Jason is a great mechanic and a person. One word describes Esteem Auto -- Quality. Thank you Yelp. I found him here. I took my 100K mile Range Rover there -- where other shops told me to rebuild a transmission (VERY EXPENSIVE) -- he resolved my RR "hesitating" with a TUNE-UP. Just as he suspected. 1) he is a Master mechanic and does the work himself - not someone else, 2) he is meticulous in inspection and diagnosis before starting the work, 3) he is transparent about the issue, pricing, and alternatives and communicates every step with photos/text, 4) for some minor issues, he told me monitoring it is sufficient, 5) his rate is good are more than fair for the quality of his work. I highly recommend his shop without hesitation and referring him to my friends. read more

I submitted a 05 BMW 328i with lost of issues - i almost sold the car but i was reassured the work that would go into it would make the car last a little longer - honestly it did - The work was great and never had to go back to have him fix it again due to error or not fixing it right the first time. highly recommended and trustworthy shop read more

5 stars - Jason, the owner is courteous and professional. I decided I didn't want to spend money on service items I don't really need that are always recommended at the dealerships. Jason gave my vehicle a full inspection and only provided the services I needed. Jason seems very sincere and trustworthy. I would recommend him to anyone needing an auto mechanic for Japanese or European vehicles. read more

Dropped off my car because my subwoofers in my bmw's B&O audio system is not working. Jason troubleshot my car directly eventhough I came there when they were just about to close. It took about almost an hour for the troubleshooting and explanations from him. That's a very good service because he doesnt even complain that it was past the business ho!!! Turns out it needed new battery because it's not supplying enough energy to the system. I ordered the battery from him and it's gonna be installed in a few days. Recommended! UPDATE: Picked up my car this afternoon. He diagnosed the problem correctly. After changing the battery, the subwoofers works again. He even update all my module software to a newer version. And the last but not least, he sent my car to a hand car wash before I picked it up FOR FREE!! Very happy with the result. Definitely will come back again. Thanks Jason read more

You don't get what you pay for for auto service, that's common sense. However, this place, Jason, he gives you the best quality and info about your vehicle for sure. There's no second place to get this kind of service!! Five stars are not enough!!

This is an updated review for Jason, the best mechanic that I've ever met. It's been 5 months, and I've done an oil change, brake rotors/pads replacement, charcoal cabin filter replacement with him. He has also identified issues that I had when I had brought my car into the dealership's repair shop, including headlight wire harness recall (wire's not shrinked properly), engine filter housing had a screw stripped where the dealer was careless when screwing back in (he fixed it so a screw and nut can be put in again), coolant leakage via thermostat housing (which was also done by the dealer), and identified the exact location of the timing chain cover oil leakage (replacing the tensioner timing chain cover which was only a $200+ repair as opposed to the dealer's $3,000 assessment of opening up the engine and replacing the timing chain). He is the most honest mechanic and is really on the customer side. He explains it in great detail and is super patient in answering all questions, making complicated things simple. Even for basic maintenance, I will keep coming to him. Trust in the quality of a mechanic is really hard to find and he truly is top notch. If you are looking for a mechanic, look no further than Jason! read more

I've taken my BMW 530i to local BMW "specialist" for maintenance, parts, etc. They never told me any possible problems with my vehicle. Jason, the real-realest BMW SPECIALIST educated me issues and problems my vehicle could possibly have in the future. By that I mean, the battery I had in my vehicle could eventually fry my electronics, why my engine fan wouldn't turn off, etc. He even gave me a list of the codes on what is wrong with the car. No other place (besides the dealer) ever gave me a list. I like the fact Jason, explained everything and showed me how to properly take car of my car. You can tell he loves what he does and it shows. I was very satisfied with his work. I gave him full trust and went beyond my expectations! If you have a BMW, this place is literally certified and is trained to work, and repair your vehicle. Highly recommend. 5 stars read more

This is my favorite auto repair or maintenance service shop which provides the reliable and trustworthy services. The owner and master technician, Jason Lee is very knowledgeable and experienced to give you honest diagnosis of your car status, he will access not only what is required urgent repair but also tell you what areas need to pay attention in future and what is wearing out but not urgent to repair yet. I have been dealer service shop, the advisor always has sales promotions pressure to list many services but never tell me what is urgent or routine service and time frame to do those additional services. Satisfied customer: Dickson Yuen. I highly recommend Esteem Auto Service for BMW or all other cars for your auto services needs. read more

Esteem auto service... Where do I begin??? Seriously haha. On the real though, I've found the first reliable mechanic cause this place is absolutely phenomenal!!! Had taken my car to be worked on by the auto mechanics a few suites down(6/16/17), when I stepped outside for a phone call. That's when I noticed Esteem Auto Service and decided to see what the place is all about. I made a quick reference to our trusty YELP service to see what I was getting into. Let me tell you... there was not a single disappointment. Jason Lee & Esteem Auto are the REAL DEAL as far as everything you could want with an auto shop/mechanic. They provide you with top notch dealer service FOR A FRACTION OF THE COST! With 10+ years of being a master mechanic for BMW under his belt, this man has all the tools necessary to service ANY VEHICLE. Not only does experience come into play: Jason is extremely professional, ridiculously courteous, exceptionally knowledgeable in his craft, treats your car as if it were his own, and most importantly for a mechanic, he is absolutely trustworthy. 9/10 mechanics that I've been to will not allow you to observe them while they perform repairs on your vehicle. THIS IS NOT AN ISSUE WITH ESTEEM AUTO. Not only will Jason work on your vehicle while you watch, he goes a step further by explaining what is wrong and showing you the parts that need repair. He doesn't belittle you or make you feel dumb when explaining these issues either. As others have stated, he specializes in high end luxury cars, but is DEFINITELY certified to work on any vehicle & his prices are certainly fair. Bottom Line: You will be hard pressed to find an auto mechanic shop that will treat YOU & YOUR CAR as well as Jason Lee & Esteem Auto Services will! Your car will thank you in the long run... read more

Jason is very nice guy, very hard working, detail oriented and he loves trouble shooting the issues. Very good service told me how to fix and didn't even change me. Very knowledgeable and understanding about my situation.

I have knowEsteem Auto Service for a couple of years and every contact with them just makes me like them more. Jason, the owner, is great. I have been out of town and had to visit a Toyota dealer. The result was a faulty repair with multiple returns (and $$). In desperation I called Jason and he correctly diagnosed the problem from a couple of pictures. I was able to get the work done and back on the road. Jason KNOWS cars, is honest and honorable. I can't recommend him enough. If you have spent your life mistrusting car repair shops, that ENDS at Esteem. read more

Jason is a great guy with deep knowledge and understanding of specifically BMW brand but also in general. He is very thorough, gives you good advice and recommendations that can save you a lot of money in repairs with great, clean and friendly service, all for an Attractive Price, much better than a dealership. He does not try to rip you off like other branded auto service centers. If you are in the area, he is the technician to go to. read more

First time customer and I am very pleased with the service! I came in for a oil change on my 2008 TOYOTA YARIS and got a full inspection for free! Jason showed me things he found during inspection that I was completely unaware of and he found them in no time! This man is a professional mechanic. Don't be fooled into thinking he only knows BMW Lexus or other luxury vehicles. He knew exactly what was going on with my Toyota. He goes the extra length to help. I couldn't ask for more from a oil change. I am very very pleased. read more

Jason is a very thorough and honest technician who won't try to overcharge you for low quality service. I would definitely recommend him for any car services if you care about quality work! He is ASE certified and he used to work at BMW. I like how detailed he is at explaining my car problems. He also tried to help me save money by telling me where I should get my car parts. I don't know much about cars but I am extremely picky and suspicious of many car mechanics due to bad car problems with various mechanics in the past. So far, i can honestly say I trust him with my car. He took the time to explain every single detail just so everything is clear and on paper. You can't go wrong with someone who is passionate about cars and won't try to make money off from you. Very very reasonable prices and quality work!!! read more

I actually handed Jason a very big project because I was dumb enough to buy a used BMW without getting inspected before hand. Soon after I received the car, the engine light came on! When I first came to Jason's shop, I got this very clean and professional vibe. Jason is very friendly, extremely knowledgable, very detailed and thorough. He took the time to not only explain every single issue with the car (oh there were so many issues, basically beside the engine and transmission, everything else needs to be repaired in some way), but also show the details in photo and video. He prices are very reasonable as well compare to dealers and you actually get dealer qualify service, or even better! I will recommend anyone who love their car to consider Jason next time you are looking for a great mechanic; whether it is for car issue or maintenance! read more

Extremely Knowledgeable in his craft and very professional. Jason explains every detail very concisely. 5.0 star rating 3/8/2017 I'm very picky about who works on my BMW 335i. I met Jason last year & he remembered why I stopped by. As my vehicle is out of the maintenance/service period I wanted a GOOD independent shop. Spoke to Jason on Monday & we set up a time for Wed. We discussed what I needed & he ASKED for my service records. Awesome!! He quoted me a price & the work was done timely & he's VERY fair; plus he's knowledgeable. Can't ask for more!! read more

I've been going to the Lexus dealer directly for many years to service my RX 350 for regular oil changes and other issues. However that was starting to really add up and cost too much. I'm so glad I found this new auto shop that specializes in high end cars. Jason was able to service my car for a lot cheaper than the dealership. There have been several lights that turn on notifying me on my dash board but I've just been ignoring it. I don't want to take it to Lexus because it will cost too much. Jason was able to run the diagnostic to see what my car needed service on. Thanks so much! read more

BMW is truly a fun car to drive, but the maintenance is pain in the ass, especially the car over 5 years old, when it's out of warranty, and certainly can not rely on dealer no more. Then I found Jason, the guy full of passion & knowledge about European car especially BMW. who had worked in Palm Springs BMW dealer for near 10 years. He can give you the most reasonable honest suggestion, How do you spend your money wisely but your lovable car will also be appreciated his masterful diagnosis and of course replaced with genius BMW original parts. I've been getting services in the area for years. I think Jason is trying to stay 20% cheaper than those other European auto shop. Bottom line, I won't have 2nd thought to bring my car to Jason. I know I won't be tricked, and I know my baby will be in good hand. Thank you Jason for the wonderful services!! read more

I came to Esteem Auto Service for an oil change today and had a wonderful experience. Jason specializes in BMW repair and is a certified master technician at the local BMW dealership. The service was outstanding and Jason is a true professional. BMW vehicles require the more expensive synthetic engine oil (as opposed to natural oil), and Jason was very transparent with the breakdown of the material and labor costs. All in all, the oil change combined with a free full inspection of the vehicle came out to around $100, which is a very fair price for the quality of service. read more

I've been here couple times for my BMW 5 series for routine maintenance and troubleshooting. Jason was the one who took care of me. He is a friendly guy who is very knowledgeable about BMWs and his craft. He made recommendations based on what the car really needs without.
