There's eight activities to do here including a haunted house, escape room, XD dark ride, mini golf, roller skating, and a bounce house - you could definitely spend a few hours here. If you're going to do at least two of the activities, consider doing one of the passes rather than paying individually. Place is clean and fairly large. The game room is full of various types of games from little kid games, to VR games, to ticket games. My daughter and I really enjoyed the VR pods while my son went for the ticket games. We were there during the day on a weekday so it wasn't crowded at all. The first activity we did was the mirror maze and it's not huge but they enjoyed it as part of the whole experience. We also did the 7D Theater and that was probably the most favorite activity. You strap into moving chairs and go on a ride to shoot zombies etc. next we headed over to laser tag and shot each other bunch. The same lady got us set up for each activity and was very nice. I hate arcades these days, they're all money grabs with impossible games and crap prizes.

There were so many places that they could have had people jump out or simply be. . .and they didnt. . It was still fun, but I wouldnt say that I thought it was scary in the slightest. The escape rooms were cool! I love doing them!! Before I write my review, I may be a bit biased as my family is BIG into escape rooms…read more Overall it is great for our small town and I was thrilled they added this to the city! The family who owns it is very nice and very hands on with making it a fun experience. Staff has always been super friendly and they have a wall where your polaroid is placed if you make it through! This is a smaller escape game facility with about 3-4 rooms, all hand-crafted to fit their theme. We have done all of their rooms each rotation, I just wish they rotated the rooms more and that the ones they did change, weren't so close to the same theme. For example, I love their White House one and they had a temple one too but there were 2 - 3 I did here that was escaping an apartment or along those lines. Also it should be noted that these are hand-crafted so they won't be as immersive as some bigger chains - which I didn't have an issue with. I like going here and try to whenever my family is in town. Just wish they had more rooms and more variety!

For the amount of money you pay, you should be getting way more. The place is old and run down…read more(from what it used to be) and the nickle and diming is unreal. We booked a two room suite with kitchen (due to dietary restrictions which Kalahari cannot accommodate). I had reached out to get a list of items provided in the kitchen to know what I would need to pack in order to prepare a dinner and breakfast for 6 people. The following are items in the unit versus what was supposed to be provided. - 4 steak knives, not 6 - 8 spoons, not 12 - 6 forks, not 12 - 11 knives, not 12 - No whisk (I was making a salad dressing, so I did need this and did not pack one) - 10 dinner plates, not 12 - 4 coffee mugs, not 6 - No kitchen towels (I had to use a bathing towel to place all of our washed dishes, and another for drying) - No dishwasher detergent (I planned to run it before we left, but there wasn't anything available). My guess is this is why dishes were so dirty. If guests cannot run the dishwasher, housekeeping probably has to do this in addition to their other chores. In addition, the one pot we used (I brought my own stock pot, large pan, and colander), the glass lid was disgusting, so we washed that. We also hand washed everything else we needed before using it since the cleanliness was lacking. I should have taken a pic, but we were hungry and I wanted to get dinner started. The dining table had a film on it, like it had not been properly cleaned in a while. Fortunately we packed Chlorox wipes and wiped down everything we planned on using. And the jets in the tub had noticable mold (pic of one, but all jets were dirty. And I didn't seek this out, it was visible while sitting on the toilet. I mentioned it to two other people and they had already noticed it as well). I know this may sound picky, but we didn't seek to find anything gross or look any further than obvious things we were using. So I imagine there was more dirtiness we didn't see. For the price per night, we expected to have all listed items and basic cleanliness. This will probably be our last trip to Kalahari as the quality has gone down, prices up, and so much nickle and diming.
