We booked a date ahead of time that turned out to be right after the late January ice storm. The inn called to confirm our visit or to offer a refund with no penalty. "We are comIng" and so they were ready. We were the only guest, however, which was great, because we had the run of the place, but odd because from 9PM until 5;00 AM or thereabouts we were the only people in the inn. But happy hour went on nevertheless, beforehand, and dinner was cathead biscuits, local pecan encrusted pan seared trout, and other local delicacies. We felt so special! Our room was very nice, however, if you happen to be here during or after an ice storm, don't get a room adjacent to the main road. The power company did a great job clearing roads and restoring lines and such, but they get an early start and are big and loud rolling down the main cross street at very early AM times, and we are early risers. Just saying, a very, very lovely stay, but get a back room if an ice storm has just rolled through. Definitely will return!

A large side yard makes you forget there's convenience of an Aldi immediately across the street. The back yard is my favorite. A beautiful meandering creek runs right outside with a swing for sitting and reading. A fire pit sits directly on the creek, right off the porch to the right. The cottage is adorably decorated, with high end finishes. Well appointed, nothing was missing. We are a family of 4, and the kids shared the upstairs, while my husband and I had plenty of room in the downstairs master. It rained our first night and we used ridge runner service to deliver take out. We got sushi from the Sushi shack on my daughter's recommendation. It was ridiculously good. Rochelle , who owns creekside cottages , is easy to work with, kind, and makes the whole process easy from start to finish. We stayed here to drop our eldest child at Young Harris College. It is a convenient location while dealing with college visits. It's about 10 minutes from the campus. Close by, you'll find Vogel state park, golfing, good food, a quaint downtown and also brasstown bald. On the same road as the cabins, we've discovered a dog park, ice cream and mini golf! We've now visited 4 times . We will continue to visit, as long as the millers will have us. It's got a peaceful, calm vibe that I appreciate. Highly recommended!

The resort is peaceful, quiet, and the perfect place for a weekend getaway. It gave us a chance to enjoy a much-needed digital detox--not just from our phones, but also from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. One of the highlights of our stay was the spa experience. We signed up for massages, facials, and the mineral soaks, and everything was absolutely amazing. The treatments were relaxing, rejuvenating, and exactly what we needed to unwind. The spa staff were professional and made us feel pampered from start to finish. We thoroughly enjoyed the wine tasting, and every wine we sampled was excellent. The live entertainment offered on weekend afternoons was also a wonderful touch and added to the relaxing atmosphere. During our stay, we took time to explore downtown Blairsville and discovered several charming family-owned restaurants. One of the things that made our stay even more special was finding a guest book in the cabin where visitors could sign their names and share memories of their stay. This was a memorable and relaxing birthday getaway. Very kid and dog friendly! The bathhouse is brand new, so lovely, and is the cleanest bathhouse I've ever been in at an RV park. The owners are some of the kindest people we've met in NC, super accommodating, ensured we liked our spot, and set up a picnic table and fire pit for us to use at the site. Truly the best Campground we've ever stayed at. I highly recommend staying here, whether for a night, a week, or for a long term!!!

Views of beautiful tall trees…read more The sites are very spacious on large gravel surrounded by green grass that run all along the creek where you can dip your feet in, throw in a line, observe the Ducks and Blue Heron or just listen to the serene sound of the water. It also is a short drive to many activities should you choose. A short drive to the quaint town of Murphy for vintage shopping, wine tasting, brewery and plenty of places to grab a bite. We highly recommend the fried pickles at Chevelle's! Owners, Jon and Eileen are so welcoming and always available if needed. New bathroom/showers will be finished by Spring 2024.
