Give you good wood one year then short you the next. 1st year nice dry wood and pieces which burnt a long time. Lasted the entire winter and still had some leftover in spring. 2nd year same price plus a gas fee for inflation and burnt through the wood in 2 weekends. I contacted Cody about delivery of 1 cord of oak firewood - I appreciated finding all his prices on his website. He responded quickly, and set up a day for delivery. The guys who came out were friendly and HARD working. They mentioned having had an accident recently, so instead of backing down to the back of the house, they made multiple trips with a couple wheelbarrows (in the sleet/snow)! The price seemed a little high at first versus my normal random FB guys, but when I considered that I actually got all oak, they delivered and stacked the wood, and I actually got the amount of wood that I ordered, it was a good price! This is my second year buying firewood from Cody. Hands-down the best wood I have ever purchased. All well-seasoned oak, no scraps. Looks great and burns steadily and cleanly. I need pieces less than 12" for my Morso stove and made the mistake of buying smaller wood on "special" from another source recommended by a local fireplace store. Big mistake. I then contacted Cody, who agreed to cut a regular fireplace cord in half for me at a very reasonable price. I think the attached picture says it all. I loved everything about my experience with Espeseth Firewood. I love that the website is completely upfront with the pricing for the different quantities and types of firewood. I selected a half cord of oak firewood and had exactly that delivered yesterday by two lovely, sweet gentlemen who were kind enough to stack it all on the back porch of my condo. I've had some shady dealings with firewood folks before, but I have to say they delivered exactly what I ordered and in the full quantity too, with none of that shady cross stacking nonsense either. It's my second year getting wood from Cody. It is as advertised and he delivers dry, well cut oak. This is the best wood for my fireplace as it has been split nice and thin...as far as firewood goes. burns complete and nice and hot. Others may give you larger pieces, which is fine for larger fire pits, but the finer splits are really the best for an indoor fireplace. Doing business with Cody is the right thing to do. read more
