Telling a potential patient / customer that an office visit ranges from $30 - $60 dependent on frequency does NOT seem unreasonable. When someone refuses to tell me how much something costs - my fear is that they know the price is high and fear that telling me is going to 'scare me off.' I wish them the best in their practice, and that $21 deal is amazing - but I'm definitely not comfortable moving forward at this point - but will keep them in mind if things don't work out with other chiro I just spoke to. I did bump them up a star because I can appreciate the doctor's thoughtful response and that $21 first-timer's deal is GREAT - even spread across 3 appointments. ******************* Called the office to get basic pricing information. Veronica seemed friendly - but wouldn't answer any basic questions about office visit price. I understand that treatment plans vary based on the individual - but why waste your time if I'm not going to be able to afford even one office visit? Their website and Facebook page indicates - that for $21 you can come in for x-rays, an adjustment, consultation and a 60 minute massage. Let me clarify - for $21 you come in for your first appointment and they take x-rays and 'consult' with you. Then you come back for another visit for where they discuss your x-rays / film, you get your first adjustment and they schedule the aforementioned 60 minute massage. Then you come back for your massage. Also - INITIALLY - they also couldn't tell me if they use e-stim (TENS Units), spinal stabilizer tables (aka roller tables) or if they're a subluxation based practice. So I checked the website and called back and they actually put the doctor / chiropractor on the phone! I didn't know whether to be impressed or worried that the staff couldn't / wouldn't answer what I thought were basic questions. No matter how much I pressed, they would not tell me the price for office visits. They just kept repeating - like a mantra - that the price and treatment plans vary based on the individual. Look - I get it - I might need more chiropractic visits than my 11 year old nephew, but if I need to come 3 times a week, versus 1 time per week - shouldn't they be able to tell me what the office visit price is?! If it varies that dramatically so much that you can't reveal it / say it aloud - then honestly - it makes me leery / wary. read more

My first time here was last month.. First let me say the staff is super friendly and they seem genuine about getting you the best care for your health. If you think you are gonna make an appt and get an adjustment that day you are mistaken. They first will give you a consultation to let you know WHAT they are about, take x-rays, do balance test etc, so that you get the best treatment for your body. The next time you do a power session to learn WHY they do what they do. Then you get an adjustment. They are very thorough and proud of what they do. Today I went in for my adjustment and they showed me my x-rays and explained what was going on and what they were gonna work on for me that day, but explained it's a process, a fix will not happen in one treatment. I love coming here only tho I have been here only twice. Dr. Jet was my chiropractor, and he is a lot of fun, there is Dr. Sam as well and met him too, he's really nice as well. What I like about Dr. Jet (and the whole staff) is that they make you feel at home and call you family. Also Dr. Jet has a son born with a spine issue (don't know how to spell the issue and don't feel like Googling it.. Lol) but anyway he adjusts his son as well and thru his work and I'm sure Doc treatment his son is able to walk more without his walker. At this office they adjust all ages, b/c they believe it's best to get adjustments early on so that as you get older your body grows in the best way it possibly can. Once they explained their mission and wasn't about just cracking your back, it made me a lot more comfortable to get my adjustment. I highly highly recommend this place. I drive a ways to get here, but it is so well worth it. If you don't want to go to this one there another one in Dunwoody the chiropractor there is Dr. Samantha. I met her b/c the first day I went she was there, (they help each other out, and she use to work their and broke off to her own office), and she is super nice as well. At the end of the day you can't go wrong.. If you looking for a place to make you comfortable and looking for a treatment and not just a one time fix this is the place to go. There have been so many testimonials about the healing they have received from other issues with their body that have been decreased since getting adjustments here. Okay. So last week was my first week of treatment. I didn't go for pain treatment, it was more for the constant tension in my shoulders and sleep issues I'd been having. I had received treatment from chiros in the past, but I never was able to keep up with them. They were usually from a car accident or with an employer, but when I changed employers, the insurance changed and many chiros at that time only really dealt with insurance companies for billing. Everything else was nearly impossible for individuals to pay out of pocket. In my case, I am a self-employed consultant and didn't really have dedicated health insurance for a while until Obamacare, which at the time was fine because I traveled so much finding a plan that worked all over the US and overseas was a nightmare. I didn't really know where I would be traveling, plus no real issues that required regular doctor visits. So, for the few times I had to go or for checkups, I just paid out of pocket. Anyway, when I selected a chiro this time, I wanted to be sure that I could afford it out of pocket if my insurance provider didn't cover the treatment or had a high deductible. As I mentioned in my previous review, I purchased a Groupon to try this place out. However, before doing that, I checked out Yelp to get a sense of the place from other reviewers. One reviewer mentioned that they had been going to this place for years, how friendly the staff was, and that they were on an affordable monthly plan. I read a couple more reviews but this was a huge selling feature for me. So, I purchased the Groupon and off I went. Boy, am I glad I did. The monthly treatment cost is extremely affordable and they offer lots of payment options. My treatments are 3 times a week for the first month. I also love the fact that treatment is working so quickly. After a week, I can definitely tell the difference. So, my treatment came with a water pillow that I use nightly and a posture pump that I have to use on the days I'm not adjusted. I haven't had the massage yet, but if everything else I've experienced is any indication, I can't wait! I've even considered adjusting my Massage Envy membership. I've been adjusted by Dr. Julio and Dr. Sam once. Both are very good. They have a slight different technique to get the desired results, but I felt great after both adjustments. Another thing that it might be good to know is that this is NOT your run of the mill chiro place. The treatments are way more than just come in and get a few bones cracked and leave. When you come in, you get signed in. EVERYONE knows your name, not sure how they are doing that because they see a lot of people, but OK. :) Anyway, when you get in they have a refrigerator on the left with juice and a coffee bar for you. Then just behind that area, is the "warmup" area. You have to go and warm up before being adjusted. So, they have you sit on the edge of a chair on a texture ball and stretch your back and sides. Once you have "warmed up" then you proceed to the adjustment area (directly across from warmups) and the doctor exchanges more pleasantries and asks about how you've been feeling since your last adjustment and then you can tell him/her about any problem areas. You get the adjustment and then you're on your want to the posture area. It looks like exercise equipment, and you lie down on this bench with your head hanging over a padded bar. The doctor will tell you how many minutes to lie there and you use the timer in the basket. This is supposed to help your bones "remember" the adjustment and helps them to hold the adjusted position. This is similar to the posture pump machine that I use on the days that I am not adjusted. Anyway, once all of this is done, then you are ready for the rest of your day. They are very accommodating and flexible since as you can imagine, three times a week for the first week is a bit of an adjustment (pun intended). They are always able to accommodate my every-changing schedule and even watch my little one while I get seen by the doctor. So, all in all a wonderful place, calming atmosphere and all of the doctor's and front desk staff are pleasant and very nice. It's like if Starbucks had a Chiro practice. Lol. One thing to be aware of, I'm not certain how the doctors work here, but it seems that Dr. Sam is always there, but the others may "rotate." It's not an issue really, just an observation, because I've been primarily seen by Dr. Julio since the review of my xrays. He's usually there to see me, but once he wasn't and Dr. Sam did the adjustment. When I initially came to the practice to do the xrays, I met Dr. Britni but I haven't seen her since. Then on Friday, I noticed another female doctor doing adjustments. I'd never seen her before, but she was pleasant too. Again, not an issue, the treatment quality has been the same, just an observation. Each doctor seems to build rapport with the patient regardless of if they are their patient. Last night I could no longer walk. The pain was too much to bear. This was the closest one to my house. The moment I walked in I knew this was THE place. The two girls behind the desk have great handshakes and big smiles... I HATE the dead fish handshake and I just don't trust those type of people tbh. ‍. Anyway, they greeted me and helped me as they could tell I was in pain. I walked back to the x-ray room and she let me know that the next day I could come in and see the X-rays and discuss my treatment plan. I was disappointed that I would have to wait another day, but this is the norm with chiropractors. Then I met Dr. Sam!!! He too saw I was in pain and said come back after lunch we will discuss everything and do a treatment! I'm laying in bed with hope that I'll be walking soon. Dr. Sam is professional and friendly and works very hard to get you back to feeling 100% and then to keep you there! Going into the office you feel like you are visiting friends. I have been suffering from severe neck and back pain for several months and was very hesitant to get checked out because of affordability and not having chiropractic coverage with my insurance. We've had a great experience with this chiropractic office. Dr Sam and staff really take the time to educate us as patients about chiropractic - what it is, why it is important - which is such a differentiator amongst other offices for me. I can feel the difference beyond not having pack pain. Since being under care I have more energy and can sleep better. With 2 young children it's great that I have more energy to spend time with them and when I go to sleep I can truly rest.
