    They came and gave me an estimate during a heat wave in Stockton. Got my ac up and running in 20 minutes. Prices was reasonable

Jesus came to give me a quote for HVAC replacement. But when he looked at the failed unit, he told me I may fix it for you and he did!. What a surprise, :) he saved me thousands of dollars. He even didn't want to charge me for anything but when I insist, he just charged me for a simple diagnosis service. He could have charged me for a full HVAC replacement! but he fixed it!. :) Their Yelp five star is a real FIVE. These guys are super honest which might be rare in these days!. Highly recommended company. I will go for them next time for sure.

Customer…read moreservice said "we've never heard of phone consultation " so I had to send them a screenshot for proof. I had to let tech come earlier but felt slow on task- only found switch not working. Felt it was Appropriate pricing for diagnosing our house fan = $79. I Was told they have to check if the kind of switch we have is available. Then gave me an estimate of $395 to change the "faulty switch" for quietcool. But $79 diagnostic fee go towards the $395. Thankfully, I got a 2nd opinion from a coworker's husband who is an electrician and researched some more online about the estimate. TOO STEEP! The switch is only $35-50 in home depot. I understand we all need to make a living but dayyyyyym.

We selected C&R because their bid was comparable to the others and friends had recommended them. The install went smoothly and Brian and crew did an excellent job. Unfortunately the unit I wanted wasn't available locally so the dealer offered up the Hi2 hyper heat model. If you're ever offered one - don't take it but that's a story for a Mitsubishi review. Luke the lead technician from Clarke and Rush went above and beyond (not a term I use often) to try to correct something that as it turns out was inherent to that machine. The willingness to expend labor hours and materials to gain a satisfied customer was exceptional. When C&R say they want a happy customer it's not talk it's action because they mean it.

They used to do hvac repairs by troubleshooting. My a/c wouldn't come on so they replaced a relay switch which didn't fix the problem at a charge of $300. I was told my system was old and maybe I should consider replacing the system. I explained that I couldn't afford a new system and the tech explained the perils of recurring failures and suggested making payments as a possible solution. I asked for an estimate to repair and was quoted $4,000 to replace two circuit boards and a fan. I investigated the cost of parts quoted and discovered the parts were marked up nearly 400% more than I could buy them on my own. This company now appears to guessing which parts are failing and not actually diagnosing the error codes. I feel they are not interested in repairing my older (30yr) system but prefer a new install instead. Be aware if your system is older they want to sell you a new one!
