I recommend Yvon for a professional and reliable lip blush service. Booking is on her website but you can send her a DM on her IG if you have any questions beforehand. I sent her photos and discussed my concerns about my lip discoloration; she reassured me that she could help me achieve my lip goals. You are given an email with pre care instructions (such as lip exfoliating beforehand and avoiding potential blood thinning agents like Advil ) and you also have to sign an agreement before the appointment. My first session was a neutralization due to the darkness and a hyperpigmentation / acne scar on my upper lip. You bring your desired lip colors so she knows your ideal look - you can choose the more natural or make up look (more pigmented). I had a student observing during the session which I didn't mind. I found her studio to be clean and professional. Overall tattoo/ PMU experience was tolerable for me (there is numbing cream and she asks if the pressure is okay while she's working). My 2nd session - I was able to deposit in the color I had wanted. She can see how I healed as well and where the lips did/didn't take in as color. This was a much shorter session in under 2 hours. After each session I was given after care instructions such as using the A&D ointment, aquaphor, avoid peeing the scabs etc. She also gave me a timeline guide of how the lips will change over the weeks until it's fully healed. I am soooooo glad that I got my lips tattooed by Yvon! I always wanted to have one lip shade without constantly applying lipstick/gloss. Yvon was able to create a natural shade for me which compliments my skin tone and it just looks perfect! I was nervous before the process since it was something new for me. Yvon did an incredible job on my lips last year, and they still look beautiful. She was kind enough to accommodate me the very next day since I didn't follow the pre-care. What I appreciate the most was the transparency. She was very upfront I may need two sessions of lip neutralizations. I am of south asian descent and my biggest insecurity was hyperpigmented lips. I am getting older (50) & realize my lips aren't as full as they used to be. Time for me is more precious than gold so I have mostly foregone makeup lately. Honestly I was super nervous and worried right after I got it done because my lips got sooo swollen that they looked like sausages. I'm also anemic so the bleeding didn't really stop until 48 hours, but it wasn't really bleeding that badly. Only when I would dab my lips with a napkin, I would see blotches of blood. After the first two days, the swelling went down drastically and my lips started peeling. I can see the color that it'll eventually turn and I'm sooo in love. Yvon's color matching is on point and the pigment definitely shows. If you can handle the swelling and have a few days to rest then it is really worth it. 10/10 am recommending to my girlfriends and even some of my guy friends who want to darken their lips. read more
