But then again, considering my experience with San Diego North Endodontics, I should have expected this. Early last year, I had enough pain to make an emergency visit to my regular dentist. They subsequently sent me over to Doctor Chesler's office for a consultation. Turns out I had an incomplete root canal from a previous dentist many years ago that wasn't done quite right. They got me in right away to resolve the issue and that is exactly what they did! The entire procedure was a cake walk with immediate pain relief. Although there was residual pain due to healing, it has gradually been getting less. My 6-month visit revealed substantial improvement, and my one-year visit showed missing bone structure filling back in. It's to the point of only slight sensation while flossing. Ok, so much for the technical stuff. Regarding Dr. Chesler, I felt like I was his ONLY patient! He kept me fully informed about everything sparing no details. Additionally, he is compassionate in addressing any patient concerns. It's like he goes beyond the call of duty!

Dr. Chesler was also wonderful, he performed the procedure quickly and efficiently, and I felt completely at ease in his care. He actually charged me over $100 to meet with him in his office where I got his sales pitch about how some people need to come 3-4x a year for dental cleanings? The entire time I'm thinking I haven't been to a dentist in years but now I might need to go every quarter? And it would be one thing if it was a great service but I called for a cleaning and instead I got a sales pitch and an X-ray, so that we could schedule another appointment? The doctor was unable to numb me (which has happened before) but then he rushed through the filling while I was feeling the drilling and I'm still sore. I felt all the drilling. I didn't know I had a cavity before he told me but now I've been sore for months. When I checked out, his office asked me to pay the estimate payment in advance which honestly seemed crazy expensive. A few weeks later I get another bill from citracado dental thinking it has to be a mistake I called their office, which is where I got screamed at that everyone charges the same around here. Which made me start asking around. No one I know has had a similar experience. I left a review on yelp. Which resulted in a call from citracado saying they wouldn't charge me the additional invoice if I'd remove the review (which seems illegal considering the insurance) and then they brought up my business which honestly sounded like a threat. Finally they wrote a response apologizing that I couldn't afford them. I'm not anywhere close to not being able to afford $800 I just know I shouldn't be paying that out of pocket after my insurance. Now I'm actually in a tremendous amount and f pain where the doctor drilled and I'm making another appointment with a dentist today.

AND - he was fast. The procedure was on the most inaccessible tooth possible, and yet I was in and out of the office in about 45 minutes! And the results are excellent! I had virtually no pain after the anesthetic wore off - thanks to his gentle (and quick) technique. His girls get a lot of credit also - their knowledge and professionalism contributed greatly to the successful "operation". If your dentist says you need an endodontist - tell him/her, "I want Dr. Hanlon"!

I explained to her my situation, she was so understanding and put me in at 6pm even though they closed at 6:30pm. Dr. Martin was super thorough and patient. He took his time to explain why my crown keeps popping off and he even fixed it so my bit was better. They are old school but can be trusted. You can tell they truly care about their patients. Why would someone get mad, if they are being honest and truthful? I was told I'd have to reschedule for a cleaning. At no point, was I told my first visit was just a consultation. I've never been treated so bad at a clinic before by a dentist. This dental group had gotten a lot of high reviews on Google and Yelp because of a raffle he's offering for reviews! I was duped. Went to another dentist which said I may possibly have 2 small cavities but he couldn't be sure until he removed my sealants/fillings.
