Sat for an hour just to have my blood drawn that took 1 minute. I took my study book to study some material just due to a wait maybe, but gosh it was SO COLD I COULD NOT CONCENTRATE OR STAY AWOKE. I couldn't go outside, because I would risk losing my spot in line. The front staff lady was so nice and pleasing, she let me step out for 5 minutes but the back office was dismissive and was at a party with friends rather than work. I will never come back to this location.

By the time I finished leaving my sample, I only had to wait maybe 4-5 minutes. I was called back by a young man named Evan. He was incredibly friendly, and when he needed to ask me questions regarding my medical conditions, he came closer to respect my privacy (in regards to the other people around us). I gave him a head's up that, historically, I've been a difficult stick; but that I'd been drinking a LOT of water! He found a vein at the first spot he checked, and he nailed it (painlessly!!) on the first time!! He took his time and answered all of my questions regarding my tests. They DEFINITELY need to hang onto Evan; he's worth 2-3 regular employees, at least from my post experiences!!

After enduring her rudeness for about 10 mins, we'd had enough. The overall experience was so bad that we ended up leaving and going to the Flower Mound location. Not only the cost of my test was less than the Denton location, the Phlebotomist there was amazing. Instead of getting your lab done at the Denton location, try out Flower Mound location instead. Extremely disappointing and disrespectful experience…read more I would strongly caution other parents about this clinic based on my experience. I want to make it clear that the two female nurses who cared for my child were wonderful. They were kind, respectful, compassionate, and professional, and I genuinely appreciate the way they treated both me and my child. Unfortunately, my experience with the gentleman nurse who took over the shift was completely different. Rogelio was extremely rude, dismissive, and disrespectful toward me as a parent. I made a decision regarding a specific procedure for my child and clearly communicated that I did not consent to it. Rather than respectfully listening to my concerns and having a professional conversation with me, he became visibly frustrated and belittling toward my choices. I felt as though my concerns about my own child's health were being dismissed simply because I did not agree with him. There is a huge difference between educating a parent about a medical recommendation and making that parent feel talked down to or disrespected for having questions and making a decision. What made the situation even more frustrating was that his attitude changed only after I contacted my mother-in-law, who is a PA, and asked her to speak with him. Once another medical professional was involved in the conversation, his demeanor suddenly became much more respectful and cooperative. That honestly made the entire situation even more disappointing. I should not have needed to call another healthcare professional for my concerns to be taken seriously. Parents should feel comfortable advocating for their children without being belittled, intimidated, or treated as though their opinions don't matter. I was advocating for my child, and I expected to be treated with basic respect. I am grateful for the two female nurses who were genuinely kind and professional, but unfortunately, the experience with Rogelio completely overshadowed the positive care we received from them. I will not be returning my family to this clinic. I sincerely hope management takes this complaint seriously and addresses how parents are spoken to and treated when they have questions or make decisions regarding their child's care. No parent should have to feel disrespected or intimidated for advocating for their own child.
