He entrado ah este lugar un total de 3 veces. La tercera vez que estuve allí hice mi pedido con confianza y luego sentí que la energía en la habitación cambiaba. Comencé a escuchar a los trabajadores decir cosas, pero no asumí que se referían a mí, aunque sentí muy incómodo porque sonaba como si se estuvieran preparando para confrontar a alguien. Estoy aún más triste porque había estado recomendando este lugar a familiares y amigos. Realmente no pude comer mi pan a gusto después de que me fui ese día. The third time I was there I placed my order with confidence and then felt the energy in the room change. I started hearing the workers say things, but I didn't assume they were referring to me, although I felt very uncomfortable because it sounded like they were getting ready to confront someone. The employee then handed me my bread and proceeded to tell me that I didn't pay the last time I was there. I responded with exactly what I bought last time because it didn't match the order she said I didn't pay for. She never clarified what date this occurred. I felt very uncomfortable but was prepared to show the receipts. She simply replied, "Oh then maybe I have you confused." Didn't apologize. Honestly I will never go back. I am even more sad because I had been recommending this place to family and friends. I really couldn't eat my bread to my heart's content after I left that day. And even days later it affects me to remember how terrible they behaved. read more

If you're looking for the Valley's best panaderia, look no further. I grew up down the street from this place and since I live in Texas I relish any time I have the opportunity to get some pan dulce here. Their concha is the best around! They encourage masks inside, keep hand sanitizer at hand and over all maintain a clean environment. They're also expanding and have a couple of seats available so you can enjoy your coffee or chocolate abuelita. I highly recommend Esther's Bakery. read more

This little bakery has been in Pacoima for Decades, I remember coming here as a child with my father. They changed ownership a long time ago, but seems liie the pan dulce is still as delicious as always. I have been trying to stay away from bread, but today was a cheat day for me (Actually, Let Me Take That Back... Everyday Is A Cheat Day For Me HAHA!) Had their Empanada de crema and as I remember it, creamy and delicious. They also have some Tortas De Jamon (Ham Sandwiches) which looked delicous and YES! I grabbed one for snack today lol.
