I've been an Espy Hair customer for about 7 years now; and I absolutely love the HAIR. I feel the service I get from Shira and the quality of the hair is exceptional. I stopped using relaxers/perms, so I like the fact that Shira is able to customize the hair extensions to match the EXACT texture of my natural hair. Whether my hair is wet or flat-ironed, I don't have to worry that people will find out that I have hair extensions. For example, I bought a lace-front wig from Espy Hair once for a photo shoot. There was a high-profile celebrity makeup artist and stylist working on me for the shoot. They all gasped with surprise at the end of the shoot when I took the wig off. They were blown away to see how the hair, the scalp and the little side baby hairs on the edges all looked so natural whether I had to wear it up or down!!! Another hint or validation that makes me know that Espy Hair is a very high quality brand is the reaction I get whenever I have a new or different hairdresser for my sew-in hair weaves. They ALWAYS asked me where I got my hair extensions from, because they noticed the texture and quality is great. Mind you,... my hairdressers very opinionated and are not cheap! So, to get that kind of reaction from professional hairdressers who are used to seeing all kinds of hair extensions, helps reassure me that I have invested my money to a good brand of hair. There have been a couple of times when I needed to order customized hair or coloring very last minute, and I like the quick shipment Espy Hair has been able to provide. In addition, all the women/friends that I've referred to Espy Hair have always had positive things to say about the service that they've received as well. read more

What can I not say about ESPY Hair? One of the best and only hair boutiques I frequent for quality and service. The hair selection is DIVINE, the staff is SUPERB, and the area is SWANK. Nestled in the cutest part of Beverly Hills without being to "How you doin"-Wendy Williams would love this hair boutique. That is what I'm calling it; a unique boutique to visit, buy LUXURIOUS hair and get informed by an AWESOME staff. My 1st experience with ESPY Hair is one that I will never forget. Walking in the front door -warmly greeted and given helpful information, secured a return visit. The 2nd trip I went with a friend of mine who also purchased hair. I brought my mother the next week and before you know it I was telling all that asked " this is the only place I trust for quality hair." 16 inches Natural body is one of my looks and I've received nothing but compliments. The hair does not shed or tangle and has the softest texture. If your looking for length, fullness, a new change or simply want to "show stop"-look no further. In the words of Willy Wonka, ESPY Hair is a "GOLDEN TICKET!" read more

I purchased hair from Shira a number of times. The quality of the Indian hair I bought is by far the best in town. Shira is always very helpful. When she had her shop on Robertson she took the time to explain the different quality and types of hair she had, she even showed me how the hair looked when it comes from her supplier. I still have Indian hair from her from about 5 years ago, that i used for clip-ins and they are still in excellent condition. The customer service is great and not only will Shira help you with your selection, if you need someone to install the hair for you, she can refer you to some of the best stylist around. I have many friends that wear Indian hair that they've purchased from other popular places and their new hair can't even compete with the old hair that i have from Espy. I plan to purchase more hair and i just don't trust buying from anyone else. I just hope that Espy has the hair that I need when I'm ready to install new hair for the summer! read more

I've been a loyal customer of ESPY since 2006. I've always received excellent service and both Shira and Larry have shown me they have the patience of saints whether I was making a purchase; coming in for a fitting; dropping by without an appointment to try on virtually every wig in the shop and leave without making a single purchase; or asking Shira to dye my wig to match the "perfect" color I was dying to have, returning a month later to have the color adjusted, or changing my mind altogether and asking her to change the wig back to its original color. Shira has always been great about informing me when she's busy or expects to be travelling and has always returned my calls and emails within a reasonable time given her schedule. I work in the industry but I am not a celebrity and I do not spend thousands of dollars to garner or attract special attention. I'm just very clear about what I want and Shira and ESPY consistently deliver! read more

I got a 18" wig from Espy in February. I was referred by Larry Sims who is a celebrity hairstylist in LA. When I went to their office there was a famous RB singer there. I won't say her name but I have always admired her look so I was thrilled that she was shopping at Espy too. The owner was very patient and attentive with me despite having a celeb in the house. It took about a week to customize the wig for me. It had to be resized and colored and thinned out a little. I looooove it! I was looking for an alternative to wearing a weave and my wig is perfect. The hair is a loose wavy texture and has layers. It doesn't have any tracks so I can feel my own hair and it blows in the wind. I've had wigs before but this is on another level. I don't know about their wefted hair but I get compliments on my hair (it's a wig!) all the time. read more

I have been going to Espy hair since it opened and I have always been treated with the utmost respect and the highest level of service. Shira has been extremely helpful from the beginning, and if I had any issues she'd see to it that they were handled in a professional manner. Ever since I have purchased hair from Espy, I have never went elsewhere. The hair has lasted me for over 5 years and the only reason why I purchase more is because I want more length. Shira also provides excellent hair restoration services. I can bring my hair in and she will recondition it and re-weft the hair just like it was brand new. The hair is a bit expensive but worth every penny because it has lasted for many years. It is always a pleasure recommending her hair products to others. Thank you Shira for such outstanding service. read more

ESPY hair~ On March 3, 2010 and on other occasion's, I had the pleasure of doing business with (Shira) owner of ESPY hair. Yes, there are so many places to purchase natural human hair. However, believe me when I say the prices are great....the hair quality will exceed your expectation. I drive from San Diego to Beverly Hills to enjoy the entire experience. Even though it could be easily shipped FedEx directly to my residence :-) In this day and age good customer service is often difficult to find. The vast selection of merchandise is fabulous! The decor of ESPY hair will have you thinking your in a chic Beverly Hills Boutique. Thank you for your commitment to good customer service. Rest assured that your integrity has secured my confidence and future business. Dee...from San Diego, CA read more

I am sorry to hear the horrible reviews. I have to disagree with them. I bought hair from Shira in 2010 before I went off to college the hair was theeeeeeeeeeeeeeee best quality hair I have bought. Shira was sweet and very helpful even offered to dye my hair because I wanted it a lighter brown. I would and have reccommended other to Shira and they were just as satisfied as I was. I will soon in the next month be making a purchase with Shira because the quality of the hair is worth it. Since then I bout hair recently from another popular hair seller and it was horrible like I went to the beauty supply and bought packaged hair yuck. Waste of my money. I will only purchase from Shira. read more

I've been a customer of ESPY Hair since Jan 2009. The staff is amAziNg. They are always very friendly and professional. I'm a very picky person, so I appreciate it that they are always patient and helpful in getting my hair customized to the texture and highlights I like. First I bought 18" curly India hair,...I just luv LUV lUv how soft and non frizzy my hair always looked. I recently decided to leave my nature hair out, but add a few extensions for length. The staff was able to make customize hair clips for 14" Relaxed textured hair for me. I'm always traveling, so I like it that their hair is good and low maintenance while I'm on the road. read more

Shira and her team at Espy went way above and beyond to meet my needs. I came in looking for several different wigs to emulate various celebrities for a film I was shooting... Mind you, this is no crumby, Halloween wig-shop off Hollywood Blvd. They literally died, cut, and styled several beautiful, real human-hair wigs to my exact specifications. They looked more like the celebrities than the celebrities themselves! I realize I am a special case-- I had specific needs the majority of their clientele does not necessarily share, but I am a great example that there is truly no limit as to what they can and/or are willing to do! read more

If you haven't visited Espy Hair you don't know what you are missing! I discovered Espy by researching hair extension on the internet. I found it interesting that a place that sold hair extensions, gave healthy hair tips on their website. But let make it clear that I was not an "extension wearer", I just wanted to do something extra for a party. After the service I received, along with the personalized advice (including length and coloring), I continue to be loyal. I love their 18" relax texture! For anyone who wears extensions, or is just curious, Espy Hair is the place to try for a different type of extension experience. read more

ESPY is Beverly Hills best kept secret. Located near the corner of Robertson and Wilshire, ESPY is the place to go for luxurious, high quality hair products and stand-out customer service. If you visit the store you'll find the customer care provided by Shira and her team is exemplary. The store is beautifully maintained, the staff are uber-professional and the product range is extensive. Even better, ESPY provides a bespoke service that allows you purchase product that is customized to your needs. I've referred my friends to ESPY Hair products time and time again and they love it as much as I do. read more

Things I love..... a nice bottle of wine, and great hair extensions. Since moving to LA, I have discovered the "art" of extensions and I have to admit, it is really fun to have versitility with my hairstyles. I found this place when I was shopping on Robertson, and the owner was there the day I came in. She was really nice, and she walked me through the extension process - as I was a newby to the whole weave thing at that time - and even referred me to a salon. Great experience in the store, and I am surprised she was able to match my highlighted hair so perfectly! read more

Four years ago I was introduced to Espy hair through a friend. During that time I had many health concerns including a thyroid problem. Unfortunately, my hair began to thin drastically and became brittle. I felt overwhelmed until Espy solved my problems . Still, today they continue to give me impeccable customer service and private customization. This store has an amazing variety of colors, textures, and lengths for everyone. Espy hair offers every woman confidence in her crowning glory. B. Babbitt babbitt@botwpublishing.com read more

I was curious about this boutique after I read the previous review, and decided to visit. I was surprised by the selection of hair extension that they had, and the high quality. I am blonde, and sometimes it is difficult to find the perfect color extension to match my own hair. The owner of the salon personally dyed my extensions so that they matched my hair perfectly. I love my new extensions, and the personal service I received here. read more

I am so glad I found Espy Hair. I have worn weaves for the last year, but I have always taken them out early because I was not happy with the quality of hair I bought. I was referred to Espy by a stylist, and I have been a loyal customer ever since. The hair quality is better than any that I have purchased thus far, and I can keep a weave in for months at a time, and the hair remains soft and shiny. I definitely recommend Espy. read more

I have been wearing weaves on and off over the years and this is by far the best human hair I have ever purchased/worn. I have tried the naturally wavy and most recently the perm straight (which I have fallen in love with!). I have received so many compliments on the hair and the fact that it looks so natural. The quality is excellent and worth every penny! read more

I like to switch things up every now an again with extensions, and the hair at Espy blends right into my natural hair. When I see friends I haven't seen in a while, they always think I have just grown my hair out and no one thinks I have extensions. I usually order my hair from them online, and I have had no problem with receiving my orders. read more

Espy Hair, Yeah! I buy it online because I live in Illinois. I find the hair to be superior quality. Believe me I've tried many others in the past and this hair is the best. It's the most manageable, and natural hair ever. I have it washed by my stylist and re-weaved, I'm talkin major savings here. It always looks great. read more
