of the fragrances. There are only a handful of products for each fragrance, plus some men's products (aftershave and a moisturizer). They also have some gorgeous pre-made gift baskets that would make a great hostess or bridal shower gift. I settled on the Tisbury fragrance, which was subtle and sweet and reminded me of the smell of fresh cut grass and the mornings spent walking to Morning Glory Farm. The Edgartown scent was a close second, with grapefruit undertones. I selected a combination package of shower gel and body lotion, which was priced at $40. They also offered body butters, a body scrub, and scented candles. The company has a website, but it won't be offering the products for purchase online until later this summer. I am absolutely thrilled I stumbled upon this shop so that I could bring a little reminder of vacation home with me!

Confirming prior terrible reviews of staging. We hired them through Angi's revitalize program…read more(through my agent) so I did not choose the team, we were matched. The staging was delayed by a week. Once the house was staged it was very obvious it did not meet the luxury listing we had: bedrooms had just a bed/nightstand only, the beds looked like boxes and had thin bedding, very sparsely furnished rooms, almost no decor and untouched kitchen area. Just very sad and lifeless design. We gave them a second attempt and although it was a bit better it still was not up to par compared to our listing price. We respectfully asked to destage. The destaging part took forever. While the team offered a third attempt at staging (which was declined), mysteriously the truck become unavailable to destage until the next week, then the end of the week, then Friday, then Friday morning and finally a 30min heads up when we are 60in away. After destaging we got a $7,500 bill and had the task of removing lots of oversized 2inch nails from our walls. I unfortunately cannot recommend working with Setting the Space. I made a similar review on Angi's list.

Guess what, couch would never come. Did we know that though? Nope! Spent almost a YEAR trying to communicate with them on when we would be getting the couch and each time of course having to call them because they never called when they said they would for their next updated delivery date. Ended up having to take this company to court which Blair the owner tried to tell the judge that he had the couch the whole time. We won the case at least and took our money elsewhere, and we will never ever step foot in one of these shop again. I've also told any person who needs furniture our story so they don't get duped either.

Even during the craziest days of summer, they will try to get a tech here if there is a problem. The unit did not work properly and in August, Crane replaced it with another unit - different manufacturer. Over the years we have had problems with the second unit. The freezer drawer was always frosting up and Crane always sent someone out to try to fix it. Early this summer it was worse than ever and I called Crane Service but was told I was no longer under warrantee. I assumed that since we did not get the replacement refrigerator until August that our warrantee ran to August. The reservice representative and her supervisor both said that was not the case. After posting a review explaining what had happened, Brenden called me and said we were still under warrantee and the service person would come out. They came out twice and ended up replacing the cooling component for the freezer. Two weeks later, I opened the freezer in the morning and everything was defrosted. I called Crane service and texted Brendan. After two hours I called Brendan and explained the freezer was not working again. We went to the Vineyard Haven shop to see if they had anything in stock that would fit in our space (our house is 160 years old). They did and it was delivered this afternoon and all we had to pay for was a new 5 year warrantee. This is a great example of REAL customer service from a family-owned company that cares about its customers and reputation. Thank you, Brendan, and don't take this the wrong way, but I hope I do not have to call you again!
