We have two hours here, to have lunch and shop and I was hungry. When we went in to order our food, many train customers were already lining up to order. I just found seats in a shady spot, outside, and decided to take that. The service was quicker than expected, knowing how crowded they were. Hubby's Chili Cheese Dog was really good and I got extra mustard on my hamburger. They were the best we've had in a long long time! Negative: Since the restrooms were shared by the ice cream shop, there's a line. One lady, who was twice bigger than me, was having problem getting dressed, because the stalls were as big as being inside a Honey Bucket, if you know what I mean? She was apologizing to us, how difficult it was to . . . they need to do some remodeling here. That's all I can say!

We love the mining decor inside the place as you walk down the stairs into the Cafe. We both ordered the Yankee girl breakfast, one with bacon and one with sausage and both with pancakes. Our food came out nice and hot in about 15 minutes. The sausage doesn't look like much but it's quite delicious and we actually preferred it over the bacon. The pancakes were good (a little dry) and we would've loved to have real maple syrup instead of pancake syrup. The eggs were nicely cooked and we loved the country potatoes. The coffee was very nice, a medium roast that's a little on the dark side. We would get it again though they do have options for latte and mocha. Everyone was very nice, especially Samantha, our server, and we would come back here again

Although there was a group of 12 ahead of us, our wait was just 10 mins as they were pretty good about crowd management. The inside decor is super cool with taxidermy animals everywhere. We saw bobcat, mountain lion, mountain sheep, and all kinds of animals that you would expect to live in Colorado. There were super funny signs everywhere (my favorite was the oats one). The disappointment was the food portion size. I ordered a reuben sandwich for $19 which came with a very skinny portion of meat between two small pieces of toast. We barely got maybe 10 fries with it. For $19 I expected the portion size to be a little bigger. Their draft beer were on the smaller size at 12 oz instead of the standard 16oz. Come here to checkout the cool wall decorations and maybe get a drink but skip the food. If a real cowboy walked into this saloon, he would be pretty angry by the portion size and probably start a bar fight!
