Before check-in, during our stay, and leading up to checkout, every question I had was answered proactively. The cabin we rented on Trina Lane was perfect for our family. It was clear that a lot of thought had gone into every detail. Helpful instructions were placed throughout the cabin in a way that was both decorative and informative, making everything easy to navigate without feeling overwhelming. The owners truly thought of everything, from extra batteries and firewood for the outdoor fireplace to all the comforts needed for a relaxing stay. The cabin was spacious, comfortable, and offered plenty of privacy thanks to the surrounding trees between neighboring cabins. Highlights included a fun game room with shuffleboard, an outdoor television, built-in bunk beds, a large dining table for gathering together, and three levels of sleeping areas that can comfortably accommodate up to ten guests. Check-in was incredibly easy. We were provided with a unique entry code and detailed directions, which were helpful since GPS could have led us to the wrong location. The views were beautiful, the neighborhood was quiet, and the entire experience was stress-free and enjoyable. I highly recommend this company, and especially this cabin on Trina Lane. If you're considering a cabin getaway, this is a fantastic choice.

We received the following instructions on how to get to the cabin we rented. They were terrible!…read more * Go thru gate another 0.3 miles and stay Right on Ridge Cir (Stay right for shortest route on Ridge Circle as it is very bumpy gravel) This direction is incorrect. Once you go through the gate there is a fork in the road. Per the instructions we took the right side of the fork three times but could not find the cabin. It was extremely difficult and dangerous to turn around and go back down the mountain. We found out later that the right side was private property. What the directions left off was the next option which would have been to drive further up the road and either turn left or go straight up the mountain. To go straight we would have needed a truck. We were never told we would need a truck. Since the grading was terrible, our car could not get enough traction to climb it by then our nerves were shot. We had to call the office to find out how to get to our cabin. We found we had to turn left and climb the mountain by driving above the cabin and coming down to it. Again, the grading was terrible, and the climb was very scary. Everyday we had to cut our day short since we had to get back to the cabin before it was dusk due the conditions of the road. We ended up leaving two nights earlier. I called the office on 10.21.26 @ 9:33am and spoke with Cassie to let her know we had left. Please, understand, we have rented cabins from Escape to Blue Ridge many times and have been told when we needed a truck to rent a particular cabin. After I booked the cabin, I called the office to get further information. We had not been on vacation for many years due to my husband's health and I wanted to make sure the cabin was easy for him to maneuver around which is why I picked one with no steps (into the cabin) and a recliner. Needless to say, we could not use the back porch because the step was too high for him to step down and it was impossible to get into the spa because it was elevated.

What we got instead was a yard that looks like it had not been cared for in months, a fence that was falling down, and the presence of a feral cat that made it impossible to have our dogs outside. We could not stay there, but were forced, by circumstance, to stay one night. We communicated with them by phone that we would not be staying in this house that did not match the description or pictures we were presented. "Disception" is the word that comes to mind. Instead of refunding our money, however, this company decided to keep half of it. We were willing to pay for one night, but instead they decided they were owed more, when they were the ones that did not provide what we had paid for. Don't even consider renting from this group. They will not provide good service, will not honor their commitments, and will try to steal from you when they're called on their BS.

I arrived on Sept 11, 2026 to find one of the gates to the so called fenced yard didn't work and the stairs to the patio wasn't enclosed. The dogs could walk out ot the so called fence on both sides. The fence was actually a railfoad tie wall and a small fence with gravel. The property has no grass. I spend the weekend walking my 2 dogs in rain and drizzle. I called Morning Breeze to complain and they really didn't care and said they only knew if the listings were accurate if a renter let them know. Do not rent from this company.

Cabin was dusty/dirty and in disrepair, cigarette butts on the porch, and the hot tub wasn't drained from last guests. The kitchen and game room wet bar were infested with German roaches and there were scorpions in the basement bedroom where our kids were sleeping. Called the owner (Diane) and she did nothing... didn't attempt relocate us to another cabin or just offer to refund the cleaning fee.... nothing! When we told her the grill was out of propane, Diane told us to change our plans and get it ourselves because she was too busy. Owner doesn't have the resources for providing clients solid customer service when things aren't right. The cabin we stayed in... Rich Mountain Lodge....is marketed as suitable for weddings. Assuming that you don't want roaches crawling around on your wedding cake (yes, the roaches were really that bad. The cabin is a perfect harmony for me, just like it's name "Perfect Harmony". It's has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, very sweet, cute, and cozy. It comes with full kitchen (including supplies just bring your groceries), big screen TV with DirectTV and wifi access. Two decks top and bottom with beautiful view of the sweet serenity of the mountains. The top deck has a thing you can start a fire (lol - I really don't know what it's call), they have logs for you. The bottom deck has a hot bubbling jacuzzi fit four. The overall furniture and decors are amazing. Their theme are bears, pine trees, and pine cones. I would definitely come back to this cabin again.

Why would I want to rent from them again? ORIGINAL POST: Rivers D Lite, rented for 15 nights, was infested with COCKROACHES. Georgia Mountain Cabin Rentals/owners knew prior to our arrival there was an infestation as the half-hearted measures for treatment were left under the kitchen sink. We were reassured that GMCR would remedy the problem. Even though it was treated twice while we were there we had cockroaches until the morning we left. "New kitchen" has outdated kitchen appliances. The dishwasher broke in the first week we were there and wouldn't be replaced until after we left. Stove and fridge are outdated as well. GMCR is well-versed in customer service dialog; horrible with follow through.
