That prescription is not part of your cost! That's all I got! After I left, I called two nearby clinics, asked for the prices for their shots, and saved myself a bunch of money. This place remains in business because of people who are ignorant. Sadly, I was one of those people. They do nit take insurance here and 2 of my shots were covered by my basic insurance plan, and I have horrible insurance! You can just look on the Internet and see what shots you need before you travel! Better yet, call your doctor! I wish I would have done that! There are a good amount of chairs on the perimeter of the waiting room, but they do fill quickly. The entrance is tucked around the corner against the wall. When you walk in, go straight to the kiosk to check-in with your photo ID and insurance card. I've seen elders struggle with the technology and the front desk will still send them back to the kiosk. If they push enough, MAYBE they'll manually check them in or assist with the kiosk. Once in the back, I've never come across a mean or unprofessional phlebotomist. I'm a hard stick and all have been great, sometimes even switching to a butterfly needle when I have a lot of samples to accrue. It's my go-to place, especially because it's near my home. As long as you know the entrance and to use the kiosk, all will flow fine. Have your order paperwork ready always! That's every location, but I've had incidents where my doctor's office said they sent it in and LabCorp wasn't able to see it on their side so better safe than sorry.

First, you have to call in to their automated phone hotline to make an appointment, and must wait for the system to slowly figure out where to schedule you-- and if you make any mistakes you have to start over. Same goes for if you have to re-schedule or cancel your appointment for any reason. Then when you arrive on the day and time of your appointment, you still have to scan both your ID and insurance cards at the self-check-in kiosk, and may have a wait time of up to 30 minutes. There is no public bathroom and seating is limited in the tiny waiting room. The way they lie about "taking walk-ins" is pretty scummy considering that's virtually impossible to get seen that way. Just make an appointment beforehand, don't even bother trying to walk in.

Even more interesting, I didn't receive my report even after 48 hours, then I wrote the Google review 1 star, next day I received a "positive report" , which proofed later in Canada twice that's actually a negative. I ended up going to and urgent care because by the time I realized about their mistake all the clinics were close. The very next day I went to the UMC clinic at Shadow Lane and they would not give me the PEP because I didn't have insurance. Then I remembered AHF and went there. They tested me, gave me access to their doctor, and the doctor prescribed me the PEP right away. Save your time and come to this place right from the beginning, I highly recommend it. All my experiences at AHF have been nothing but positive ones.
