The overall salon was nice! But..I had a hard time communicating with my nail tech. I also hate that the workers spoke to each other quite a bit in their native language. My leg massage was not great but my toenails came out great! I had a dip done on my nails - first time for that! I was surprised that she nothing to my cuticles. Two weeks after my manicure my one thumbnail was hurting. I was able to trim the nail and remove the dip to find that my nail had split all the way across about a quarter inch in to the nail bed. I've never had anything like that happen before and can't say that the dip caused it. But I don't know what else could have. read more

When I went to this place first time I had no appointment. Had to wait a little and they told me Hana can take care of me. She is a super nice young girl who really knows what she needs to do and how to take care of her costumer. The place is nice and clean the other employees are friendly,too. I like Hana's style so she is the only one who can do a gale manicure with some lovely designs all the time. Also, if I show her a pic, I'll get the same design.no complain at all. read more

I walked in today, at opening, on Christmas Adam, aka Christmas Eve Eve, for a new full set and pedicure. This place was hopping. It still didn't stop every employee from making me feel welcomed, giving me undivided attention, and making me look fab for Christmas. Lucky did my nails and I got a spa deluxe pedicure. If you want to get your money's worth and not be rushed out because the more customers they see the more money they make, this is not the place to go. My girlfriend and I paid $45 each for a pedicure and neither one of us was pleased. Not a single one of my toenails look even but there are two that stand out with how slanted the guy cut and filed them. I did ask him to fix it, but he only made them worse. Then the part that I normally love the most which is the massage just felt like he was rubbing a thick layer on my legs with no pressure and it was awkward to say the least. The only thing I was semi-happy with was my nail color choice and his painting job. There are other salons in the area, try those first if you want a more enjoyable experience. read more

My water was chilly my daughter's water scolding hot, they never asked to adjust. Equipment / tools were FILTHY and being reused between customers, to include gloves. The stone they used to buff the toenails was originally orange but was covered in grey scum. Absolutely disgusting. Quickly cut the toenails, slapped some lotion on, no leg massage and walked away. My daughters nail tech brought the wrong color 3 times. They were "out of 2 colors." One tech was talking on the cell phone the entire appointment , the other tech made multiple inappropriate jokes about "mumma money." We will never return and don't recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing or clean service. read more

Very unhappy. I asked for a simple French tip with glitter (I posted my inspiration photo). I got an uneven, gloopy mess. The white covers over half of my nail bed. The glitter polish isn't even close to even. I wanted to like this place but I can recommend it. Plus the tech "lucky" kept filing my nail beds so closely. I kept telling him it hurt and he kept doing it. I'm sorry they need better techs with more experience. If you look closely at my middle fingertip you can see the glob of overcoat he didn't file too. The filthy technician brought out used tools, I did not realize until later seeing that EVERY other technician came out from the back with sealed tools that were sanitized. this was my first time at this salon and i enjoyed my overall experience. the reason it gets 3 stars is because for my pedicure no sheet was ever given to me for choices, i just got polish and lotion, which was disappointed because i was planning to opt for the fancy pedicure. the other thing is my nails themselves look great but the artist messed up my cuticles, and i was even bleeding on one. both of the men doing my nails didn't wear gloves either which was slightly concerning, especially the pedicure. but they appeared to be clean so i didn't say anything. my nails also look slightly grown out, but it doesn't bother me too much, just thought i'd mention it. but on the postive side: the services were well priced, the staff was kind, and the service was quick, so i may be back! read more

I felt a bit of up selling for myself but Kim (I think) did a good job even tho I stuck to a basic service. Mani was good not exceptional but I will be back. First time there. Went in for a gel mani and pedi. I checked in. I waited for 30 min and people that came in after me were helped. No one talked to me. So I finally said something and they sat me at one of the pedicure chairs. Sat another hour and a half. No one said anything to me and they kept helping people that sat down after me. And two Caucasian women who came in after me were serviced faster and finished before me. We were at the Escape Nail & Spa in West Villages Marketplace. Hannah was to do a 1 hour facial for my mom, a I had a pedicure. They started on my Pedicure and then 15 minutes later Hannah took my mom for a facial. I looked at the time, and my mom came out within 33 minutes. I was still having my pedicure. Hannah was rude when I said you did half hour facial on my mom. She then started yelling at the cashier station. They would not change the fee. My granddaughter, daughter and I went to the Escape at Cocoplum on a Sunday. We had an appointment and two techs started working on us right away. My granddaughter had a mani/pedi. "Kathy" spent 5 minutes on her--$15.00. I had a gel and pedi. "Kathy" spent an appropriate amount of time on me. My daughter had her nails dipped and a pedi. By evening my granddaughter's nails and toes were all chipped. Okay--she is 9 y.o. so I bought her new polish on Amazon. My daughter mentioned that her nails felt spongy. Indeed they did. She said her male tech watched a hockey game on his phone the entire time. My daughter went back in Monday morning. The people that worked there said that the drying sight sometimes doesn't heat well. A tech put a final coat on her nails and used the drying light again. Her nails were finally hard but looked like they had faded. My take on this is that the male tech never put a final coat on. And if your heating lights aren't working properly, buy new lights. My nails chipped after 5 days. Normally I can go 3 weeks before my nails start to chip. Ironically, my pinky finger was the first to chip. Within a 7 days they were all chipping. I had done nothing out of the ordinary to cause it. I have no idea how much my daughter paid for all of these disasters--plus a tip. I would guess the bill was $200.00. My daughter called today from Indiana and said she already needed a mani/pedi. She said she will get a dip and see how it compares to the dip in Florida as the Florida dip was her first. If I could give this place zero stars I would. A complete waste of time and money. read more
