Way to take care of your customers!!!Only because you can't give less. I have never gone there yet that the loading zone isn't parked full of vehicles that sit there for 30 minutes to an hour. I have address it with store manager he got so mad the other day he announced if you don't move them we will have them towed. No one came and he didn't follow through. Every Sunday most isles are blocked with gates to bring in more supplies trouble is most days no one's doing it. Most employees run if they see you loading heavy boards instead of doing their jobs. And rarely is there checkouts open usually long lines who think your there for their convince. Here's a surprise without customer's they don't need staff that don't want to work. Cashiers stand around talking instead of stocking. I have talk to several other contractors who are starting to go to other places apparently HD don't care. And their prices are higher than most other places now along with regularly being out of supplies for weeks on some lumbe A store director owes it not to give attitude but to fix the issue. I was having…read moretrouble with my well water tank, the water coming through my pipes to house was light brown and the pipe running to my reservoir tank was leaking. I was told by a plumber that is not license to work on wells to tell me that my tank bladder could be busted, being that he wasn't licensed to work on water well issues recommend walls well service. Up on this company's arrival, ( the son of the owner) to me that it was more than likely that the tank reservoir had a buster bladder. So he put in a new tank and wired the tank, when he rewired the tank and with no success with the new tank working, he then said it was probably the water pump had gone bad. ( keep in mind that pump was working fine prior to walls arriving) so I asked what would this cost, he said he wasn't sure because he didn't do the billing. So @ this point he said he would have to pull the pump to check the wiring and to see if it was a bad pump. He then stated that they charge 100.00 for service call and 100.00 per hour. So they pull the pump and said it was bad, ( even though it was working fine prior to their arrival) He stated that they would have to replace all the pvc pipe running from the pump or they would not warranty/Guarantee their work. After replacing with a new water tank and new pump and new pvc water pipe, it still did not work. I was outside watching and listening and keep the bees away because they were afraid of black bees, the conversation between the two employees was that he had wired the tank up wrong. That being said! I was billed 1700.00 for the first invoice, Then Week later I received a second invoice for 800.00 that they forgot to bill in the first invoice, up on viewing the two invoices. They charge me for a new tank, pump, 600 Ft of pvc pipe and countless of other items that I wasn't sure if it was items they used or not. They did charge 100.00 service call and what they said was 6hrs of work @ 100.00 per hour. I also got charged 130.00 for them using their host on their service truck, also got charged for items such as 3 roll of electric black tape and three fuses , they kept shooting the fuses because it was wired wrong too start with. I contacted the owner and his response was , at least everything is new now! What started out as a water reservoir replacement turned into a 2700.00 mistake on the sons/employee fault. It seems as if it was deliberately done too make more money. If you decide to use this unprofessional company, just make sure you get a quote. Not sure if this is a true honest company.

Everyone is helpful, friendly and courteous. The young men who work there are always respectful. They were all obviously raised right. Just like you'd expect from a small town hardware store. Kenneth has been the standout. I've purchased a couple of Stihl power tools and Kenneth went out of his way to get them registered with the manufacturer for me. He's always friendly and helpful whenever I have an issue with them. He's beyond patient. He never makes me feel foolish even when I bring in a tool after I've done something lame brained. He's an excellent teacher. He's very good with explaining things. I can't think of anywhere else I'd rather go than Guthrie's here in Chapel Hill. The service is outstanding.
