I found this gem next to Belk in the mall. The lady was Soo nice. I got the reflexology and detox combo. One thing I believe in is good reflexology being done on my feet. We paid for two hour long full body massages and enjoyed every minute. Their English isn't that great and they don't know what Swedish means but they were able to understand the word "soft". The massage was still enough to get the knots out but not exactly soft soft either. But I still enjoyed it. You can hear the music in the mall playing but the music in the room is still loud enough to relax you. Their techniques of massage are not traditional but they are still very well skilled. Men: be aware, they will straddle you while laying in your stomach to better massage your back. The woman may massage very fast paced but they will reach every part of your body. They use hot towels on you after the massage to get the oil off your skin. There are no hidden fees for couples massage as well. We will come back! I thought this place was just ok. However, my friend loves it! But she also has a massage therapist whom she regularly sees here and knows exactly how she likes to be massaged. Their English is not that great, but they have an English speaking lady at the desk to help with any language barriers. Unfortunately, you will likely hear the chatter from the mall patrons outside of the spa. But if the massage is nice enough and the music is loud enough, it's not so bad. My Husband and I visited Refresh Body Works this past weekend on a couples certificate that was given to us a gift. Customer services/consideration has awful as the massage therapists switched twice during our massage (total of 3), I begin with a woman and ended with a man without being asked on my preference. The woman I began with ended with my Husband . They talked among themselves throughout the 60 min we were there! At the end of the visit when we handed over our certificate the man checking us out immediately extended his open hand and said, "Tip"! He didn't give us the opportunity to offer our tip, how rude! Not only did he ask for a tip my husband asked for change and suggested he keep the entire $20 bill! This was our 1st time having a massage and the experience was absolutely HORRIBLE!
