The cashier was counting cigarette packs and I stood there about 3 minutes waiting on him to finish. It was $7.99 for the tiny bottle of Nyquil, but I needed it so I got it anyway. The cashier rang it up at almost $11. I said that was wrong, the price said $7.99. He mumbled something I couldn't understand and just looked at me. I motioned to walk back to the aisle with me, and he did, and I showed him the price. He mumbled some more. I told him to just give me the right price and I'd be good. We went back to the register--I expected him to credit me a couple of bucks. He reached me back my $10 and took the Nyquil and walked away. I stood there a minute, then motioned to the Nyquil. He mumbled something else that was obviously negative, something about "you wanted a refund." I said no, I just wanted a credit of a couple of bucks to get the advertised price. He said whatever it rings up to IS the price. I left and bought a bigger bottle of Nyquil at the Thorton's for less money, and had a much nicer cashier. It's not the buck or two... it's the attitude that drove me away. If your employees aren't empowered to make purchases right, you must not trust them very much, and if you don't trust them, you shouldn't have them working for you.

I bought garlic pickles, a brisket sandwich and coffee. I didnt eat the sandwich and pickles till the next day and they were both delicious. The restrooms were clean. Today is Thursday, and I am guessing MUCH of weekend chaos and NOISE will not be present.... If your experience with Chaos and Noise is similar, do try a weekend visit. Hopefully, now that Casey's is coming to town, Speedway will get their act together. They have all gone way down hill recently. This one has trash on the lot. Prices are crazy high. I am not a fan. The manger Kathy refused to let me purchase the cup, her excuse was she did not condone drinking and driving, I told her if I wanted to drink and drive, I would just drink it out of the can. She would not let me purchase the cup. Curious to see if this was their policy I went to the next speedway and purchased the exact same along with the cup. I purchased the exact same thing including the cup without any problem. I ask the manger if they had a policy not to sale cups with the purchase of alcoholic beverages and was told absolutely not. The speedways address is 2490 Nicholasville Road, and the manager is named Kathy. Never again will I ever return to this store, it was witnessed by several people and the manager was extremely rude!

We , My husband and I have and will continue to purchase our eye glasses from them . Again Great Prices !! We have also purchased tires for our RV from them , lowest cost in the area . My favorite items include the Wild caught seafood they offer , and all the organic fruits and veggies . I also have Their Citi Costco card that earns me point every year! last year 279$ to spent in Costco !! Free is always a blessing right ? Costco or Sam's -- I get asked that all the time - Costco !!

Fourth, the phone number for the place is now out of order for whatever reason. Maybe they've been deluged with calls about being ripped off and later insulted when seeking a refund? So unless you enjoy being insulted by subliterate clerks who won't refund the money you paid to go through a car wash that DOESN'T WORK, avoid at all costs.

Y'all have some wonderful employees but one of them has a phone addiction problem. I don't know how…read morewell they do their job running the till or stocking. It's one of the few locations that's continuously stocked so I'm not complaining about that. I don't know everyone's name but I could list who I absolutely love and who does their job very very well. There's one employee who's nice enough, but she can't be on the phone gossiping not listening at a gas station checking out customers. Everytime she's calling or texting!! She was talking on the phone this time. Thank God I didn't ask for my cigarettes and pods. I was just trying to get some ice. She never rang it up. I said it a few times because she was gossiping on the phone and then it took her a few minutes to text before she finished ringing up the person in front of me. Who had two things. I've heard other employees complaining to themselves about this girl if she would just get off her phone she'd be fine. Anywhere I've ever worked would've fired my ass in a heartbeat. I'm not saying she needs to be fired, but someone needs to hold her accountable for not doing that. Wait until you have a moment.
