Yesterday I went on a Sedona/Jerome/Minghus tour. I use the term tour lightly. It was simply a ride to those places. Renting a vehicle could have saved me alot of money. Here is a list of problems I experienced. SAFETY: The vehicle had no side view mirrors. The driver did not know the route and, while driving, spent much time looking at her cell phone for direction. Her eyes were not on the road at all times. Many times the driver found herself driving on the side of the road, over gravel...and lane markers. The driver took a personal phone call, and did not answer the call hands free. We could hear her clearly handling an unrelated business issue. Driver drank alcohol while in Jerome. Not much, but still, I found this inappropriate. On Mingus, driver drove 40-45 around some curves. Most traffic signs posted a 20 mph speed limit. A person on the tour made it clear that she was diabetic. The driver told her to bring a protein bar with her next time, refusing to stop so she could have something to eat. THE TOUR: I use that term very loosely. We were given no information on the places we visited. The driver, can't call her a tour guide, simply took votes and went with majority rules. There was no cohesiveness. The driver, for instance, made no suggestion of good places to eat, nor did she keep the group together. Any person new to Sedona did not really see Sedona. This writer was not new to Sedona. Tourists were told beforehand that they could avail themselves of taking a tour there with a Sedona tour company, but driver left no time for this. I have been on tours with this company before and most likely I will go again. They use different drivers. If they are smart they will keep their vehicles up to code and let go of this driver, friend or not. STAY SAFE! read more

We recently went on a San Diego, California tour. It was terrible! The bus was way too small for the group we had. We were all very uncomfortable. The hotel was run down and in a bad neighborhood. Since all the terrible views here on Yelp, this company has changed its name to Tours for You, LLC, but it is still awful. A group of us from a Meet Up group called Solo Seniors made the mistake of booking a tour to Laughlin for December 9 to 11, 2018. Nothing was as promised! The hotel was old and dirty. The casino buffets were all closed. Et cetera. I filed a complaint with the BBB and if you go on the BBB site even now months later they report 'Especially 4 U Tours' as being closed and 'Tours for You, LLC still is rated as a B+ and no mention is made that they are basically the same company! read more

I booked group of 20 seniors on November 15, 2015 to travel to the price is right March 8-9, 2016. 4 days prior to our trip I found out ( by accident) our roomed were changed from the Knights Inn to the Holiday Lodge on 3 rd St in Los Angeles. I looked it up and found it was a dirty motel , called tour company and told them we would not stay there. (Look it up). They gave me the presidents cell number ( Sandy Lozier) and I called at least 5 times. She refused to return my calls. When bus picked us up it was dirty, seats would not recline, air vents missing, and driver rude & argumentive. We told him we were unhappy about room change and he said it wasn't his problem. Several stops were made ( we were not advised about) and it took over an hour to get out of Phoenix. We got to motel & refused to stay there. Mildew on walls & on closets, Filthy carpet, linoleum In bath curled up and mildew. Bathtub filthy. Driver told us our alternative was to sleep in bus. After arguing with the 32 people in the group he found us another motel. Bus got stuck going up hill to hotel check in desk so we had to home up with our own bags. Next day after price is right we left at 6 pm ( scheduled for 5:15pm) and were told we would be home by 1:30 or 2:00am on March 10. We got home @ 6:30am. We never got a tour of Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre or any points of interest we were promised. Driver drove irrationally crossing into other lanes and texting etc. he was sick with cough & cold entire trip and appeared to doze off at times. Hard to find a place to start. We booked a bus tour to San Diego for the 4th of July. We had a group traveling together we were to receive "packets"(ended up being a poorly written two page itinerary) which the names on the envelopes and addresses were all mixed up. We should have know then it was not going to go well!!!!! Day one we leave Sun City,AZ(6:45 am) to Apache Junction,AZ,to Paradise Valley, AZ which means we headed east to go west!!! Very poor directions for a tour company. We were to arrive in San Diego be able to clean up, then the bus would take us to Sea Port Village for the evening, knowing that if the driver was up he may bring us back to the hotel, if not we were on our own. Well due to our major detour to Apache Junction and Paradise Valley we never made it to San Diego until 5pm. By the time the Guide figured out were the bus was to park and hand out room keys, it was 6pm. Now the walk from the bus to find the rooms, no directions offered. Well as you may have guessed by now no ride to Sea Port Village!!! Day two we were to have breakfast included in the cost. We were told it was to be a full breakfast, and we found a poor continental breakfast. Bus rides to the preset attractions went well. Bus once again was to be parked out in back of hotel upon return and the Guide instructed us to call the bell desk for a cart ride to our rooms. Sure would have been nice if she stepped up and played guide an arranged the carts for us. After our dinner cruise we had to wait an hour and half standing at the port waiting for the bus to return (majority of the group were senior citizens). There was no area to sit and no restrooms available. Day three we were promised a better breakfast than the day before, NOPE!! Our guide once again did nothing!!! Bus loaded and off we went on the last adventure. We headed to Coronado Island, as we pulled up to the hotel to unload the bus would not fit under the canopy. Dear Tour Company do your research!!!!! Poor bus driver had to back the bus out after following the guides instruction to go there. Tour company made no plans for drop off and pick up locations, the driver did his best to guess. Well we made it home and will never be traveling with Especially 4 U Tour again.They lack organization and communication, tell you thinks you want to hear and do not follow through. read more

I wish I had checked before booking a Price Is Right tour for my sister and I. Other reviews that talk about bait and switch are right on the money. The Saturday before our scheduled Tuesday tour we FINALLY got the name of our hotel. After reading trip advisor and Google reviews about the dangerous location, we opted to cancel rather than potentially risk our lives. They have still never replied to me, so I'm writing it off as a scam lesson ed learned, at considerable cost. Avoid this company completely and warn others wanting to go TOPIC from the valley! I booked a tour with these people months in advance and found out 7 days later that I could not go. What they don't tell you when you book is that THEY DON'T REFUND YOUR MONEY! They tell you AFTER they hit your credit card, in a package they mail to you what their refund policy is. I just returned from a tour with this company and I would not recommend them to anyone. It was the most horrible trip. 12 people stuffed into a van, seat belts did not work, A/C didn't work in the back of the van, driver did not know where she was going and depended on her friend in the front seat for navigation. Horrible, horrible company. We were told we would have a bus with plenty of room and were crammed in so tight we could not move and then to have seat belts that did not work was so frightening. The "Death Valley Deluxe Trip" (Feb. 28 - March 3, 2017) put together by Especially 4-U Tours was the WORST vacation my husband and I have ever experienced. It was characterized by poor planning, confusion, and a total lack of knowledge about Death Valley National Park and park regulations. The worst occurred on March 2, when we departed from our hotel and headed to Death Valley National Park. Our tour guide informed us that he had just found out that several of the sites we had planned to visit were closed due to mudslides. [Information regarding road closures was easily available on the National Parks website (nps.gov) and could have been easily accessed a few days before the tour, so that a full plan of alternate sites could have been formulated. WHY was this not done?] Our tour guide decided on the spot that we would visit other sites, and proceeded to direct the driver of our 55-passenger tour bus to go to Dante's View. After some unnerving hairpin turns, we arrived at the site and, indeed, the view was incredible. We took photos, and returned to the bus. There, all of the passengers waited, and waited, and waited for our tour guide and bus driver to return to the bus. After 40 minutes I learned that park rangers had fined our tour guide and bus driver, because Dante's View only allowed vehicles up to 25' in length, and our tour bus was over 40' long. Our tour guide knew nothing about this size restriction. (Later, I was able to learn about vehicle length restrictions online after about 10 minutes of searching.) We had to wait while other rangers were summoned to close the road down below to drivers heading up to the site, so that the road would be safe enough for our size bus to descend. NOTE: The National Park Service has specific guidelines for commercial bus tours (again, these guidelines are easily available online, in their "Step-On Guide Service" publication). In order to receive a Commercial Use Authorization to conduct tours in Death Valley National Park, the guidelines state that "the guide must be familiar with Park regulations regarding vehicle length restriction, bus parking and passenger loading and unloading." Pleading ignorance of vehicle length restrictions is unacceptable. This is a commercial for-profit operation, responsible for the safe transportation of their paying clientele. Due diligence would have prevented potentially putting passengers at risk. In addition to the delay caused when we visited the first site, we also found out that many of the alternative sites our tour guide had chosen would be inaccessible to us because of vehicle length restrictions at those sites. So we had very few options open to us. When we visited Zabriskie Point, our bus driver had to park far away, because of bus size, making it near impossible for most of our group to be able to walk up to the hill where we could view anything worthwhile. This stop basically became a bathroom break. We spent about 30 minutes at the Furnace Creek Visitor Center. When we pulled into the Badwater site, our tour guide stated that because of time restrictions, we could only spend 10-15 minutes there. My husband would have liked to be able to walk out onto the flats, so that he could look back and take a photo of the cliffs, but the time restriction made this impossible. Although earlier our tour guide had mentioned that our last stop would be at the famous dunes, we never stopped there, but instead headed out to Vegas. When I asked him why he skipped this stop, he said that the driver was only allowed a certain amount of time per day to drive, and we were running too late to stop at the dunes (he never had announced that we would have to skip this). So, our "Death Valley Deluxe Trip" basically ended up being a drive to just one decent site, Dante's View (which legally we shouldn't have even been allowed to access). And while we were driving through Death Valley National Park, our tour guide knew nothing about the park's history, geology, etc. Every time I asked a question, he did not have an answer. It was his first time in Death Valley. Apparently he did not even bone up on some simple background information he could have shared with us. This brief tour was to celebrate our upcoming 45-year wedding anniversary -- we had never been to Death Valley and hoped to create some lasting memories -- well, we now have lasting memories, just not the ones we had hoped for. Traveler beware! This company is unprofessional and worthless! I took a trip with them to The Price Is Right and it was absolutely the WORST! Sandy Lozier, the owner sold us a bill of goods and what we got was a lesson in "Bait And Switch!" E4U did not give us specifics on pickup time and location until less then 24 hours before our departure and then it changed multiple times. There was NO "tour guide" as promised. We did not stay at the advertised motel. Instead we were registered at a dumpy Super 8 in an undesirable neighborhood without decent dining options. E4U does not own any vehicles. Instead they sub contract to a transportation company with filthy vehicles in various states of disrepair. We did not ride in a "motor coach" as advertised, but a dirty van that the driver said was "it's last trip." Lucky us. When our room had one bed instead of the requested two beds we had to pay the difference ourselves because the person who drove the van said, "I'm just the driver. I'm not paying." Phone calls to Sandy went unanswered. I've read reputable news stories of E4U customers totally missing their taping of TPIR or being left behind. Don't do it. Just don't do it. If I could zero stars I would! Run, don't walk to a reputable tour company! read more

Horrible company. They cancelled a trip and other times I got my refund in just over 30 days. This time I had to fight to get my refund. Their policy is 30 days for a refund when they cancel. They cancelled and it took me well over 60 days to get a refund and that was only after I called and called asking about it. I called my salesperson and she told me she is no longer associated with them. She was the 3rd. salesperson that I have worked with over the past year. For them to lose that many sales people in the past year tells me that something is not right. They have cancelled over half of the trips I have booked with them and the one that did go went by van and not a bus. They didn't bother to tell me ahead of time so I could cancel. When I complained to the guide she told me that if I cancelled because it was a van and not a bus I would not get a refund. Don't use them read more

Great company whom to do business. They offer some fine tours, and go to some unique, interesting locations all within a days' travel of the Metro Phoenix area - and some incredible prices to boot. Don't take my word for it - go to their website and see what and where you can travel, sometimes for up to 3 days for less than $100. Amazing! read more

This is less than a 1 star rating. E4U should be ashamed of yourselves acting like you are the best tour company with over 30 years of business. My husband arranged the Price Is Right tour as a surprise for my big birthday and it was a very very sad birthday trip. Contracting out to so called motor coach companies without even checking them out is shameful on your part. Switching hotels on us last minute to a flea bag inn in a very bad neighborhood just to probably make more money for you is very shameful. Providing us with a tour company that has unsafe filthy vehicles without A/C and non working seatbelts, no room at all for luggage and crams us all in is shameful. You are the tour company and you are responsible to check these places out. A driver that states, I am only the driver, without a promised tour guide is shameful. Only providing drive by's of places of interest instead of drop offs to sights that were promised and never got to and no dinner on our own at a tourist area as promised is shameful and then having to find a place at the unsafe hotel in an area we wouldn't even walk 1 block for is very shameful. The absolute worst part of this whole trip is not even getting the tickets or get our tour group on a list at the Price Is Right. We were treated as general wait in line people!!! Driver Brandy just dropped off at the gate and told just tell them who you are. We were not on the Price Is Right list at all. You people are disgusting!!!!! We were promised 1 night lodging at the Quality Inn/Burbank, did not happen, we were promised breakfast included, wise up that comes from the hotel and that was not even worked out with our early departure,motor coach, transportation, that did not happen, we were promised Price Is Right show tickets, that did not happen. The flyer you sent with the receipt after payment, was nothing we received at all!!! The motor coach company did not get the proper pick up places for the passengers and we end up getting a phone call asking where we are when we are waiting at the place that was on our receipt all along.And the so called transport company gave us a flyer during our journey that was also totally wrong . No one from E4U ever returned e mails or phone calls. When we finally did talk to you Sandy, you said, it is sold out and you will have a marvelous time and you would contact us before. NEVER HAPPENED!!! Never any call backs or e mails throughout the entire time from October until December 8. My husband had to try to call you the day before several times to confirm everything and then you gave him the drivers phone number to call to confirm. Isn't that your job?And then she had us down at a totally different pick up area. And again as the driver said, she is only the driver not the tour guide. Is that how a travel agent works, FOR THE CUSTOMER? When we finally met up with the motor transport van, we were just ready to cry when we saw what we were in for. 8 people crammed no place for luggage in the back of the van, all had to cram their bags where they could with no legroom , unsafe vehicle, flea bag hotel, no promised tour and no Price is Right tickets. Believe me there is much more to say, but I think I got to the point. I don't care about all your disclaimers that you must have taken lots of time to create. So don't bother writing back about your disclaimer claims and things happen and can change! BULL! There are no excuses for what you have done here. You should have staff trained and organization in all you do to make every trip pleasurable for every customer! NO excuse for anything!You have taken our hard earned money!!! Lots of things must have happened between you and customers to write lengthy disclaimers all over everything you provide. That is a sure sign of a very sad operation. Bottom line is you are a sorry company that should not be in business and I feel bad for anyone out there that is planning anything with these people. 4/10/16 to 4/14/16 Utah grand staircase. horrible. beyond horrible. 12national and state parks . I went because I wanted to see canyon lands, national bridges national monument, and valley of the gods. day one ...the tour guides wife kept saying she is so sick of traveling, didn't want to be there. heard that many times. he should quit this job. went to hover dam not on trip sheet.. tom the driver wanted to see that I think. cause he and his wife both went to look at it. then went through a town called chloride, same thing he wanted to look at it. then on to valley of fire. leaving valley of fire encountered a roaring wash. car stopped on both sides. he waited and then decided to roar right through it. I have pictures of the wash. day 2 zion park, he and his wife had no interest in it, so the group jumped on the trams with me and I took them through the park. I sat in the front sit with him the rest of the day and told him what was what. day 3 went to Bryce canyon, I love it . sat in front seat again and had to tell him what to do. day 4 all that was listed on the tour did not see. canyon lands... oh where not going there. national bridges drove fast right past it ,him yelling i'm running out of gas , and his wife yelling look it up on the internet. REALLY. and valley of the gods got to the front and he said ,i'm not driving in there. day 5 day from hell. went to painted desert we all went in got maps and guides, and I said are we driving the 3 miles to see it and his wife yells oh another 6 miles... then we get to winslow and he wanted to stop at la pasada hotel because he wanted to see it. hour took 1 hour there and then got back on the I 40 going 20 miles the wrong way and losing another hour. are hwy 81 was only 1 block east of la pasada hotel, but by day 3 I was all done telling him where to go . that was just some of the stuff about this trip. I called sun city, and asked them that I thought they use to use this company . they said they did but stopped because they had to many problems. really bad tour and guide...he was no guide....plus he couldn't hear!!!! read more
