The cabin itself was gorgeous, clean, and had a great view, we stayed at the absolute relaxation. Great size for a couple or two, or small family. The fire pit and hot tub were also a nice touch. I was a little unprepared for a portion of the road being a bit rocky going up to the cabin lol but that was no biggie. I'm sure we will rent with them again if we decide to make another trip up to blue ridge.

The address is 498 Eagles nest Blue Ridge, Georgia. Our cabin was a little pricey. We know it's summertime that's OK we're OK with that. We decided to give it a go give it a shot we arrive at our cabin. We noticed right away. The cabin looks nice outside, but then we noticed the hot tub was leaking. We also noticed they had broken baseboards at the top of the kitchen, which was OK no big deal they did send out a mechanic to try to fix the hot tub that didn't work. Also we noticed downstairs. Bathroom did not lock or bedroom did not lock so no privacy there our stay was OK. We had a great time. We made the best of it. They also need to trim the trees out back. There's no Mountain View at all on the first and second deck, which is shown in pictures that you're able to see half the world that's not true. Everything went OK. We finished our trip for four nights there we come home and we get a email saying that we have a bill due because we had a dog in the cabin. I don't own a dog. I've never owned a dog my whole life. They are very sneaky people very shady. Watch out. Take pictures. Document everything when you first get to their cabins.!!!!!!!. PS WE ARRIVED A COUPLE HOURS EARLY SO I GAVE THE HOST/ management team A CALL TO SEE IF WE COULD check in a bit early then they try to tell me that I have to pay a $56 fee to check in early. That's crazy this place in this company is all about just money money money.

When we arrived late that evening the house was cold and dark and even then it smelled of pet odor. The next morning we noticed pet hair everywhere in the return ventilation on the floor, curtains, towels ,blankets ,beds it was nasty. But we had appointments to be at so we said we will deal with it later.Upon our return to relax we noticed that there were only two towels no problem we will just wash them as we need them. The washer and dryer set wasn't working so when we called we finally spoke to the maintenance on call said it's a timer issue as many time before . Sorry for the ramble but needless to say out of three showers in the place the only one clean enough to use was downstairs in the basement area where the heat didn't work. I could tell you about the floaters in the hot tub and the nasty curtains but you can go see for yourself if you wanna gamble Morning Breeze said they were sorry and would be happy to refund 100 $ for the inconveniences I declined . The stains were still there once we pulled the sheets off. The roof was leaking water in the middle of the living room. The house was halfway cleaned. We found an oxtail bone on the floor in the game room when we arrived. All of the bed pillows were flat. The pool table was busted all up, so we couldn't play that. The internet Wi-Fi wasn't getting good reception. The living room tv remote only worked half the time. Glad we only signed up for 2 nights. I will never return to that cabin rental location EVER AGAIN.

Cabin was dusty/dirty and in disrepair, cigarette butts on the porch, and the hot tub wasn't drained from last guests. The kitchen and game room wet bar were infested with German roaches and there were scorpions in the basement bedroom where our kids were sleeping. Called the owner (Diane) and she did nothing... didn't attempt relocate us to another cabin or just offer to refund the cleaning fee.... nothing! When we told her the grill was out of propane, Diane told us to change our plans and get it ourselves because she was too busy. Owner doesn't have the resources for providing clients solid customer service when things aren't right. The cabin we stayed in... Rich Mountain Lodge....is marketed as suitable for weddings. Assuming that you don't want roaches crawling around on your wedding cake (yes, the roaches were really that bad. We couldn't even use the kitchen without them crawling out of the stove or dishwasher).... keep looking. There are plenty of fish in the sea of cabins in the Blue Ridge area.

Why would I want to rent from them again? ORIGINAL POST: Rivers D Lite, rented for 15 nights, was infested with COCKROACHES. Georgia Mountain Cabin Rentals/owners knew prior to our arrival there was an infestation as the half-hearted measures for treatment were left under the kitchen sink. We were reassured that GMCR would remedy the problem. Even though it was treated twice while we were there we had cockroaches until the morning we left. "New kitchen" has outdated kitchen appliances. The dishwasher broke in the first week we were there and wouldn't be replaced until after we left. Stove and fridge are outdated as well. GMCR is well-versed in customer service dialog; horrible with follow through.

Stayed at Barn at Creeks Edge, this location is absolutely beautiful I did not want to leave at all. Barn was very clean. They have just about everything you need to make your stay comfortable. I would recommend bringing fire logs, extra toilet paper and hand soap. Few things: The strawberries left in the room for us were molded, we did not eat them. They forgot to add water to the roses, they were wilted when we got there, but they perked up after I added water. We had a cold shower the first night because H means cold and C means hot. ‍ We had no cell service which made business calls hard, but WIFI was excellent We did hear gun shots being fired a few days, but I'm from the county and I'm use to that. City folks might be scared ‍ We would definitely stay there again!
