Rarely do businesses shock me. This one did. It is one of the nicest gyms I have been to…read more Seriously. It is geared both toward the free weight crowd and the weight machine crowd, has a nice quantity of cardio equipment (currently not all in use because of Covid), and includes an outdoor fitness area with ropes and strongman equipment. Currently, social distancing signs are posted and sanitizer is available throughout. The husband/wife team who own the gym are knowledgeable and friendly and I believe compete in the powerlifting arena. Personal trainers are available (for a fee of course). Pre-Covid there were aerobics classes; I don't know if those are currently in session. The gym is part of the network of gyms generally covered by insurance plans that include fitness memberships. I believe there is the option for paying a small fee to visit. The gym is open to all members Monday through Friday, but accessible to members who pay a little extra for 24/7 access (via key card). I have that membership and going on Saturday or Sunday is like having your own private gym complete with squat racks and deadlift platforms. Amazing! If you read my Yelp reviews, you know I don't usually gush. This gym merits that. Check it out.

The best gym in a 50+ mile radius. Maybe further. Plenty of room, super clean, lots of great…read moreequipment and amenities, friendly knowledgeable staff, and great members. Nothing else in Crockett, or Huntsville, even come close.

Et Fight Academy

I will happily update this review once ET Fight Academy corrects the billing issues…read more My daughter and I began attending ET Fight Academy in February 2026. In accordance with their 30-day cancellation policy, I gave clear notice in April that we would be canceling at the end of May because we would not be attending over the summer. Despite this, ET Fight Academy continued charging my credit card. When the next charge appeared in July, I began contacting them to confirm the cancellation and request a refund of the overcharges. Over the following 30 days I called five times, left two voicemails, and spoke with Regina twice. I still have not received a refund. In our most recent conversation, Regina was dismissive and claimed there was no cancellation on file--even though I had canceled well in advance, spoken with her previously, and left multiple messages. Weeks earlier she had told me the money would be refunded. Today she insisted no cancellation existed and even suggested I had not been charged enough for the short time we were members. I paid roughly $650 for 14 weeks (not including the additional $99.98 charged after we stopped attending). That works out to over $180 per month as we attended for 3.5 months. We were attending one class per week--that's already a pretty steep monthly cost. I'm not sure how much more she wanted us to pay. Instead of refunding the extra month she billed me after cancellation, she has now claimed I wasn't charged enough in the first place. I'm not sure how to speak with her considering the shifting explanations she had on this last call. I genuinely enjoyed Igor's Cardio Kickboxing class and found it helpful for rehabbing an old knee hyperextension. I would have considered returning in the future. However, the way leadership has handled this--denying a clear cancellation, failing to issue a promised refund, and shifting blame onto the customer--has really changed my mind. When internal records are messy, the professional response is accountability, not rudeness or attempts to overcharge the customer.
