Heather is our "angel", she has been helping with our Mother who has Alzheimer's. Mother is very happy to have her come in, the house is clean and organized. She takes her to eat and to the store on occasion. If you live in this area, truly need some one that is dependable, caring and affordable, you really need to call Heather give her an opportunity to be your angel too. read more

As a busy career mom, I knew how hard it was to juggle a career, children, and the many tasks that come along with both. This company was designed with the hopes of making your life easier!

My name is Heather, and I am the owner of Errands With Ease. I began this company as a way to help the community & it has proven to be more of a blessing than I could have ever imagined. With God at the core of my life, I feel that He has led me to help others in any way I can. I offer my time and resources to those in this community to hopefully help make their lives easier, less stressful, and to allow them more time to focus on the things most important to them.

I contacted Uptown Errands and was pleased when the owner responded to my email quickly to inform me that she was able to pick up what I needed and bring them to my place of work promptly. Along the way she kept me up to date on the eta and upon arrival she took the time to find parking (not an easy task at my place of work) so that she could meet me on the ninth floor where my "office" is located. Other similar services would have expected me to get away from work and meet them on the first floor lobby, which Is difficult, if not impossible, for me to do. It's difficult to find someone that is as willing to go out of their way as this company, in order to be truly helpful. I truly feel like this was money well spent and I highly recommend using Uptown Errands to assist with any errands.

I found Caroline here on Yelp when I was looking for someone to help my goof friend's mother who had cancer. I got in touch with Caroline to reach out to her to see if she wanted errands run or food prepared while she was undergoing chemo and lacked energy. I paid Caroline $150 and also contacted her about helping another friend who had a hysterectomy surgery. Unfortunately Caroline disappeared with my money, I never heard back and never contacted my friend's mother. I tried to file a claim with Paypal but apparently she didn't respond to that.

Would never use her for pet sitting…read more Had to come home from planned vacation weekend due to her inability to take care of 2 pups. This one excerpt from a text exchange sums it up."I'm doing my best, I spent 2 hours here, any other pet sitter would have left them." Not a great comfort level when you are a few hours away. Had to come home the next morning. If you are looking for experienced dogsitter and you have hyper young pups, I would think twice before using this service. Some examples of a few incidents that made our decision to come home: At the meet and greet, I asked her to be honest if she felt she could handle the job. Her words, she assured me this would be no problem while dogs were barking at her. Did not follow any instructions left and found them in garbage with empty jar of peanut butter and cheese peanut butter cracker wrappers. She could not get dogs in cage after I gave several suggestions Left my sliding door open the entire time Poop all over yard not picked up with pooper scooper. Did not play outback with dogs and no pictures provided. Her exact correspondence with each visit: Visit 1: Dogs ate/drank/ pottied and are in crates. Assured me dogs were both in cage to find on my camera one of my pups were roaming around. Without my consent, gave peanut butter and cheese peanut butter crackers to try and get them in cage, and that's all they ATE, plus all of training treats. Provided calming pills to give and it was ignored. My pups both had bad diarrhea when we got home, my one pup especially has sensitive stomach, this occurred due to not eating regular scheduled food. Informed her to leave my key and not to do any more visits we were coming home. I looked on my camera and saw she was in my house, says she did not see text and I owe her for visit as she was already there. I should of went on my dogs instincts at time of meet and greet. NEVER AGAIN.

Even after I reminded him twice that my scheduled court date was the following week + he had the ticket citation in his hands! When I questioned him on this, he was extremely rude and hateful. To make matters worse, he tried to over charge his services by +250% by assuming the case would require a trial (It did not require a trial) I fired him and hired a young attorney from Charlotte for $400. This lawyer from Charlotte negotiated a dismissal from the DA and that was the end of that matter. Martin is rude, arrogant and unfriendly. @Martin, you should have stuck with your engineering degree because being a lowly lawyer is not for you!
