Now we have been with ECS for 3 years and our family loves this school. The staff is absolutely wonderful with the children and we couldn't wish for a better school. Every aspect of this school has been superb from teachers to volunteers and staff. The school does a wonderful job hosting activities and functions for the whole family to enjoy and feel welcome and part of the ECS family. Since deciding to join this school, my family has also joined the Escondido Christian Church family and we have been accepted and loved with open arms. We are so grateful that God has introduced us to the ECS/ECC family and couldn't be happier here. If you're looking for a Christ based education and a clean, safe school with wonderful and friendly staff and families, ECS is it!

The amount if bias and clear favoritism is disgusting. The principal is a cowardly individual who stands on sand and is easily swayed by his flesh and lack of accountability for himself and those whom he is supposed to oversee! A Sign on the Lawn Does Not Make a School Christian If you are looking for an institution that truly fosters spiritual growth, biblical integrity, and a genuine environment for born-again believers, look elsewhere. The most concerning aspect of Escondido Christian School is the staggering gap between its branding and its reality. The blatant carnality allowed to persist within the culture--from the peer interactions to the general atmosphere--reveals a profound lack of any true, active Christian influence. There is zero evidence of a robust, scriptural foundation guiding the daily life of this institution. Frankly, the only thing "Christian" about this school is the name printed on the sign in front of the building. If you are a parent who is truly born again, striving to raise your children according to God's word, and seeking to align your family with His will, heed the warning. Do not be fooled by the marketing. If you want to protect your children's spiritual well-being, stay far away from this pit of destruction.

Our daughter genuinely loves going to school each day, which speaks volumes. The teachers are truly exceptional; caring, attentive, and deeply invested in each child. Every faculty and staff member knows my daughter by name and goes above and beyond to ensure we feel informed, supported, and connected. Communication is excellent through the school app, with frequent updates, photos, and videos that give us real insight into her day. The school community is warm, thoughtful, and incredibly welcoming. As someone who works in education, I can confidently say that the quality of care, communication, and intentionality at this school stands out. We are beyond grateful to have found such a strong, nurturing foundation for our daughter and highly recommend Montessori School of San Marcos to any family considering it.

Our son attended this school from 6 months old until he graduated pre-k. All the teachers there are amazing. He learned so much and he loved going. We were so sad when he graduated but alas, it is all part of growing up. Ms Tasha and Ms Nupur prepared him so well for kindergarten that he feels like it is too easy but it did make it an easier transition. Can't say enough good things about the school. Highly recommend!!

Lincoln Elementary on Broadway in Escondido is sadly but not surprisingly a terrible school to send…read moreyour child. It's dirty looking with outdated buildings, without a parking lot for parents or visitors. My wife and I had issues with the second grade teacher Ms. J. She would scream at the children and make fun of my daughter's face because of the way she rose her hand (she said she thought my daughter had a medical condition) how condescending. When brought to the principal who looks just like Pitbull he didn't think it was enough to switch to a different teacher because my daughter would not speak up. My daughter was terribly afraid of that teacher and did not want to suffer any consequences from her. We decided it was not a place to get a proper education at it's minimum and enrolled at a private school. They did not respect our daughter's feelings. Also it feels like you're in downtown L.A. with allowing cars with loud music and loud bass to drive through there. I mean how horrible is that?!! It's an elementary school! They need a police officer to be parked there when school starts and when school is dismissed. That's it. Bad school.
