It had been almost a year since we last boarded but Ethan helped us get acclimated to the new policies and was super accommodating, even working with me on pick-up when my return flight was delayed. A true life-saver. All the staff are always kind and helpful and they really love on the animals, which I appreciate. They also regularly update with photos and emails to keep you in the loop which is very reassuring. Loki loves it there and is always wiped out when she returns. (She's been napping all day. Very clearly a happy girl ).

Unfortunately, this place was a HUGE disappointment and had a huge negative impact on our pup. Long story short -- Everything here is a sales grab. The few girls care for the animals but the "managers" and men there are just there for the commission of your packages. I had a whole conversation about their unethical sales pitching with the employee while picking up my dog lol. It's "how they keep the place open" - the employee's words, not mine. Astounding. Said employee also asked what I did for a living because I questioned their sales pitch tactics -- I'm in sales. Also, If you need their VIP services for your unspayed or neutered pup, please spend your money elsewhere!! Before committing to a membership, we did a trial day and spent hundreds on drop in days, grooming, and overnight boarding to see if it was a good fit for our high energy pup. Our dog is not neutered and we don't plan on getting him neutered so we chose their VIP rooms. His breed is also extremely high energy and they promised they could accommodate. I also inquired about training multiple times and they kept saying the trainer would contact me. Everything went great after those few visits, they seemed caring and said he was a great fit for a membership so we end up signing up. Then everything went downhill. Upon the first day of the membership, our dog all of a sudden had behavior issues and needed to be picked up. In the middle of my work day I call the shift manager, and he states that if we want our dog to stay, he needs training ... (from their same trainer that I've inquired 3x about before committing to a membership, still haven't heard back). I asked why this wasn't communicated ever before committing to a membership and they didn't have an answer. I informed them that I would've paid for training before committing to a membership if they would've let me know that there were any issues. Our dog went a couple of more times until they could finally get me in touch with the trainer, 6 visits later. Actually I had lost complete trust at this facility. To add insult to injury, I was able to speak to one of their actual workers that is with the dogs and she let me know that our dog is only let out for about 10 minutes at a time, maybe 3 to 4 times a day during a 12 hour stay. This is their VIP option. So not only is he left in a room for about 12 hours a day, with dogs barking all around him, he's not being stimulated nor played with just being let out to go to the bathroom. Contradicting everything they say that they offer. Their "trainer" is also a joke. He is supposed to be from the Marines and well-versed in the breed of dog that we have. Upon washing him for 5 minutes, as I was told, he said that our dog needed to be neutered before he could be trained because of his energy. Our dog is a Malinois and is not supposed to be neutered before 2 years of age. We've since went elsewhere to get our dog trained from someone who is actually educated on his breed and he's worked on all of his anxiety and reactivity issues that our pup got because of this place.

Nova was still a puppy and had a lot of energy, but had a rough start at the shelter after being turned in as a stray. Needless to say, she needed some work. The shelter gave us a trainer to work with, who solved some of the issues, but not all; and not the core problem. We also had another rescue at home so, the dog aggression and fear was a big issue. We tried to work through things on our own, but had hit a plateau and still had issues with fear, people, and dog aggression. For two years, I read endless reviews, looked at several programs, and a few rehabilition specialists. I scoured the Angel City Pit Bull site in search of any help. That's when I came across The Fouche Way - Brandon Fouche. I read ALL of the Yelp reviews and watched his videos on Facebook daily. We kept him in our back pocket, thinking we would reach out one day to enlist his help. During the holidays, Nova bit our other dog due to being overexcited so, we decided it was time to give Brandon a call. In a matter of days our relationship and understanding with Nova started to improve. The advice and insight he shared with us about dog behaviour and how to handle some of the issues we were experiencing has changed our lives. It's been about a month, and things are getting better and better every day. Brandon is invested from DAY ONE with a singular goal to "save lives" which he definitely does. If you are struggling with behavioral problems with your dog, DO NOT HESITATE. The techniques you will learn will last you a lifetime and will definitely turn your relationship around with your pet.

We figured half of it was likely our fault and half was her "real personality" coming through after settling in. So we worked hard on implementing training, trying medication, and managing her environment. However, after a year of completely altering our lives to accommodate her, very little had changed. We loved her so much but felt like we were running out of options. We finally decided to take her in to Brandon after reading the overwhelmingly positive reviews involving dogs that had similar or worse issues than Zuzu's. Because of her complex situation regarding reactivity towards both dogs and certain people, the price of her consultation was quite high ($1800 ). But we figured if it meant we could get our sweet dog and our lives back, it would be more than worth it. After only 4 hours with Brandon and his "pack", we were able to watch Zuzu coexist with other dogs without any aggression and significantly reduced reactivity. She went from barking at Brandon whenever he spoke, to being comfortable and bonded with him. It was like a huge weight had been lifted off our shoulders. We spent the next few weeks implementing Brandon's teaching, while continuing to bring her in for daycare once or twice a week, and now we are finally able to walk Zuzu with significantly less stress or worry. A couple months later, we went on our first park visit in over a year and watched as Zuzu calmly observed multiple dogs walk past her. I even got a compliment today from another pittie owner on how well behaved she is!! Every week Zuzu returns to Brandon excited to see him and all her new friends :) I will be forever grateful to Brandon for helping us keep Zuzu happy and in our lives.

We enrolled Poppy, our 4 month old puppy at the time, in their 10-day reverse board-and-train program. I wasn't expecting her to come out perfectly trained in 10 days, but I did expect the level of intensive training they advertised on their site. The trainer we got was sweet and had a calm energy, which I liked since Poppy was skittish around new people. But the actual training didn't come close to matching what was promised. We have security cameras at home, so I could see exactly what was happening while we were gone. Most days were only 5-10 minutes of actual training. The rest of the time the trainer was watching TV or on her phone. If we'd wanted someone to watch TV with our puppy, we could've asked a neighbor for free. By the end of it, Poppy knew "sit" and "down" and not much else. The separation anxiety and potty training work we'd specifically talked about before signing up hadn't really progressed. I want to be clear, my problem wasn't that she wasn't fully trained in 10 days. It's that we paid for a specific service and didn't get it. I emailed the owner, Jeff, sent him the video clips, and asked for a partial refund. He wouldn't address any of it directly, just offered services that were already included in our package and turned down the refund. Then he was rude to my husband on the phone, which threw me because my husband is about as easygoing as they come and almost never gets worked up over anything. I also found it concerning that the exit document I was given included a clause saying clients agreed not to post negative reviews. I never signed it, but seeing that made me question how much honest customer feedback actually makes it online. Super shady. We ended up going with a different trainer afterward, and Poppy turned out exactly how we'd expected her to after actual, consistent training. Maybe we just got unlucky with the trainer. I can only go off our own experience, but between the training we actually received and how they handled it afterward, I wouldn't recommend them.

It was scary and stressful. Tim helped us realize that training is not just about the dog. It is about teaching the owners how to create healthy boundaries, provide structure, and respond appropriately to each situation. That perspective alone made a huge difference. Since implementing what Tim taught us, Rocko is calmer, more respectful of boundaries, and much better around our toddler. We now feel far more confident and comfortable with the two of them being around each other. Tim did not just help train our dog. He helped us become better and more confident dog parents. Brian helped us understand Hudson (our dog) on a completely different level. He took the time to explain the fears and anxiety driving Hudson's behavior and gave us practical tools to help him feel more secure and confident. Instead of just addressing the behavior itself, Brian helped us see what Hudson was experiencing and how to support him in a way that actually works. Over time, we've seen such meaningful progress. Most importantly, I now feel so much more comfortable and confident with my daughter interacting with Hudson. That peace of mind is something I truly can't put into words. After many sessions and homework, we now have a dog that has so much more confidence, has learned to self soothe and is so much less stressed. Maddie had been having some reactivity issues due to being attacked on 2 separate occasions by a bigger dog. Any time we would walk her, she would howl bloody murder. And if you know a beagle's howl, you know how loud it can get. The neighbors knew when we would be walking her because they could hear her for blocks. And people would stare at us as if we were horrible pet parents so we decided it was enough and contacted Diana for some help. As soon as we met her, she explained her process and how she works. And she explained how and why reactivity occurs. Everything was explained very easily and smoothly so that my spouse and I could understand why Maddie did certain things and how to correct them. We went ahead and did the 8 session package and met weekly with Diana. She laid the foundation for us and we increased training to build on that foundation. Lo and behold, Maddie no longer howls bloody murder when she sees another dog! One of our neighbors noticed and said that he can't tell anymore when we walk her because he doesn't hear us anymore. And every time we spot him during our walks, he's always so impressed with her training and how far she's come along. We ended our training with Maddie learning "down" and we are planning on doing more training sessions to further build on Maddie's training with e-collar training and more obedience. I can't begin to thank Diana enough for all that she's done for us and for our chonk. Diana is super awesome and an amazing trainer. She provides you with the guidance that you need. She's always available if you ever need help with anything or need clarification on any homework assignments she leaves you with before the next training session.
