I've never had that, and they're very supportive of making sure the care I'm given is something I really need. I've recommended them non-stop to my friends and realized it was time I do a review too! I had Invisalign with another orthodontist in 2020 and have had some issues post (teeth hitting, etc.) Dr. Sammy has been extremely invested in helping me fix my bite and checking in on what might be causing me issues, even though he wasn't my orthodontist. Dentist stated he would talked to his staff and correct. 2. Xrays are NOT needed every visit. They tried to pressure me today to do Xrays when I just had 6 months ago. It is a BILLING preference for them. This is NOT necessary unless you are having issues or Dentist sees issue upon exam. I had not yet had exam, or cleaning and assistant tried to polish teeth after trying to get me to do Xrays after saying no 2 times. I do not trust this office with my dental care. I walked out. There will be a HUGE legal problem for this office if they attempt to bill my insurance or charge me a cancellation fee.

But then, I'm pleasantly surprised by the very welcoming receptionist, Lina. OK, I feel better already! Then comes Medical Assistant, "Bailey" who instantly charms and engages me about Dr. Bainer and what lies ahead today as she escorts me into the inner chamber. Clearly, Bailey loves her job and respects Dr. Bainer, settling most of my apprehensions. Next up is Dr. Bainer himself, and OMG, I was totally impressed by him, first as a gentleman, second as a knowledgeable and charming dentist who gave me the best medical experience I've encountered in 80 years of visiting doctors ! For me t'was a "red letter day!" Most notable about Dr. Bainer was his kindness and compassion, as exceptional as his obvious drive to deliver the highest possible standard of patient care. I highly recommend you give them a try.. you will not regret it! My daughter (7YO) and I switched over to El Norte after mediocre services from another Escondido dentist. My daughter and I had an hour each dedicated to our visit.. wow! Very impressed. As the employees walked in to get their days started, all of them greeted us with a smile and a "hello" as they walked through the waiting room. I immediately felt welcomed, and nothing felt rushed, which is rare nowadays. My daughter came in for her bi-annual visit and the staff was SO kind and patient with her. She has a horrible gag reflex and doesn't love the dentist. They showed and explained everything to her, and the appointment was a success. The Dentist recommended some preventative care for her back molars (sealants) which I accepted and that was also done with care. After my daughter, it was my turn, and I unfortunately needed a filling. Took care of this during this visit and also had my teeth cleaned. While I was getting my x-rays and before my husband was able to pick up my 7 and 3 year olds, the staff kindly kept an eye on them, ensuring I could concentrate on my teeth. I felt very blessed to have been in that office with such understanding people. Usually, people get upset when kids are around--not them. The staff and dentist took their time to ensure their work was top notch and at the same time, I was not in there for half a day which I truly appreciated! They talked to me about Invisalign which I was thinking about any way and will most likely be moving forward with that once my new insurance kicks in. Everything went off without a hitch and again, everyone was SO nice. 5 out of 5 stars for this office! I highly recommend it! PS. I called about my sharp chipped tooth but they said I had to call and first come in for an exam and x-rays and then schedule getting the tooth fixed at a later date- fine. Of course after the exam they said I needed the whole deep clean etc etc, fine. I came in to get my tooth capped, and they completely messed it up. It doesn't feel anything like a tooth. It's a back molar and the middle part is filled in and flat, unlike a normal molar which has a divot in the middle. It "bubbles" in the back and has a very abnormal shape. The texture of the whole thing is not smooth. And, worst of all, when she was grinding it down; she did too much on one side and the sharp part is exposed again. Now I have to go somewhere else and somehow start over. I mentioned my concerns when I was there but she wasn't understanding.

Germaine & the entire front and back office are equally amazing. I felt heard & supported. I felt understood and listened to. I felt empathy; I felt like I was having a genuine human interaction, which is getting rare these days. Absolutely everyone there was friendly AND professional! They completely humored me, put up with my bad jokes and nervous babbling & laughter; answered my questions and listened to my concerns. Germaine was the best! Super funny guy himself! I hate to say it, but he was my favorite. though everybody there was awesome. And let me tell you, Dr. Soelberg has a magic touch! I had 13 teeth extracted, 3 alveoplasty's with 3 sutures. And that was my second visit. I had an extraction a month before this and had zero pain afterwards. Then, I literally had almost zero pain at all 13 extraction sites. Now my jaw is another story. But that is normal & I'm grateful for the i uprofen. I'm not sure if it IS normal to have almost zero pain at the extraction sites, but I did not. I'm not even sure how that's possible. They truly have a magic touch. The facility is gorgeous, super clean, warm and inviting. I really just can't emphasize adequately how absolutely awesome Dr Soelberg & the staff are.
