To be honest, the lounge feels more like a diner than a lounge. It's poorly lit, ceilings are low, booths leave much to be desired and the windows face the shuttle/rail tracks whereas lounges usually face arriving and departing planes. However, given that there are 2 lounges in the airport at all and this one takes Priority Pass, I can't complain too much. The lounge takes reservations, which is nice for guaranteeing you won't have to wait if you come when it's full. That said, it's frustrating to see tables reserved at 11am not be available for patrons in the lounge at 6am. Food wise, nothing looks fancy but they have everything. At breakfast, there was a cereal corner, pastry corner, warm food corner (British breakfast staples only), fresh fruit corner, 2 coffee machines that made all the coffees and hot chocolates, some juice jars and a pretty stocked bar. If they worked on their ambiance, it could easily be a 4 star place but maybe the intention was to have a super down to earth place? The staff are pretty nice too, biggest hiccup was just feeling like I was at a Denny's when that's not what I bargained for. I unfortunately can't in good faith recommend anyone to pay cash to go there if they are looking for a proper lounge experience. BUT if you're in the airport and have a service that gives you access to lounges, go there - you'll get your "free" food, unlimited drinks and somewhere a little warmer than the rest of the airport to chill. I will certainly come again if I use this airport again, it gets the job done. read more
