After some poking around here on Yelp last week for an LMT I came across Jennifer. read the reviews and was hopeful I had found someone who could help. as luck would have it Jennifer was absolutely perfect. got to the place her studio is located and found my way to the waiting room. Jennifer came down and took me upstairs to her spacious studio and I was instantly at ease. we then talked about what I was experiencing and she had me do some stretches to gauge what I needed. so not the typical "where does it hurt? OK face down I'll be right back". She listened, poked around, and worked on all the right spots. this is the first time in a month my wrist does not ache! Jennifer is good at what she does and I am grateful such talented people exist.

After making the appointment online, I sent a message asking if I could change it from 60 to 90 minutes. I was surprised and delighted to get a "yes" response from Jennifer only a minute later. This was my first visit to Massage by Brocx and only my second time getting a professional massage. Jennifer took the time to find out all the areas where I needed help and asked follow up questions to make sure she really understood. Being only my second massage, Jennifer did a great job communicating throughout the massage and made me feel really comfortable. She had an intuitive sense of where I needed more pressure and when to back off. The office environment is very quiet and relaxing which added to my overall experience. The thing I appreciated most was that she listened to me but then applied her skill and training to work not just the specific areas I mentioned but also all the places I needed but didn't even know it. I wish I could afford to go more, but overall it is a great value for the money and the skill being offered.

By the way, I need to mention how nicely appointed the decor is right as you are greeted at the door! I filled out the one page questionnaire, asked a few questions for clarity, and she was very kind and helpful. The room is totally private and set with a quiet, relaxing situation. The massage table was heated and very plush feeling. Ursula was very Profesional in all manners of the massage, and the end result was a total feeling of comfort and relaxation. Plus I went in with back pain, and came out with much less to almost none at all. Another bonus, is that she speaks German, and English/of course! I suggest you come see Ursula yourself, and find out for yourself!

So I waited longer than needed in the parking lot. The paperwork sets very clear boundaries about expectations on your behavior prior to coming to the office and once you get there, i.e. wash your hands. But no where does it state a $1.50 fee for using your flexible spending account charge card to pay. And neither did the therapist mention to me there is a fee to use a credit card. This type of behavior does not build trust. The therapist was not very attentive and did not check in with me to see how I was doing at all while I was getting my treatment. I saw him twice and decided not to see him again. That whole place gave me a weird not friendly customer service vibe. More like a hurry up and get out of here vibe.
