I will happily update this review once ET Fight Academy corrects the billing issues.
My daughter and I began attending ET Fight Academy in February 2026. In accordance with their 30-day cancellation policy, I gave clear notice in April that we would be canceling at the end of May because we would not be attending over the summer. Despite this, ET Fight Academy continued charging my credit card.
When the next charge appeared in July, I began contacting them to confirm the cancellation and request a refund of the overcharges.
Over the following 30 days I called five times, left two voicemails, and spoke with Regina twice. I still have not received a refund.
In our most recent conversation, Regina was dismissive and claimed there was no cancellation on file--even though I had canceled well in advance, spoken with her previously, and left multiple messages. Weeks earlier she had told me the money would be refunded. Today she insisted no cancellation existed and even suggested I had not been charged enough for the short time we were members.
I paid roughly $650 for 14 weeks (not including the additional $99.98 charged after we stopped attending). That works out to over $180 per month as we attended for 3.5 months. We were attending one class per week--that's already a pretty steep monthly cost. I'm not sure how much more she wanted us to pay.
Instead of refunding the extra month she billed me after cancellation, she has now claimed I wasn't charged enough in the first place. I'm not sure how to speak with her considering the shifting explanations she had on this last call.
I genuinely enjoyed Igor's Cardio Kickboxing class and found it helpful for rehabbing an old knee hyperextension. I would have considered returning in the future. However, the way leadership has handled this--denying a clear cancellation, failing to issue a promised refund, and shifting blame onto the customer--has really changed my mind.
When internal records are messy, the professional response is accountability, not rudeness or attempts to overcharge the customer. read more
