BEWARE Okay…read more.. looking at her feedback... those that left positive feedback are part of Cheri's networking group. FALSE positives. Zap Payrolls mistakes have cost my business $$$$. They used the wrong EIN number for my filings. Tried to file electronically failed 2x. They didn't find out why it had failed - they sent in a paper filing and called it done. January comes Around and I ask about a letter with penalty and fees... again, I gave Cheri the chance to remedy the situation. She said it was fine and fixed... October- November comes around and EDD cleans out my checking account 2x. My CPA is working on my account... I didn't even know who or why my account was being hijacked. My CPA started inquiring. We had no idea. Can you imagine the shock and stress related to having your business checking account cleaned out and frozen?? When my CPA found out that it was EDD. Did her due diligence and found the error that Zap payroll Made. Cheri was cold and unapologetic. She refused to pay the small fees for my CPA OR the $150 that the bank assessed for legal fees to let EDD put my account on hold. My company hired her for less than a year. The mistakes were numerous. They have an offsite answering Sevice and they are extremely difficult to get a hold of. The answering service doesn't know anything about the business and very rude. Emails have an automatic reply and getting help or being able to talk to a live person... or get an email reply that isn't automated takes days and numerous attempts. It's now been over a year since engaging her company and I continue to have stress and an enormous amount of anxiety related to my dealings with Cheri. I would never trust Cheri or Zap Payroll. EVER!
