Calle del Príncipe de Vergara is a major north/south thoroughfare in Madrid. It meets up with Calle de Alcalá at the northwest corner of the Retiro park, which is where the Estación de Príncipe de Vergara is located. Sure, you can use the Retiro station but this one may be closer for you.
The station is not handicapped accessible (at this time, but it is under construction) with an escalator only. There is some seating on the platform.
Príncipe de Vergara is on Line 2 between Goya (toward Las Rosas) and Retiro (toward Cuatro Caminos). It is on Line 9 between Núñez de Balboa (toward Paco de Lucía) and Ibiza (toward Arganda del Rey).
