There is a main barn with a gourmet kitchen, a large lower deck, an upstairs loft/bunker, rooms for entertaining and a pool equipped with a hot tub -- all of it faces the mountains. It's gorgeous! Down the hill, there are tons of little adorable cabins. Some of them have bunk beds, with trundles underneath! (I think about 6 beds?) Other cabins, like the one I stayed in, have a queen bed in the center. No closet space-- but there are lots of hooks to hang stuff on. I really enjoyed the simplicity of it all-- all white walls, white sheets and a natural wood finish ceiling. It was relaxing just to look at it all. Late at night you can hear the crickets and in the morning you can hear the song birds. I saw that most of the cabins, separated in sets of 4, had fire pits near them. A large field separated my cabin from the petting zoo. Sometimes, the goats would holler but it wasn't annoying. The little pigs are just adorable too! Hens and roosters also reside here, but I didn't hear the rooster in the morning like I thought I would. A natural farm is also on the grounds-- we had fresh basil water all weekend long! Yum! Since my brother is disabled, a cart was rented so he could get to and fro the event hall and cabins. They called it the "mule" and it actually stopped working for a short period of time. The manager of the property was called and it was promptly fixed-- the man got out of bed at 9pm to get the mule running! Great customer service. The mule is powerful -- it was handy when shuttling guests and their luggage. I loved this place and would consider renting it for a weekend if I lived closer!

From…read morethe moment we checked in until the time we checked out, every staff member was welcoming, friendly, and genuinely hospitable. The resort is peaceful, quiet, and the perfect place for a weekend getaway. It gave us a chance to enjoy a much-needed digital detox--not just from our phones, but also from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. One of the highlights of our stay was the spa experience. We signed up for massages, facials, and the mineral soaks, and everything was absolutely amazing. The treatments were relaxing, rejuvenating, and exactly what we needed to unwind. The spa staff were professional and made us feel pampered from start to finish. We thoroughly enjoyed the wine tasting, and every wine we sampled was excellent. The live entertainment offered on weekend afternoons was also a wonderful touch and added to the relaxing atmosphere. During our stay, we took time to explore downtown Blairsville and discovered several charming family-owned restaurants. One of the things that made our stay even more special was finding a guest book in the cabin where visitors could sign their names and share memories of their stay. This was a memorable and relaxing birthday getaway. Between the beautiful setting, wonderful spa treatments, great wine, live entertainment, and exceptional hospitality, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We will definitely be back!

A large side yard makes you forget there's convenience of an Aldi immediately across the street. The back yard is my favorite. A beautiful meandering creek runs right outside with a swing for sitting and reading. A fire pit sits directly on the creek, right off the porch to the right. The cottage is adorably decorated, with high end finishes. Well appointed, nothing was missing. We are a family of 4, and the kids shared the upstairs, while my husband and I had plenty of room in the downstairs master. It rained our first night and we used ridge runner service to deliver take out. We got sushi from the Sushi shack on my daughter's recommendation. It was ridiculously good. Rochelle , who owns creekside cottages , is easy to work with, kind, and makes the whole process easy from start to finish. We stayed here to drop our eldest child at Young Harris College. It is a convenient location while dealing with college visits. It's about 10 minutes from the campus. Close by, you'll find Vogel state park, golfing, good food, a quaint downtown and also brasstown bald. On the same road as the cabins, we've discovered a dog park, ice cream and mini golf! We've now visited 4 times . We will continue to visit, as long as the millers will have us. It's got a peaceful, calm vibe that I appreciate. Highly recommended!
