Today I was disappointed, appalled, and made deeply uncomfortable that children were permitted tickets and attendance to this show. We're talking children probably around 6 and 10 years of age. This is the second time I've seen this happen. This is a show that is mature and adult in nature. It's inappropriate to both show children and put the performers in a position where they have to choose between performing striptease for minors or refuse to perform. Personally, I will be leaving the show next time if I discover children have been admitted again and just eating the cost of the ticket. The owner must be fully aware and is allowing this situation to exist. The show itself was very good, but I can't enjoy a show under these conditions.

They are always so nice and i always look forward to going. I truly love all the pieces that the choreographers have made and they are so great at answering questions and they encourage to ask questions too! They have a pre-pro group that is amazing at dance. The drop in classes are $10 each and that is a very good price for an hour class. The classes are so much fun and they make me feel like i don't have to be perfect and know the choreography perfectly and they don't get mad if you don't know the choreography that well. I absolutely recommend taking one of their drop in classes. You dint need much experience in dance to take one either!

(Dangerous) Pros: -$10 classes -drop in style (good for dancers traveling) -studio owner is nice This studio strikes me as a rental space for upcoming choreographers that individually rent out the space to hold class. Pro Tip: warm up at home before you get there. Take 5 min at studio to squeeze in another quick stretch to avoid injury. Def have insurance. Have Venmo and cash app ready, and expect your class format to be choreography only, No warm ups/ cool downs/technique. I want to keep taking classes there but am afraid to get injured.

I had never taken a pole class like this, and I told Nyla upon leaving that if I been taking a classes like this, I WOULD BE LIGHT YEARS AHEAD IN MY POLE JOURNEY! Every part of my body was tapped for strength and balance. Something that I truly appreciated was her ability to gently point out my posture and shoulder engagement. I have some bad form I acquired in foundations I've been working to clear out and she gave me cues to correct without disrupting the class. Injury is no joke in this sport so I have so much respect for a teacher that will prioritize form over "just having fun" or "looking pretty." She was also able to modify an adv move that I could not do due to my pregnancy. Nevertheless I left sweaty and sore in all the right places! and PS I DID HAVE FUN! I would say if you are even beg/int this would be a tough class but doable if you have decent stamina and familiarity with mobility training. Addressing some of the other reviews I read after the fact: Yes, Nyla, has an attitude! But don't let that fool you. She is keenly watching and will happily clarify, correct, or modify! She is a professional that does not coddle you - after taking pole for a couple years I appreciate teachers like this that help you grow and not plateau. It's tough, you sweat, you must hydrate... but instead of all Spanish music you find in most Zumba classes, mike incorporates his background from Kenya. The music combined with Mikes personality brings so much fun (and exhaustion) out of everyone in the class!! I'll take photos next visit, likely tomorrow, as he has Zumba multiple times a week. Luckily there is a punch card to keep track of it all and allow me extra opportunities to go to this class each week!!

There are multiple options of classes that incorporate strength and cardio, yoga, heated mat Pilates and boxing (now Hyrox based class and straight lifting classes). They have expanded to 3 studios to offer all those classes, which is amazing! There's always a variety of exercises to hit the main muscles groups and the accessory muscle groups. The recovery room is super convenient to use after a class or on a rest day. Variety of class times to meet a large range of schedules. They truly value their members and community and are constantly finding ways to benefit the members even more. It can always be a little intimidating trying a new gym or class but I think they do a great job at trying to make everyone feel welcome & it's generally easy to follow along if feeling lost during a workout. The coaches bring so much energy & fun to the classes as well. Bodi is very affordable in comparison to other gyms (especially if you catch one of their sales around holidays). My only con so far is that, in my experience, the trainers haven't been very engaged with the class or offered much guidance on form. One of the things I love most about group fitness is when instructors hype up the room & shouting out members, offering motivation, or demoing the moves alongside the class instead of just in the beginning and I haven't really seen that yet. That said, the staff are all super friendly, the gym offers so much more than just strength training (which I'm excited to explore), and the playlists are a solid 10/10. If you're in Scottsdale or just want to try a new gym I highly recommend this one!
