The only regret we have is not starting them there in Kindergarten. At Valley, our kids weren't just taught, they were Seen, Known, and Cared for. They were held accountable not only in their Academics, but in their Behavior and Values. The school helped shape them into kind, grounded young people who know who they are and what they stand for. What my Kids learned at Valley not only prepared them for high school, but also set their foundation as they grow into young adults. Our daughter, now a junior in high school, has carried the discipline and strong foundation she gained at VCS and continues to earn straight A's. She still stays close with the school, like I've noticed many former students do. That tells me a lot. Our Son, who graduated last week, came in as a quiet, average student who didn't have much confidence. Today, he's a straight A student and athlete. The basketball games are a lot of fun and I will miss them!! Most importantly, he's developed a very strong core value set and is confident, motivated, and ready for high school. As a parent, I could not ask for anything more. Mrs. Palm, the principal, is truly one of the most God-honoring women we've ever met. Her love for the students is real, and you can feel it in the way she leads...with strength, grace, and Deep Faith. She's not just a Principal; she's a Mom who treats the kids at her School like one of her own. The Teachers and Faculty have also been a tremendous blessing to our family. There's no way to fully describe the love and guidance our kids have received at Valley Christian. It's not something you see every day. VCS is much more than a school, it's a Family. We made an investment when we chose VCS, but God has returned it tenfold. He used this school to bless our family in ways we never expected and ways that exceed any monetary value. Thank you VCS, we are so grateful. Five stars ***** without question. Go Lions!

Unfortunately, principals in this district are rotated around to different schools every few years. Needless to say, everyone missed Mr. Hoff. North Broadway is a California public elementary school, which means very large class sizes and a curriculum that's focused only on getting a high school diploma. If you're looking for future college admissions, you're probably going to have to enroll your kids into a private school or charter school.. Teachers are fine but are completely overwhelmed. Often, problem children are kept in a classroom, and teachers have to deal with them along with 30 other students. Tip - Don't procrastinate on getting your kids on a waiting list for a Charter School. You don't want to send your kids to Rincon Middle School (that's where they'll be assigned after North Broadway).

The older kids openly bullied the younger ones, often in front of the teacher, with no consequences. According to my child, teachers were passive-aggressive toward each other, which created a tense and unhealthy atmosphere. The principal also controls what teachers are allowed to tell parents, so you may not get the full truth about what your child experiences during the school day. I would not recommend this school.

I truly cannot say enough good things about The Way Preschool…read more Our daughter started there when she was almost four years old, and looking back at the past year, I am amazed by how much she has grown. As a bilingual child, we have seen a huge improvement in her English, but even more importantly, we have watched her become more confident, independent, and comfortable expressing herself. One of the things we love most about the school is the amount of outdoor and unstructured play. It is so refreshing to see children encouraged to be children. Watching them play in the mud kitchen, collect rocks, search for worms and frogs, and explore nature has been wonderful. The teachers don't take over their play--they observe, listen, and step in only when needed. Because of this, our daughter has learned how to communicate with her friends, work through small disagreements, create her own games, and build confidence in her own ideas. The teachers are incredible. Communication has always been easy, and I am constantly impressed by how well they know each child. It feels like they truly see and understand who your child is, even in a short amount of time. The learning experiences are thoughtful and engaging. This year, the children watched chicks hatch and followed their journey in the classroom, which was absolutely fascinating. Our daughter would come home excited to tell us about what she had learned. I also have to mention the events and celebrations. The amount of care and attention that goes into creating meaningful memories for the children and families is something really special. Whether it was Mother's Day, Father's Day, or the Christmas musical, every event felt heartfelt and memorable. Seeing our little girl on stage during the Christmas performance is a memory I will cherish forever. The parent-teacher conferences are also incredibly thoughtful and well organized. We always left feeling informed, supported, and reassured. The teachers take the time to discuss your child's progress in detail and answer every question with care and honesty. Most importantly, throughout our time at The Way Preschool, we always felt that our daughter was loved, safe, and genuinely cared for. As a parent, there is nothing more important than that. We are so grateful for the memories, friendships, and experiences our family has had here. Thank you to everyone at The Way Preschool for making our daughter's preschool journey so special.
