They damaged my vehicle and although they covered the cost of repairs, they were clealry trying to avoid it any way they could. The actual manager didn't know how to process the refund and had to have the owner come to the shop in person to help him. In short, they overcharged me for tires I didn't need and damaged my wheels in the process of installing them. They were very quick to take my money but seemed very dumbfounded when it came to giving it back. Will never use their services again in the future, and I'd encourage others to stay away unless you enjoy having your property damaged and turning what should be a simple process into a prolonged headache.

Let me set the scene...Christmas Eve 2025 after dark, as my lovely husband is driving home down…read moreI78, he so graciously found a large portion of someone's tailpipe they unfortunately left behind in the middle of the highway. Well, in a blaze of glorious sparks, he had to pull off to the side of the highway (which is a feat in itself let's be honest). As he gets out of the car to try and see what the actual F is going on he realizes that the vehicle has sprung a leak but unsure as to where it was actually coming from. After a little bit of fenagling he was able to unjam the offending object from under the car to see that it was up close and personal with the transmission and we now have a rather large issue. Luckily, he was able to limp the car to the next exit/gas station and able park it out of the way, but things were only getting worse. Now comes the realization it is after hours on a big holiday eve... and we also forgot to reup on our AAA subscription (my bad I will be getting on that asap). However, after a few phone calls and some google searches, we came across the listing on Yelp for Kaufman Towing with the holy grail of labeling of "open 24hrs". Within 30 minutes of finding the phone number and making the call we have the car parked in our driveway to wait another day to deal with it and the insurance. They were wonderful people, and the wait was microscopic compared to most as well as the price. They saved our butts and will definitely be saving their number on speed dial because with my husband's luck... we very well might be a repeat customer if not the best. Thank you, Kaufman's Towing!

She blatantly calls 3 AAA professionals liars and has no qualms about it. She thinks she knows it all and her sole goal is to extort payments out of you despite a valid AAA membership. Her demeanor is no different than a street thug threatening you to hand over your wallet. On topic it, she calls you "hun" as a self-proclaimed sign of respect. I doubt that she even know what that word means or even how to spell it. I am launching several official complaints with AAA corporate, the PA Turnpike Authority, and will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. She is a personification of what gives the towing industry a bad name. Give her a baseball bat and she would probably gladly bust the kneecaps of their customers. Low as low and unprofessional as unprofessional can be. I guess me using that term unprofessional describing her would mean that she even knows what professionalism is. And I can guarantee you, she DOES NOT... It is an absolute shame that they have a phenomenal tow truck operator like James (professional, courteous, friendly, hard working) and the drag the bottom of the barrel by hiring someone as low of a caliber as Michele. What a shame. That shows that company ownership does NOT CARE about customers like YOU and ME.
