My AC went on the fritz yesterday, which was forecasted to be 105 deg by mid afternoon. (Isn't that when this always happens?) Reached Fusion Heating and Cooling in early am, b4 other HVAC repair shops had even opened. Spoke to Armin, who said he had 2 other jobs scheduled, but would come out to look at mine. Turned out the blower motor was shot. Armin promised to call me with an estimate after the parts store opened at 9am. True to his word, Armin called me at 9:10, said he would try to fix it today, and quoted me a fair price. The job was completed before the temp really heated up. It's been working great since the repair, and today the temp is again over 100 degrees. Armin even called here this am to find out if it was working properly. Fusion Heating and Cooling provided great installation and service on my new heat pump water heater. The gross cost was high at almost $8K, but I knew I was eligible for a $2K federal income tax credit. What I didn't know was that Fusion could also apply for a rebate of $3,100 from the State of California, which it was required to forward to me when it was paid. I was skeptical of the rebate. But I apparently was wrong. After waiting about nine months and thinking I probably would not get the rebate, Fusion sent a check to me in late August 2025 for the $3,100. Fusion was right! As a result, the net cost of my new heat pump water heater was less than $3,000. Since it is electric and highly efficient, and my old water heater was gas-powered, I saved about 3/4 on my monthly natural gas bill, and with my solar panels, I still do not pay anything monthly under the NEM1 payment arrangement. This was a substantial savings resulting from increased efficiency in energy consumption and conservation. I recommend Fusion highly. read more
