The prototypical Aussie Pub. It's in the a tiny little town, but it's full of charm, and the people were hilarious and friendly. We didn't have anything to eat, but there is a restaurant area in the back I think. We were just in for a few schooners and a chance to win a giant tray of fresh local meats! Friday night is the meat raffle!! I've been to these back in the US in the country, so I knew what it was. My wife was a little confused, but we bought about $20 worth of tickets, and managed to win! so we left with a tray of about 6 sirloin steaks, and 4 rump roasts and 4 sausages, so we more than made up for our money.
Anyway, this place is full of atmosphere and well worth dropping in if you're close and want to experience a real Aussie pub with the locals. read more
