For nearly a month, I called two to three times every week trying to speak with a manager before my next membership payment was due. I could not log into the app to update the credit card on file, and I specifically asked them to stop attempting to process the automatic payment until someone could help me. Despite all of those calls, I never received meaningful help or a return call. Almost a week later, after I deposited money into that account to pay bills, the membership charge was pushed through and left me in a very difficult financial situation. I called multiple times afterward and even went to the studio in person asking for help, but nothing was resolved. They also processed an additional charge of approximately $20 just a few days before the monthly membership payment was taken. My mother also prepaid more than $400 for private sessions. Her health has significantly declined, and she has Parkinson's disease along with other medical issues, so she no longer feels Pilates is a good fit for her. She called repeatedly for weeks trying to speak with someone about transferring the prepaid amount to me, either toward my unlimited membership or so I could use the private sessions. After receiving no response, I obtained the phone number for the instructor who was supposed to work with her. My mother finally explained her health concerns and asked again about transferring the sessions. She was told the matter would be looked into, but she never heard back. Another major concern is that, even with an unlimited monthly membership, members can be charged approximately $15-$25 for missing a class. I understand having a cancellation policy, and I did not have an issue with the 12-hour cancellation requirement under normal circumstances. However, illnesses do not always provide 12 hours of notice. The studio understandably tells members not to attend when they or their children are sick, but members are still financially penalized for staying home. As a single mother who drives at least 30 minutes to attend classes and who has also been traveling to MD Anderson for medical care, there were occasional mornings when either my child was sick or I was physically unable to make it. These situations were not frequent, but I often felt pressured to attend while feeling unwell because I could not afford another charge on top of the monthly membership. I was also charged twice for a pair of socks purchased at the studio. I was told I would receive a credit, but that credit was never applied. Again, the instructors and the actual classes were wonderful. My negative review is based on the billing issues, the difficulty reaching management, the lack of follow-up and the inability to get problems resolved despite repeated calls and an in-person visit. I would not recommend signing a membership agreement here if you have children, health issues or any chance that you may need flexibility. Even keeping detailed records of your calls and charges does not help much when no one follows up and the issues still are not resolved.

The best gym in a 50+ mile radius. Maybe further. Plenty of room, super clean, lots of great…read moreequipment and amenities, friendly knowledgeable staff, and great members. Nothing else in Crockett, or Huntsville, even come close.

Rarely do businesses shock me. This one did. It is one of the nicest gyms I have been to…read more Seriously. It is geared both toward the free weight crowd and the weight machine crowd, has a nice quantity of cardio equipment (currently not all in use because of Covid), and includes an outdoor fitness area with ropes and strongman equipment. Currently, social distancing signs are posted and sanitizer is available throughout. The husband/wife team who own the gym are knowledgeable and friendly and I believe compete in the powerlifting arena. Personal trainers are available (for a fee of course). Pre-Covid there were aerobics classes; I don't know if those are currently in session. The gym is part of the network of gyms generally covered by insurance plans that include fitness memberships. I believe there is the option for paying a small fee to visit. The gym is open to all members Monday through Friday, but accessible to members who pay a little extra for 24/7 access (via key card). I have that membership and going on Saturday or Sunday is like having your own private gym complete with squat racks and deadlift platforms. Amazing! If you read my Yelp reviews, you know I don't usually gush. This gym merits that. Check it out.
