We visited for a birthday party, and the staff was incredible! The tables were decorated and ready for us to party hardy. We ordered the pizza and drinks package and they brought everything out not long after we arrived. As for the actual skate rink, it's a pretty decent size there's only one way to enter and exit though. So you can imagine with our tables being right by that entry it was chaotic. Kids kept zooming on the walkway and almost hitting the little kids that couldnt skate yet. A ton of kids were cursing and swearing too. There was a referee enforcing the rules; however, when some of the kids fell because they were all holding hands he gloated and told them I TOLD YOU THAT WOULD HAPPEN. Not something I appreciated from someone who's supposed to be protecting the children. Anyway, as soon as the time slot we paid for was over the staff rushed everyone out of the building. Stephine is doing a great job she always has a positive attitude and she gets back there and does her job she definitely needs a pay raise for all of the stuff the rink has her doing she stays positive at all times and gets her job done she is one of the only reason I still go read more

When I first got there I felt like my personal skates were a bit too fast so I asked the lady at the front if they had a tool that I could tighten the nuts on my wheels with, she then told me they couldn't lend out tools (understandable) and then I asked if she could do it for me, she then said no. She was very nice about it don't get me wrong but it obviously upset me. We came back a couple hours later for the next session because I went to go get a tool to tighten up my skates, and she was very nice and I'm assuming she felt bad about the whole thing because she gave me and my boyfriend two free tickets. The second time after I figured out I still thought something was up with my skates, my boyfriend took them to the counter, where he talked to a guy who loosened up my wheels no questions asked. I thought that was kind of weird but I'm glad he did. Now to my point of what made this place so miserable. whoever the ref guy is (not sure if that's what he's called but he's wearing a striped shirt so I'm going to call him that ) he is so extremely STRICT. Like I understand that a skating rink needs to have some rules to keep the traffic going smooth and keep people from getting hurt. But oh my god. Someone would be using the wall to skate because they couldn't skate very well. "You can't be on the wall" and I witnessed him say this multiple times to beginner skaters. I was in the corner where nobody was skating, and I get told to move, mind you my legs were burning and I was just taking a breather!! anyways this place is very nice and the employees are very nice as well. But ref is taking the fun out of skating. read more

This place is greAt!! It's so awesome!! Nicole is very warm sincere and sweett she goes out of her way to mAke sure eVerybody is having fun! The two girls (not adults) but GIRLS that work there are extremely rude. I don't know who they are but they need to get talked to or fired. My kids came back home and were telling me AGAIN how they are being treated by these 2 girls... if I EVER see them talking to my kids like the way they did the other night I will not be happy. The one in the snack bar (has short whiteish hair) thinks she runs the place she's the one who yells at my children. If she does it agin I will YELL in her face. Update and response to the owner... You did not address in your response to my comment about the two GIRLS that were rude. You must be running a very bad business. I didn't think I had to stay with my 15/16 year old children and the rink. Also, where does it say that at? I understand wanting to keep the kids safe and that there are rules and my kids are very well mannered and they know how to behave. But when girls (who look their age) are yelling at my children as if they are children themselves is when it's not okay. My children said that they did not know what they were doing wrong and was never told exactly what they were doing wrong. The girls were just yelling. read more

They are some of the most uncleclean and unsanitary facilities in Lufkin.. or all of east Texas. Miserably rude employees, vending machines that don't work!!! I have been told off by rude employees every single time I've gone there and ripped off by the vending machines, only to inform them of it and be told off again! I am never going back and hope no one else does for their own sake. Buy roller skates and hop around the Lufkin land fill for a more carefree and clean playday with the kids. Seriously aweful. I don't know if it is possible to give 0 stars, but if any place deserves it, this pit deserves it read more

We recently had a birthday party there. They have updated the place! We enjoyed our time there. I actually reserved a party area for the wrong day and showed up to have the party with family from out of town. They were more than accommodating. They allowed me to have the party anyway! The rink is being improved on and it shows. Friendly staff, good food selection and good AC too.. :) I have skated there since I was 14, am now in my mid 50s. Keep up the good work. read more
