Danny was a perfect tutor for him! We cannot thank him enough! Our son was happy to do the work, go to the sessions and excited to learn! He really enjoyed the experience. We used Carolyn's services for my daughter who is now a freshman in college. Our entire experience…read morewith Carolyn was very positive! Besides being very knowledgeable and helpful on all the timing of forms, deadlines and good tips, she kept our daughter on track with her college essays and ACT/SAT prep, and helped her narrow down her college choices to fit her personal requirements. Because of Carolyn's help, our daughter is now in a college in North Carolina (High Point University) that she would never had considered, if it weren't for Carolyn. Our daughter is super happy at HPU, and as they say "happy kids make happy parents!" Sure, the money that a good consultant costs seems like a lot at the time, but in the scheme of a college education was absolutely worth every penny!

So far so good! My 5 year old starts kindergarten this and with everything in the world going on I…read morewas really hesitant to place him in a physical school instead of schooling him online atound my work schedule. After a lot of research I applied for collegiate and we were accepted. Before enroll jefco even notified my Megan was contacting me to guide me, answer questions, be of any assistance and set up a walk-through to check out the school. During the enrollment process she checked in and updated me frequently. At registration completion they had everything organized and the entire staff was helpful, friendly and welcoming. Another reason I was interested in this school is the class sizes, they are small allowing note attention to my childs learning with the teachers not having to focus on 16 students at a time. My son loses interest quickly if he isnt involved or doesnt feel included so I look forward to the advancements he will make with his teacher and 8-11 fellow classmates. Im grateful to be apart of this community so far and having my son in a school I feel comfortable with leaving him at during the day was my main priority. Will update my review as we get more into it.

My son attended this school for one year as an eighth grader after having moved from another state…read moreinto CO during the summer. In my opinion, it was a great fit for him after having had multiple life changes over the previous few years. (divorce, multiple moves, so on) The small class sizes here allow teachers to gain a perspective on students that a typical classroom, quite simply, probably wouldn't allow. I thoroughly appreciated the insights teachers provided during P/T conferences. They gave not only academic but social insights into my son's life that I would not have otherwise had. (Don't tell him I said that ) Having said all of that, he decided to go to elsewhere for his high school years. Whether or not it's a good decision for him remains to be seen. In any case, I would urge parents (and their students!) to consider Collegiate Academy. As parents we must help our kids decide what is best for them at a given time. The beauty of Jeffco is this ability to have options. We haven't had this option presented so cleanly to us in any other school system. Please check them out.

We hired Amy and Travis to help us with our two sons application. Our oldest has been in college…read morefor two years and our youngost has just been accepted to college. I dealt mainly with Amy and highly recomend her. She was professional from the start and followed through on every detail. I must also admit that my second son did not make life easy for her nor did he engage properly at the begining. Amy did not give up and in the end my son improved his GPA at school, committed to achieving higher scores on his ACT and underwent a transformation. Amy was part of the team that oversaw that transformation and at all times, I felt thsat she really cared for him and the outcome.

It was a gift for our daughter to have a thought partner to lens with in this process, and for us as her parents to have a sounding board if we had questions or concerns. Amy's guidance and wisdom was an essential part of this process for all of this. I would highly recommend Macy College Consulting and wish we'd had them for our older daughter's search process.

This school has not provided me any proof that they actually helped my son. They lied to me and…read morestarted my son off at a pre k level and in 8 weeks managed to work to a 2nd grade level. I asked them about the material each 2 weeks and asked what grade level it was applied to. They stated it was not applied to a grade level. However at the end of 8 weeks, $30,000 later I paid them, the director Liz tested him and told me he improved " TWO GRADE LEVELS". Having done testing on him prior to starting this program, that would have meant he went up to 7th grade and I was happy. Only until my education lawyer discovered they meant 2nd grade, and told me they did nothing for my son, to obtain a lawyer and proceed for fraud against the school. This school will ignore your questions, or issues. They will not reply to you after they think they have made their justification. They will not offer you a refund after you have proven their program didn't work. They will try to talk you into more testing done by them, and doing their academy which is $80,000 a year. This has been the most hurtful experience I have ever had with a company that claimed they could help my son, and did nothing but lie.

I've been to many different institutes of higher learning and this is the only one I've dealt with…read morethat gave me as many problems as it has. I managed to flunk out of the 2nd semester of my program which requires picking up the program in May 2026. So keep in mind this is a four month period. By the middle of it, I applied for "re enrollment" and was told that a committee would be meeting on April 23 to review my application. Turns out they had "approved" this much sooner. When I received the call I was "re-enrolled" I asked if I needed to handle any taxes or related information prior to coming in for a scheduled appointment and was told that everything would be taken care of by the meeting time. Turns out revealing my 2024 taxes had not been squared away at this point was a major obstacle and we needed to reschedule. Since then I had several telephone correspondences with the Financial Aid reps and was told various different things and suggestions. My 2025 taxes returns were mentioned as helping to get the funding I need to start. Another was that a "financial coordinator" would work out some monthly payment plan agreement. Neither of these things apparently helped my situation. Given that the 2024 taxes processing takes several weeks to months if you do a mail in (which online tax filing indicated was the only option) I wouldn't have FASFA until early July 2026. In other words despite having two months time to get back into the program and have what I needed accounted for, it took as long for me to find out what I already knew was going to happen: sorry but you should have had all these bs things done and over with, you need a co-signer we already know you don't have, tough shit. But you can wait till the beginning of the new year to start up again!

What a waste of my time!!…read more Here's the long story, in January 2025 I went in to talk about the X-ray tech training because I saw the advertisement outside the building. I talked to the advisor about the program and was told the next opening doesn't start until January 2026. I thought that's a long ways away but was told that will give me plenty of time to get ready, ok fine. A month later I had to take a test on the computer (I forgot the name of it) to get a good enough score. I got a 23 first time and then was told I should do it again so I had to come back a week later and I got a 25.I was told I got a good enough score and should be fine. A couple months later I went back in to see my advisor if I'm on the right track, at this point, I was now told the X-ray program won't start until March 11th, 2026. I thought that would've been nice to been told that sooner but whatever. So the next step was a face to face interview with the X-ray tech "head-lead" person. I had the interview on October 31, 2025 and I thought the interview went well. I was specifically told that I would know if I got in the program or not and that she would email me by the end of the first week of December, great. The end of the first week of December comes and no response, I wait another week, no response. I emailed my advisor, who in the past would get back to me in a timely matter, about whether I got in the program or not, no response!! I never heard back from this place. It's honestly so bizarre and I'm counting my blessings that I didn't just pay them $55,000. What gets me mad is the fact that I wasted a year dealing with this place and not doing something else that values my time. I knew the ratings for this place were bad, but I'm the type who still likes to see because maybe it's not as bad as people say. Well sadly it's true for me.
