One of the previous guests who had the same experience

I wish I had read reviews on this place before booking a cabin through them! One of the things we were most excited about was the outdoor fireplace at our cabin. We received an email two days before check-in from Escape to Blue Ridge rental company saying "During a recent inspection, we observed damage to the outdoor fireplace" and told us the outdoor fireplace area could not be used during our stay. Very disappointing! We figured it would be too much trouble to find another cabin with that feature on short notice, plus we needed the EV charging station that was also falsely advertised at this place. After arriving at the cabin, we found this was very misleading. There was no "damage" to the outdoor fireplace. That space is actually undergoing a remodel that was in place far before we even booked the cabin. After looking at reviews for this cabin and doing some investigative work, we found many previous guests who complained that the outdoor fireplace was out of service during their stay, dating back to October 2024. These guests stated they received a similar email right before they checked into the cabin. The misleading nature of this situation caused us not to be able to use a very important feature of this cabin, and the rental company uses false advertising and a last-minute tactic to make sure guests continue to book the cabin. We wouldn't have booked it had we known this feature was out of order. We continue to reach out to Escape to Blue Ridge agency to speak with them with no luck. Unanswered emails, and they continue to advertise this cabin falsely. Renter beware!

This was one of the best vacations I've ever been on and a huge part of what made it so great was the cabin we booked through Escape to Blue Ridge. It felt brand new and was so clean and nice. It also had so many amenities from the Alexa in every room to the 3 different fireplaces, pool table, shuffleboard, hot tub, fire pit, etc. it was the absolute perfect place to enjoy a long weekend in the fall with family. They also were so kind to provide various supplies such as laundry & dishwashing detergent, sponges and dawn, and anything else you wouldn't want to have to go out and buy on vacation. The only thing that I didn't love was the driveway. I specifically picked a cabin that did not state it required 4x4 to get to but this driveway was frightening to say the least. It was extremely steep and gravel. There were a couple of us who got out of the car and walked down because we didn't feel safe in the car lol i shudder to think what a driveway requiring 4x4 looks like lol

I cannot recommend this company. Recently took a trip to Cardinal Ridge cabin. The location was beautiful and the house was easy to access. However, the cleanliness of this house left a lot to be desired. Given the cost of "housekeeping" associated with this rental, I would have expected the house to be clean. The bathrooms had hair stuck to the mirrors and on the counters. The faucet has toothpaste residue. Master shower had black algae/mold. Dust bunnies behind doors. Pet hair everywhere. The chandeliers have not been cleaned in a long time. There was no rental immediately preceding ours, so this was not a quick turn around, which would have offered "housekeeping" the opportunity to thoroughly clean the space. I contacted Escape to Blue Ridge when we left to share this experience along with pictures. Leanne responded quickly and said my message would be forwarded to the teams. After two weeks with no response, I reached out again. Leanne said someone would contact me that day. Three weeks later and still no response. Customer service, care and responsiveness do not seem to exist at Escape to Blue Ridge.

The Bear Claw at Escape to Blue Ridge, while it's a beautiful home it's fairly new and has some things that may need to be addressed with the owner or mangement. The internet is absolutely horrible, we needed a getaway but also needed to keep up with our business and it cost us a lot headache while there due to very sloooooow internet. Simple things about the house such as, ceiling fans, coffee maker, match lighter need to be in working order and all appliances need to be checked prior to the guest getting there. Shame on the management staff. We didn't appreciate workmen intruding out week while we were there to fix and look at appliances. Again this is a management issue. The house again is newer and leaks in the bathroom shouldn't be a problem but in this particular one, it was. Lower bathroom leak coming from the ceiling. We opted to use a different bathroom so we didn't have to see anther workman. The master bathroom shower also holds water in a corner. So there's definitely water leak issues somewhere. And for the level of expectations that come with a stay in this particular home, my thoughts were that the kitchen should have been stocked with better cookware and serve ware etc. also.. The master bedroom nedows that are above the actual windows (with blinds), the light coming in the morning didn't allow for late mornings in bed.

They have always been extremely accommodating and the places where we have stayed have always been everything promised and more. Fireside Lodge is a very secluded place with all the accommodations we wanted. We especially enjoyed the fireplaces (both inside and out) since we got there at a chilly time. The leaves were beautiful and as always, plenty to do and enjoy around the Ellijay/Blue Ridge- or just enjoy the porch and cabin as we did a lot of the time. Will definitely be using them again in the future!

Back in October of 25 I rented a cabin known as The Boondocks thru VRBO not really paying attention…read morethat it was a third party rental thru Morning Breeze cabin rentals. When we arrived late that evening the house was cold and dark and even then it smelled of pet odor. The next morning we noticed pet hair everywhere in the return ventilation on the floor, curtains, towels ,blankets ,beds it was nasty. But we had appointments to be at so we said we will deal with it later.Upon our return to relax we noticed that there were only two towels no problem we will just wash them as we need them. The washer and dryer set wasn't working so when we called we finally spoke to the maintenance on call said it's a timer issue as many time before . Sorry for the ramble but needless to say out of three showers in the place the only one clean enough to use was downstairs in the basement area where the heat didn't work. I could tell you about the floaters in the hot tub and the nasty curtains but you can go see for yourself if you wanna gamble Morning Breeze said they were sorry and would be happy to refund 100 $ for the inconveniences I declined . Never learned a lesson that I dint pay for Stay away !!!

I was worried it might be too small, but it was just right! I stayed in the loft bedroom's king sized bed and my friend stayed on the queen sized sleeper sofa downstairs. We had perfect timing and got to see the leaves changing color and enjoy the cool weather (being from South Florida these are both unusual!) We cooked some of our meals at the cabin in the well-stocked kitchen. There is a full fridge, stove/oven and a full set of dishes, glasses, cooking utensils and silverware. It got cold enough that we made hot apple cider and lit the wood burning fireplace. It was also nice to have the hot tub to soak in after a day out on the town in the cold. The nearby town of Helen is an adorable Bavarian Alpine Village with great little shops and restaurants. We also drove to nearby Dahlonega to check out the shops and artists there. We were able to go horseback riding at the Sunburst Stables in Clarkesville and we also took a trip to the North Georgia Zoo in Cleveland - I highly recommend both! I can't wait to come back in the summer to enjoy some more outdoor activities like tubing on the Chattahoochee River or boating on Unicoi Lake at Unicoi State Park.

Cabin was dusty/dirty and in disrepair, cigarette butts on the porch, and the hot tub wasn't drained from last guests. The kitchen and game room wet bar were infested with German roaches and there were scorpions in the basement bedroom where our kids were sleeping. Called the owner (Diane) and she did nothing... didn't attempt relocate us to another cabin or just offer to refund the cleaning fee.... nothing! When we told her the grill was out of propane, Diane told us to change our plans and get it ourselves because she was too busy. Owner doesn't have the resources for providing clients solid customer service when things aren't right. The cabin we stayed in... Rich Mountain Lodge....is marketed as suitable for weddings. Assuming that you don't want roaches crawling around on your wedding cake (yes, the roaches were really that bad. We couldn't even use the kitchen without them crawling out of the stove or dishwasher).... keep looking. There are plenty of fish in the sea of cabins in the Blue Ridge area.

We stumbled upon Highland Falls Cabins via Vacation Rentals By Owner. We have stayed in…read moreBlairsville, GA many times before, but haven't found our go-to cabin. Blairsville is a small ittle mountain town up near the Georgia and North Carolina state line. Blairsville is home to the tallest peak in Georgia, Brasstown Bald Mountain, part of the Blueridge mountains. There are so many things to do up there (cut down your own Christmas tree at Southern Tree Plantation, tubing, hiking, shopping, horseback riding) and it's just a beautiful town in general. These cabins are nestled on the side of a mountain, right off US19, a main highway in Blairsville. They are in a community of other cabins, but still ensure privacy behind trees and distance. Our cabin was Blackberry Cabin, and it was one of the highest on the property. We have a V6 regular drive Dodge Dakota, and it made it up the gravel road with no problem (after realizing we needed to give it a little more gas than these flat road drivers were used to!) The cabin was fully equipped and gorgeous. We had all the comforts of home plus a wood burning fireplace, and an breathtaking view from the porch. At the entrance of the community, there is a firepit (with pre-chopped wood always stocked), trails to hike along a stream, and fields to play a game of Frisbee if you're so inclined! If you're looking for a safe, comfortable and beautiful mountain community to spend a weekend (or week) at, check out Highland Falls Cabins! You won't be disappointed!
