The cashier was counting cigarette packs and I stood there about 3 minutes waiting on him to finish. It was $7.99 for the tiny bottle of Nyquil, but I needed it so I got it anyway. The cashier rang it up at almost $11. I said that was wrong, the price said $7.99. He mumbled something I couldn't understand and just looked at me. I motioned to walk back to the aisle with me, and he did, and I showed him the price. He mumbled some more. I told him to just give me the right price and I'd be good. We went back to the register--I expected him to credit me a couple of bucks. He reached me back my $10 and took the Nyquil and walked away. I stood there a minute, then motioned to the Nyquil. He mumbled something else that was obviously negative, something about "you wanted a refund." I said no, I just wanted a credit of a couple of bucks to get the advertised price. He said whatever it rings up to IS the price. I left and bought a bigger bottle of Nyquil at the Thorton's for less money, and had a much nicer cashier. It's not the buck or two... it's the attitude that drove me away. If your employees aren't empowered to make purchases right, you must not trust them very much, and if you don't trust them, you shouldn't have them working for you.

All the pumps were full and more than half were parked cars, keeping others from getting gas. Also, have an attendee guide people lining up for the restroom not to creat a line that goes into the opposite sex's restroom- woman in men's restroom. Food was ok. Nothing to write home about. On the corner of Tates Creek Road and Redding Road, the location is a bit difficult to manuver in and out of, but it's in a convenient locale. You can't win 'hem all people! Compared to the Thorntons locations on my side of town, the gas here is outrageously priced. What's up with that?! It's the same dang city, shouldn't all of the Thorntons be the same? I'm just weird like that, paying attention to that sort of thing. I don't use it anymore, but when I was addicted to soda, just as my dad is, I loved their rewards card. For every so many sodas that you purchase, you get a free one. They have an extra large sized fountain soda, in a styrofoam cup, that even the thirstiest of thirsties couldn't gulp down. It seriously lasted me all day long.

The coffee is expensive, but they aren't filling the machines with beans, so how are you going to sell any? I guess that's what happens when there is little to no competition. Hopefully, now that Casey's is coming to town, Speedway will get their act together. They have all gone way down hill recently. This one has trash on the lot. Prices are crazy high. I am not a fan. I still go to them ONLY because they are convenient. It's not convenient, tho, if they are always out of the items I stop for.

Y'all have some wonderful employees but one of them has a phone addiction problem. I don't know how…read morewell they do their job running the till or stocking. It's one of the few locations that's continuously stocked so I'm not complaining about that. I don't know everyone's name but I could list who I absolutely love and who does their job very very well. There's one employee who's nice enough, but she can't be on the phone gossiping not listening at a gas station checking out customers. Everytime she's calling or texting!! She was talking on the phone this time. Thank God I didn't ask for my cigarettes and pods. I was just trying to get some ice. She never rang it up. I said it a few times because she was gossiping on the phone and then it took her a few minutes to text before she finished ringing up the person in front of me. Who had two things. I've heard other employees complaining to themselves about this girl if she would just get off her phone she'd be fine. Anywhere I've ever worked would've fired my ass in a heartbeat. I'm not saying she needs to be fired, but someone needs to hold her accountable for not doing that. Wait until you have a moment.
