We had an appointment at 12:00 on Valentines Day for a couples massage, we get there at 5 mins til and they show us to the room. After laying there on the table for 20 minutes with no one coming in to say anything we started getting dressed. They must have a camera in the room because as soon as we started getting dressed a lady looked in the door. We left without our massage, on the way out down the hall we passed two rooms with the doors half open and saw people getting massages, with the doors open!! We went to get a margarita and someone called to say we missed our appointment...WTH??!! Will not be going back! read more

Despite the mix up on the appointment, the massage I received from Jenny was amazing. She is the manager and was very nice and was able to relieve some stress I was experiencing. They take the necessary precautions regarding COVID-19. It was clean and smelled nice inside. Candy the receptionist was apologetic to the fact there was a mix up. She was nice and professional. PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! I bought a groupon as an anniversary gift to my husband. Called to make a reservation & notified them that I was using a Groupon. They tell me that they will not honor any Groupon's. It was purchased today June 13, 2020 & Groupon is still showing their business On the website as well as allowing customers to purchase. I asked why they were still advertising on Groupon if they were not going to except them but still take peoples money he Said it should've been taken down. I myself have a plumbing Company that I listed on Groupon and after not liking the commission split I called and asked them to disable the promotion. Currently that promotion is no longer on their site and my business is no longer taking any payments. Cedar massage is scamming people. When people purchase Groupon's the $ is collected & they do monthly deposits (If cedar spa is still up on the site they are still getting those deposits) and free promotion. Not only can they call and talk to Groupon to have it removed but there is an option in the system to disable your Groupon if you want to. They clearly have not done either one of those things and are continuing to take peoples money (DURING A PANDEMIC). I have been here before once and the service was OK outside of them having a conversation while we were having our couples massage and being hassled for a tip before we got the chance to get what we wanted. Bad and unlawful business practices are bad enough but a scamming people during a pandemic is disgusting and will make sure that I never return. At first, she stopped ten minutes after walking in my back to talk to me about adding another girl. I told her no at least 5 times and she wouldn't stop asking. Terrible time management, went for a full body massage and the she only did about 25% of my body. When I asked her, she tried to get me to buy more time. On their website it says $49.99 for an hour, I even called to be sure and the lady at the desk confirmed... but when it was time to pay she tried to charge me $60 and said that she didn't talk to me on the phone. I thought my experience was more on the Thai massage side and very soft to say the least. I felt once I told them the pressure I wanted the massage was better. I've had many a message and I have to say this was by far the best experience I've ever had! They are thorough, kind and communicative and really care about your experience and comfort level. My girlfriend and I had the couple's hot stone message and we walked away about to fall over from how relaxed we were. At the start of the massage they ask you if you'd like a "soft" or "hard" amount of pressure, and while it can be intense at first I think the "hard" amount of pressure is the way to go. I was asked multiple times throughout the massage if the pressure was okay, if I was all right, if certain areas hurt more than others. At one point my masseuse, Jay, noticed I had very cold feet (bad circulation, not their room temperature) so he doubled wrapped my feet! They even cleaned the oil off of us after the massage! GO HERE--and ask for Jay, he's amazing. read more

Didn't do the regular health questionnaire/ pain consultation. The man did not appear to be properly trained in massage techniques. He used too much or too little pressure and wayyyy too much oil. He kept leaving the room to help the lady that worked there and other unknown reasons. They also left the door open thoughout the massage so I could hear everything that was going on (including the massage going on next door with a very rude guy in there that kept yelling). My husband and I had a couple's message here from Groupon. When we came in the door it smelled like Chinese food to me. My husband smelled a strong onion scent. We figured the employees just had lunch. It was 1:45 pm when we came in. I was expecting to smell lavender or incense burning. Anyway, the man at the desk greeted us and led us to a dimly lit waiting area and had us sit in reclining chairs. He said we would come get us at 2pm. He didn't have us fill out any forms to make note of health status or massage preferences like other places we've been to. The man came to get us at 2:05 PM and led us to one of massage rooms. The room was small, clean, and had just enough space to move around the tables. There was soft instrumental music playing and the lights were dim. It didn't smell like anything. The walls are paper thin. We could hear people coming in and out of the establishment and someone hacking up their lungs up front. Of course, all of this drowned out the relaxing music. The massage itself was fair. They use a traditional Chinese technique, which I wasn't used to. The woman who did my massage jumped on the bed several times (scared me at first). One time her feet were by my head. I wasn't sure what was going on. My husband's masseuse said "Its ok. Chinese tradition," after noticing my nervousness. My massage therapist put her body weight on my back (thankfully she was a small person)and used her knuckles a lot. I liked the hands, feet, and head massage. The hot stones portion also felt nice. The two ladies spoke to each other throughout our session in a foreign language (imagine some nail shops). A man who worked there came in twice to discuss something with the two therapists (also speaking a foreign language). There was too much noise and interruptions. I didn't get the relaxing experience I wanted. My husband fell asleep, as usual, but he said he felt sore the next day. I felt like my shoulder muscles were still tense. When we were finished, the two ladies followed us to the front and asked us to tip please. That was new. We gave a tip and left. This place wasn't for me. I need more relaxation and no distractions. read more

This was the most uncomfortable massage I have ever received. The therapist did not use proper draping techniques and tried to touch areas that should not have been touched. When I asked him to focus on certain areas he got an attitude and rushed through the hot stone portion of my massage. By far the worse massage place I've ever been to. I requested a couples massage for me and my husband and they informed us that we will have a male and a female. I asked May I please have 2 females and they absolutely told me no. The couples massage only comes with a male and female. The bed sheets we had were dirty with make up stains, I requested for new sheets for me and my husband and they acted like it was a issue. The told me they could not wash the sheets and they could not come clean. I had to ask someone else to bring us clean sheets. However instead of having a 60 minute session, we asked if our time can be reduced to 30 minutes. And have the 1 female assist us. read more
