I am so mad that I came here for my birthday treat (massage) and wish I read the reviews before..especially Lakeisha's. I came in and the lady at the front took me to the room where I had to sort everything before undressing. From the time she walked me to the back to when she started The massage she asked twice about payment which should have been a red flag. The massage was just really awkward and not relaxing. It felt good yes, but not relaxing at all. It was so fast and I felt like I was just being mooshed around. Then I heard someone come in and she started talking to a man..which I didn't really like because as Lakeisha said in her review we are pretty exposed. I heard the door close and the massage continued with me face down. Then they went to massage my foot and when I giggled (I'm so ticklish) A MAN laughed and said something. I almost threw up. I had no idea that a man was massaging me and it wasn't just my foot that was touched after that door closed. They traded places conveniently enough before I was turned over and could see..then if that wasn't bad enough when I went to check out she asked about a tip and I told her how much i would tip, honestly feeling like I was being generous considering, she had the sheer audacity to tell me it wasn't enough and propose a different amount. I was a walk-in today and my experience was not good. The package was a body massage and a facial and once I arrived, I asked the guy at the front if I could have a woman to do my massage and he told me I would have Julie to do the massage and that she is the best. Julie also does not speak great English So when I asked her to no longer open the door once she came in to start the massage, she did not understand what I was saying, until after a few times of us coming to some type of language understanding... The guy at the front barely understood her. Julie did a decent job however, the first 10 minutes she kept walking in and out and then the guy from the front even came to the door, so that was uncomfortable because obviously you have to be undressed with a sheet covering you... And then in the middle of the massage, Julie opens the door and the guy from the front comes back in saying that he was going to do the foot massage after I asked him what was he doing in the room... I declined the foot massage several times stating that I just don't like for men to do my massages and he insisted on how great the foot massage was and I let him know to take it off of the massage package because if he had to do it, I didn't want it to be done... so I didn't get a foot massage and that's fine. Julie did a good facial HOWEVER I will not be going back due to the constant opening of the door and disregard for privacy and respect of someone who does not have their clothes or their phone near them. read more

First off the massage was nice. But they will rip you off! beware!! please beware! They gave me a one hour massage. They overcharged me and said that they asked me about extras DURING the massage...when I'm relaxed! Then they blamed me for not saying no to the extra charges! I will NEVER go back. read more

This used to be a good place to get a massage but I was ripped off the last time I went. I asked for a 1 hour massage 3 different times but after my massage they told me that I had agreed to a 90 minute massage. I had not. I did not pay it and I will never return there. Be careful they are trying to upsell you during the whole massage. read more

Went to Escape Spa about 2 months ago. I had a regular 1-hour massage there several years ago and loved it, so thought I'd give it another try. The spa is [?now?] a healing and wellness spa, and I didn't pay attention to that. I asked for a 1-hour massage and received so much more. It was more like a chiropractic adjustment. The procedure was quite intense, which cause me to struggle to relax. "This is not what I was expecting," but it was exactly what I needed. I left feeling so much better than what (I think) a regular massage would have accomplished. My only pause about returning is not knowing the type of training (if any) the "therapists" have had. I would not want an injury to occur. The staff did not speak English, and we had to communicate via a translation app. I was charged $70; I was not over charged, and no one demanded a tip. A regular message may be available, so I recommend Escape Spa Healing and Wellness with optimistic caution. read more

I have been a client of V's for over a year now. She is simply amazing and gives the best deep tissue massage that I have ever had. I am an artist so my shoulders and lower back are always getting strained by the work that I do. An hour with V and I am like a new person. Brought my husband who was extremely nervous to go. He has had back surgery. V. made him feel comfortable and then made him feel amazing! He raved about it for weeks. read more
