The seamstress Garine was kind and helpful, but another employee Zina was so incredibly rude. She came off very kind in the beginning but she is a very hostile woman who made the entire experience a very sad one for me and it's still on my mind. When I went to pick up my dress, she called me and immediately accused me of being "disrespectful" for not doing all my alterations with them--something that was never stated to me as a clear policy. In person, she continued to speak to me harshly and said I wasted their time and what I did was not acceptable. She said it so many times and so aggressively I started to cry, and only then she felt bad for being so ridiculously harsh. I even offered to apologize to her seamstress who she claims I was wasting her time, to which she then told told me "it's not a big deal" To make it worse, I was quoted $50 but charged $75 with no clear explanation. I did not want to further argue so I paid what was asked. I went in to pick up my wedding dress, an experience every girl wants to remember for the rest of their lives and left feeling upset and honestly in tears. No customer should be treated this way. Would not recommend doing business with someone like her.

Having said that though, my experience was the complete opposite, keeping in mind that I did not get anything altered or ordered anything. What I purchased was this beautiful back up dress for my daughter's baptism. It was simple and elegant but most importantly the quality was what I was looking for. The sales lady that helped me was Celine. She was amicable. Not pushy. Understood what I wanted. She found the dress that I wanted and even paired it with some cute shoes. She has a good eye for pairing items in my opinion. I had went to a different location and the lady was selling me an off white pair of shoes with an ultra white dress. Hate when the sales person disregard details like that as if they are minor. However, with Celine I felt she knew and was not trying to sell me something simply because I was there. The ease of our conversation, her manner of servicing was awesome. I was expecting to buy a 2nd back-up dress but I did. Mine you she offered great service despite knowing that I had already purchased a dress. She didn't ignore me and pass me off as a "looky look". I think it paid off. On the day of the appointment, I hadn't received any confirmation, so I called to double-check. I spoke with Wendy, who informed me that the appointment was only scheduled for one person instead of two and that they didn't have the staff available to accommodate the appointment. When I explained that I had clearly made the appointment in person for two people, she questioned when the appointment was made, despite me reiterating that I had booked it directly in the shop with both of my daughters present. She then mentioned she had another appointment scheduled at 4:00/4:30 and that the appointment is about one hour, and would not be able to accommodate one appointment, said she would call me back after reviewing the information. Wendy did call back, apologized, and confirmed that no additional staff were available to assist with our original request--essentially canceling our full appointment. I was very disappointed by the lack of professionalism and organization. Considering this shop requires appointments to try on dresses, it's frustrating that they mishandled ours so carelessly. This experience left us feeling let down during what should have been an exciting and special time.

Many of the other tailors I visited worked out of small or makeshift home studios, but Connie's space was open and airy, with a large mirror and a platform that truly makes you feel like a princess when you step up to see how the dress is coming together on your body. Shayma even remembered me from my past visits, which meant so much. It felt so special to come back and show her my wedding dresses -- like a full-circle moment.
