Before 9/11 we traveled frequently to Thailand, Vietnam and China. What a surprise to find a little slice of authentic Asian massage in Douglasville. This is just like the small, clean, quiet establishments with overly trained staff that we had enjoyed on our trips. I was shocked to read reviewers complain that there was no conversation - this is massage, not a dating service. Text someone if you are so lonely. Please leave the ugly American attitude at home, do you really think the drone of your own voice is entertaining to everyone - relax, be quiet for an hour, mediate - give us all a break. read more

It's our 13th anniversary and we decided to get a massage. We are both pleased with our service. The staff were nice and welcoming. We will utilize their services again!!! read more

I love how quite it is. Very relaxing and calming. I usually get the foot detox and foot message and it's a nice self care treat. The staff have always been friendly although the language barrier can sometimes be difficult to ask questions and request various services and ensure you know the price your going to pay ahead of time. Recently I got the full body message and it was great I wished it lasted longer!!! I will continue to go. read more

My husband booked this place for my mother and I for Mother's Day. As we arrived, they were asking us who was going to leave the tip before we were even serviced. My husband had paid and basically all I needed to do was sign the receipt. The conversation of who was going to tip was inappropriate and unprofessional. Moving forward, they gave me a massage literally right in front of the door. I don't know how they expect anyone to relax this way. The masseuse was answering the phone, talking to fellow co-workers, and talking to those that were walking in. At one point a man walked in and was walking around about an appointment with his wife. And I could hear everything. They massaged me fully clothed. And once I was finished and sat up it was a lady sitting on the other side watching. I'm assuming she was a customer waiting her turn. This place was not relaxing, comfortable, or anything you would expect to gain from getting a massage. I hate that this is how I spent Mother's Day. But more importantly, it was not worth the money my husband spent for myself and my mother. To add, they wanted a tip before the service. The service didn't deserve a tip at all. I'm terribly disappointed and will never return. read more

They were rude and also I left in a lot of pain.. it's a day later and I'm sore, due to the massager doing it so rough. Wouldn't recommend at all! read more

It's always good when we go. Sometimes a little warm for my taste specially in winter. The owner is cool and services my wife. Best to call in advance due to Covid. I go once a week so that's a good sign read more

They were terrible. My husband paid for me to have a 90 massage and I had three people that worked on me. One of which answered the phone and continued to work on me while talking on the phone. I could hear the lady asking for prices etc.... I will not use them again. read more

This was the WORST massage I've EVER had. I requested a 90 min deep tissue massage focusing on my piriformis, I.T. band, groin, & hip abductors. I am 6ft 250lbs. My assistant was assured that this was within their ability. - THE 100lbs LADY HAD NO IDEA HOW TO GIVE A REGULAR MASSAGE LET ALONE A DEEP TISSUE! - SHE SNEEZED ON MY BACK TWICE! - SHE NEVER TOUCHED MY LEGS! - SHE KEPT HITTING ME IN THE HEAD - SHE LITERALLY RUBBED HER HAND ON MY BACK FOR AN HOUR. I literally got up, paid, and left. I stopped to the store to buy some emergen-c then came home to take a shower because I feel disgusted! read more

I had a booked appointment and they would not honor my appointment when I arrived I told the woman who hardly spoke any English that I was here for a massage appointment she looked confused and kept asking what? Then she told me I had to leave and come back I told her would not be returning... it was hot in there and it smelled funny anyway... I rarely give places bad reviews but this place really disappointed me read more

Woke up a man when I walked in very dimly lit place. I only had time for a 30 minute foot massage so they accommodated me but with a higher price. Massage was great but lacked personal service, no conversation so recommend bringing a friend. Masseuse yawned several times while massaging. An old magazine kept me entertained. All seemed very clean and sanitary, started with brief soak, massage followed with hot stones, warm towels, and finished with rubber hammers. I will try it again and can hopefully bring my hubby. read more

I've been going to Relax Massage, every 2 weeks, pretty much since they've opened. Its super close to my job and usually has availability. They also accept appointments. Never a bad experience. The pricing is responsible and priced perfectly for the demographic. My only complaint is the foot massage chairs proximity to the front door and telephone, can get quite noisy. Check them out sometime! read more

Tina did such a awesome job as always. My back was really hurting and she massaged my back right in the spot that was bothering me. Will come back 100% of the time !!! Thank you Tina read more

I went to this place on 7/20 for an hour long foot massage. The male massage therapist was very eager. He set me up with a foot soak and started preparing me for the massage. A few minutes later another lady came in and inquired about a massage. He demonstrated his skills on her and she decided to get a body massage. He came back and spoke to the other ladies in another language. I could tell that he wanted to assist the new customer. So he told me, 30 minutes only for $20. I said no I wanted an hour massage. He acted like I didn't state a hour massage earlier. I there first and he had started working on my feet. I indicated that since you want to help her, I'm leaving. He asked me if I could come back! How insulting! I remarked bad business and stormed out the establishment. I am going to report this the Chamber of Commerce in Douglas county. read more

I absolutely love going here they give the best Thai massages ever without having to go to Thailand to get one. They are friendly they listen and I wouldn't choose any other place I suffer from knots in my back and also lower back pain every time I come here I feel so rejuvenated. Try them out you definitely won't regret it and the best part of the massage is the hot rocks that's included Free!! read more

Was looking for a local spot to get regular massages & did not want to go with one of the chain spas. Relax massage is continently located near the exit so getting in & out was easy. This was my first visit & I opted for 60 minute foot massage. To be honest I was a little skeptical on the service but I'm please to report that I was satisfied. Massage first started with having feet soaked in Hot water for 10 minutes & then each feet got attention for close to 25 minutes each. No complaints. I will certainly try this massage place out again. read more

I have been to Relax Massage five times now and I keep coming back for a really great massage even though it is a 40 minute drive for me. I has a nice relaxing atmosphere and the ladies here really do know how to get the kinks out. I really enjoy my sessions with Tina and Candy is very good also. They are both lincensed therapists so they know what they are doing. I have also gotten a couple of foot massages which are very relaxing and stimulating at the same time. Totally professional, no extras here. read more

I regularly go to Relax Massage. I typically get the 90 minute massage and never have trouble booking last minute. Massages are always great and the staff is friendly. The pricing is reasonable. $80 for a 90 minute full body massage is great. read more

My favorite "do drop in" spot! Excellent for a relaxing foot massage. Very pleasant atmosphere and you just can't beat the price. $30.00 for an hour so please, tip well. Can be a little noisy as its an open area close to the door. You will hear the door open and the phones ring. Other than that, no complaints. I'm a regular! read more

Thus is far the worst " relax massage" I ever encountered. The workers are talking the entire time in there language. The foot massage was just awful there is no way these women are licensed and yet, know what there doing. And how do u give a massage with your clothes on?????? But, hey u get u pay for!!!! Will be calling the board to see if these women are cerfied. Beware stay, run away from the place. Your better off going in the mall to the guys standing out !!!! read more

Way to expensive. I'm visiting from Los Angeles and I'm used to paying 1/2 the price. They need to drop their prices for the basic massage prices to $30 for one hour not half hour. Other than that fairly decent massage, nice atmosphere. read more

This is the best massage place in the area. I will stop by every time I come to Atlanta. Tina is one of the best massage therapists I had met. She is professional and nice. She definitely knows how to massage. Highly recommended! read more

I've been to this location three times. I have had three different massage therapists, but found the male technician was light handed. I prefer deep tissue massage, so the women are better for that purpose. read more

Quality has gone to the dogs!! Over booking and trying to get every single dollar out there has cost them.... Im a long time customer but not anymore; my Mothers day debacle was the last straw... Booked a 2 hour foot massage, days in advance for my wife and i and even confirmed the massage 20 minutes prior to showing up and only got an hour...the Owner Tina tried telling me that sometimes people change their minds etc etc ... I told her "no maam, I just confirmed 20 minutes ago via a phone call that I wanted 2 hours, try another excuse. This has happened a couple of times, yesterday was just the last straw. read more

So-so. The young woman who gave my massage spoke so little English that she couldn't understand what I said during the massage when she was applying too much pressure and I tried to ask her to use less intensity. Plus, she kept leaving to answer the phone, breaking the flow of the experience and taking away from my time. Disappointing . . . read more

Absolutely the worst place ever !! I scheduled a hour massage. At arrival I was practically begged to do a 90 min or two hour. Begged multiple times. I told them no. I fell asleep to be woke up after 90 mins and was begged again to go two hours. I got up and told her no! I said 1 hour. She charged me for 90 mins and asked me for a tip ?? Really! When I selected 0 for a tip she looked at me in anger ? Really ! I asked to be put in contact with the owner and she said no he's in China. No contact. Really ? In today's world no contact?? I called back hoping to get the owner and was asked multiple times what my business was with him. I stressed multiple times that my business with the owner was not anyone else's business. A guy claiming to be the manager grabbed the phone and told me I was not going to talk to his girl that way ! ?? Take in mind I called hours before opening hours hoping to get some info or a voicemail to leave a message and someone was there ?? Male and female and he was very aggressive and rude ?? The owner needs to know what's going on in his establishment! If. If that was indeed a manager he was absolutely rude. I will never. Ever recommended this establishment and I will not be returning. read more

Was able to walk in and be servicedl for a full body right away. The space and decor was nice and relaxing. There was no introduction from my therapist besides offering services and pricing ..My massage room was cold no heat on in the building.. The therapist had on a coat..I assumed she had just came from outdoors.. The thearapist started to bring in space heaters after I informed her it was cold... I began to undress when I notice there was no blanket or top sheet . Because there was no sheet and blanket I assumed this was a clothes massage. The therapist explained that she would use towels to cover my body . The massage was rushed and abrupt in my opinion. The therapist stop the session several times to greet walk-ins and to conversate with her co worker. She left the room at least 4 time during our hour session . After my massage we moved to the foot massage area where the therapist spent the entire 20 min talking to her co worker in there foreign languange. Not sure if this is the culture of massage in Georgia but I will not be returning to Relax Massage again.. read more

Relax massage is wonderful. I had severe neck and shoulder pain so received 1 1/2 hour massage. Even during the massage, I had burning pain that made massage itself painful and I was doubtful whether massage would help. I do not know the name of the guy working there, but he really worked on me; he is very skillful, strong, and professional! Next morning, I woke up with no pain at all. It was like a miracle! I could not believe it. I honestly have not been a believer of massage, but my 5 times visits changed my mind. And people there are super nice, and the price is really great! I highly recommend this place. read more

I was, at Relax Massage yesterday for an hour massage. I normally get a great massage everytime. The lady thay worked on me was horrible.. I tried to communicate to her that my shoulders were hurting, but she didn't understand. She went up and down my back and butt for the first 15 minutes. I thought she would eventually get to my shoulders, but she continued to rub up and down my back. I told her to just do 30 minutes on the massage , and I would get a 30 minute foot massage because it was soooooo bad. By the time the 30 minutes were up, I didn't even allow her to use the stones, or wipe the oil off of me. I was so pissed, I didn't even get the foot massage. I just paid her 30.00 for nothin and left. I went across the street to Oasis to get some relief on my shoulders , and they were closing, due to the holiday. That made me even more upset, because I needed my shoulders worked on. The manager called and left a message the next day for me to call him. I tried calling back , and a lady answered that didn't understand a word I was saying and hung up on me 3 times. I will never ever go back to Relax Massage. I really think the people were replacements for the regular employees. It was awful. I am always happy when I leave there, but yesterday was not. I will just go across the street to Oasis from now on. Oh yea. When the lady kept hanging up, because she couldn't understand me, I told her that I would just write a review, and she just kind of said Okaaay thank you. There should always be at least one person in the building that can speak and understand English !!!! Never again!!! My body consist of more than just my back. They owe me my 30.00 back. She did nothing, but aggravate the situation. I only gave 1 star because I had too. She should not be massaging anybody. She was horrrrrible!!! I want my money back read more

Signed up for a couples massage. The piece that holds your head on the end of the table was broke so I basically had to keep my neck up for 90 min. The masseuse acknowledged it and tried to fix a few times but never recommend moving us. I did not want to complain as not to stress my wife out. The birds and ambient sounds were relaxing if you could get past the loud clicking of the clock. TICK TOC TICK TOC...I mean really, could you not just place a digital clock in there? Pretty sure it was 4:40 when the two masseuses came out to get us and my phone said 5:51 when I got of the table which was about 2-3 minutes after I finished talking to my wife next to me so basically we got a 70 min massage for 90 price. Reached out to them first thing Monday morning (massage was sat night) with no response so time to let others know. Would never go back. I will say the massage itself was 7-8 out of 10 through but to me a good massage as just as much to do with the surroundings as the massage itself. So if you are looking for the complete relaxing massage, I'd look elsewhere. read more
