I loved that everyone had to wear a life jacket for the first 10 minutes of the ride as I was initially nervous about the ride. After the 10 minutes are up, we had the option of continuing to wear the life jacket or take it off. All the instructions they gave were in both English and Spanish. One of the highlights on the way there was the whale watching. We saw a couple of them and it was so cool because it's the very end of the season, so we won't be seeing them again for a few months. Once we got the the island, we had some really good chips and guacamole. There were a few different excursion options for an additional cost. such as hiking to the waterfall, going horseback riding, or driving ATVs. Not sure what the cost for those were. We enjoyed snorkeling in the ocean and swimming in the shallow pool with a bar attached for easy access. I highly recommend this tour. We definitely got our money's worth and more!

He was respectful of the whales but followed in a way that got us good looks and great photos. Then off south to the Islands of Mismaloya where we watched Pelicans nesting and saw blue footed boobies. We went further south to explore little coves and beaches and landed at Playa Las Animas for an excellent lunch at El Coral Restaurante. Victor has a very nice boat which is clean and well maintained. There was ample shade. He is knowledgeable and has lots of good stories. We had a great day. Victor will set up what you want and you pay a reasonable hourly rate. He will take you snorkeling, fishing, surfing and probably more.

The Fat Cat has room for about 120 people but we had about 40 which was perfect for people to be able to walk around, get a drink with no line, and have some breathing room. I thought it would just be something like breakfast pastries, open bar, lunch, and everyone can get in the water, but the experience was so much more than that. Getting on board, my wife & I got on board last and everyone already had a drink to toast to us, we saw whales in the first 30 minutes up close, got a detailed explanation of whales and their communication patterns, and throughout the whole trip the crew had spontaneous activities that are better left to be discovered as a surprise. The Crew made the trip! They had so much energy, enthusiasm, and attentiveness to everyone on board. Everyone had a drink pretty much at all times, and we had a solid hour plus in the water. Food was great and if you're celebrating something other than a wedding, I'm sure the crew will sprinkle in more fitting activities to go with the event in mind. Can't recommend this place enough (worth every peso)

You arrive at the port at 8:30 then head to a snorkel spot, finally arriving at the beach at noon. One tip- my husband and 7-year old went on the zip lining tour and it is really more of an obstacle/ adventure course where good shoes are preferable (they had flip flops on!). They found it challenging but they did it! I'd suggest bringing water or climbing shoes, and maybe skip it if you aren't up for a hike. Ater a few hours at the beach and an authentic mexican lunch where waiters brought us drinks constantly no matter where we were, we headed back to port. I worked with Elme to book the reservation and he was always timely with email responses. When we met him on the morning of our trip he had two other members of his team with us and all of them were so personable and friendly. We set sail early and as we were on our way out to sea, we got our first catch. I had never fished before and Elme and his crew were incredibly kind and helpful with teaching me what to do. There are very few times when I felt the adrenaline that I did with catching my first fish. My boyfriend has been on many fishing charters and he had nothing but great things to say as well. I got sea sick and Elme was kind and patient. We were extremely successful on our trip as we caught a total of seven Dorado. At the end of our trip, Elme recommended Rocio's to us to take our fish and have them cook it for us to eat. We got it ceviche and grilled with garlic. Oh. My. Gosh. Was that amazing. The chef did an amazing job and our fish was prepped to perfection. There was something so incredibly satisfying to eat the fish that you caught.

With the boat tours they tell you exactly when to show up. The computers have all your details and if there's a problem or if you have questions, they help you and are very professional about it. Your ticket is clear- which boat number and trip you're on. They make announcements ahead of time and it's in an orderly fashion. Once on the boat, it's party time. They have different styles of boats depending on your trip but they all are clean and operated by professionals. I'm saying this a lot because when safety matters, you want to know that people are trained for their jobs. We had a highly skilled captain, very entertaining and informative tour guide and many helpful deckhands. We snorkeled (clean equipment), bird watched, saw many whales, sea turtles and went to a secluded beach. All food and drinks provided were tasty and abundant. We arrived back at port safely and highly enjoyed our excursion. If we had more time, we would have done more.

My girlfriend's dolphin's name was Shany, she was a 30 year old female. The trainers we had were absolutely AMAZING!!! For an additional $30 we were also able to book a swim with the sea lions. The entire staff was extremely helpful and thoughtful. We had such a great experience with the dolphin swim that before we left we booked our next adventure to Rhythms of the Night. This was yet another fantastic experience. The boat ride there and back were both a complete blast. Dinner on the island was more than we expected. The show itself blew us away. We will definitely be booking with them when we return to Puerto Vallarta!
