This is the ultimate gas station (on the southside that is)! I was passing by one night and saw the…read moresign "Open 24 hours now"- that's a good start. I decided to try it, even though my usual gas station of choice would be Shell. I like how they have new pumps which are entirely blue. It is a nice change from the usual red or black color you see at other gas stations. There are 12 pumps, so a lot of people can be accomodated. I was also impressed that their car wash was also open 24 hours. Few car washes in the city are open for this period of time, granted the temperatures are reasonable. What I was most impressed with was their drive-thru Tim Horton's...also open 24 hours! Sure you can go to the one across the street, but it's very convenient since you're already there. I realize this location will not stay 'new' forever, however there are a lot of convenient services located at one location, making it one of the best Esso's I have been to in the city.

You don't even need to be a Co-op member. Nice. The attached convenience store is clean and well-organized. The touchless carwash is slightly better than average for the same or slightly cheaper price than an older style ($7.99 for a basic wash with 30L gas purchase - that's up a buck since last year). I like that there's a water blaster at the start to get the heavy soil off the tires, rocker panels and bumpers. The surround dryer while not great is still better than the older drive-thru timed centre-hung ones.

The car wash is really good too - expect long lines unless you go late at night or early in the morning. Staff is friendly and welcoming every single time.

I was not able to fill up my rental car. I thought it was my card that isn't accepted but no. An employee even used his Costco card but it didn't work. You can even cash back if you use your Costco Credit Card. You do need a membership card in order to purchase gas here, however. How could they improve? Most Domo Stations are exactly the same. Small staff hut. Gas pumps. Outdoor merchandise. The differentiating factor is the staff. I stop at this one a lot, and the one on Gateway Blvd. Both have great staff that seem to stick around for a long time. I assume they have a good boss and good working conditions. They have always been cheery and pleasant. That keeps me coming back.

I haven't filled up gas here since last August. Apparently, Superstore sold all their gas stations…read moreback in April. It is now called Mobil @ Superstore and obviously they do not give out Superbuck rewards anymore. On the other hand, you can use the PC Optimum card to collect points now. Everything else remains the same, just the name of the gas station has changed. I guess I need to get my PC Optimum card soon.

Who doesn't love a Costco Gas station? This one is conveniently located right beside my house, so…read moreit's obviously my favourite one ;) What I love best about it is that even though it's right off the highway, the line ups are never insane like the south side location. Even if you do have to line up, you're usually no more than 3rd in the line. If you're not familiar with the joy that is the Costco Gas Station, there are some rules you MUST follow. First of all, there is only one direction. You can't come in the exit and pull up to a pump.... we all come in from the same way. Also, they have extra long hoses, so if you need to pull up to the wrong pump (on the wrong side of your vehicle) it will definitely stretch far enough and NOT have to pull across the roof of your car and scratch it. And finally, don't pop your hood and try to check your oil. Oh and don't try to wash your windows. This is not a service station, it's a gas station. End of story.
