Ernie's, you suck. I don't give many one-star reviews, but I feel this is warranted. Read on, and I will explain why. This is a comfort stop for Motorcoaches such as Greyhound, Trailways, etc. I was one of those people. I wanted to get something to drink, and a little snackie-poo for the road. I get up to the cashier, and they say, "NO EBT!" Wait, what, no EBT?? Are you kidding me??? All I have is EBT. I'm sure there are a TON of people who only have EBT as their method of payment. I felt discriminated against, because I am positive I am not the only person to have EBT as their only payment method. I mean, really?? There's nothing like having to take the walk of shame to put your stuff back. I feel it's important to use this platform as a means of change. Please, make EBT a payment method. Maybe Ernie doesn't care what their poor patrons have to say, but it sure feels like it. There are some great things I can say about this place, but until they make it so everyone can pay, then the stars stay as-is. To clarify, this was my second visit to Ernie's, and they didn't have EBT as a method of payment. I thought maybe it was a one-off, but when I came back and the no EBT sign was still up, I thought, "maybe this is how they do things." Ernie's, you need to make this right. Terrible Place. I am a Trucker. Stopped here, wanted to do my laundry. I wanted to watch TV, while I did my Laundry. They refuses to let me watch TV. They said that the owner said that the Truckers had abused their TV Privileges. I offered to leave my ID, while I used the remote to turn on the TV. They refuses. I offered to leave them my ID, and Money, until I brought the remote back. This is an Awful Place. Avoid this place, at all costs. read more

I use to shower here at this truck stop for nearly 3-4 years straight when we were getting our well fixed and this was about 5-6 years ago; I've been here to shower twice in the last 2 weeks and since the last time years ago that I showered they no longer have floor mats for in front of the shower, no matter how many people shower you only get one towel one wash cloth (my bf and I shower together) you have to pay 1$ more for just a single towel, and on top of it there was dirty toilet paper on the floor and the inside of the toilet bowl had sh*t on it. I get it honestly I do it's a truck stop it's not meant to be a comfortable shower but for 10$ plus paying for your towels they could at least have reasonable accommodations. Use to be my favorite place to shower away from home but this is not that place anymore and some of the staff are absolutely rude and make you feel uncomfortable for asking for simple things that they use to have, don't know why they no longer do. read more

I drive truck and I stopped here for the night. It was quiet, pretty clean for a dirt lot. I parked in the back. I went inside for smokes and the card reader had some issues, but the weather was bad. It did work out. I've read some of the reviews about this place. They say its run down. It's not what they expected. They don't take a certain type of payment. For one, they are their own place. They pick and choose what they want to deal with payment wise. Also, it's a truck stop. It is not a fancy modern "travel center". It is an older place. That's what makes it cool. Truck parking. simple groceries if needed. Fuel. Basic amenities. That's a stop! I'll bring my business here anytime. read more

My car broke down in Moses Lake the day before thanksgiving and I had to take a greyhound the rest of the way where I was going. The greyhound was 4 hours late and I was stuck at the station the entire time. The three ladies working talked to me while I was there and gave me recommendations for auto shops, hotels, and food places. They made a difficult time much less difficult and I'm grateful for that. read more

Plenty of parking. There are signs indicating a four hour limit and apparently they'd like you to pay for 24hr parking but there is zero enforcement of this probable policy. I never left my truck and was left unmolested for my whole 10hr break. Having only seen the facility from the outside I can't give a comprehensive review but it appears to be a sad little store. The massive parking area is the highlight of this stop and you're only two minutes from downtown Moses Lake. read more

I travel I-90 from Spokane to Seattle area a couple times a month. I usually stop here to get gas and food on my way through. This trip after getting fuel, I was chased around the parking lot by one of their bitchy employees (older cracky blond lady) screaming at me for parking in a certain spot, that says no parking but I wasn't parking, I just stopped for a couple of minutes to check my phone. She then kicked me off of the property for not complying quickly enough. She then chased me on foot over to the Sheri's restaurant parking lot saying that Ernie owned that place too, and that she was taking it upon herself to kick me off the entire property. I told her to go ahead and call the police, so I waited. They never showed up. I get ready to go on my way, and this crazy lady gets in her own car and chases me down the street, onto the freeway flipping me off the entire way to the next exit. So I guess I won't t be going back there anytime soon. I'd like direct contact from the owner as soon as possible. This employees behavior was way over the top and uncalled for! read more

Have a large parking lot for trucks which is nice but cashier inside was rude and seemed to hate his job. Also when I was in line it was about 4 people deep and another cashier opened up a register for her friends and didn't bother asking who was next. The food is all deep fried or pre-packaged and prices are a little high. Typical truck stop overall. read more

Thank God for yelp. Finally a way for customers to fight back against extremely rude sales people. I won't go into details now but see the other reviews on this station and understand that I agree fully with them and are adding to that. The last thing the customer service lady screamed at me as I left was, "you're not worth it, you're not worth it." Ernie's truck stop (Conoco) I don't need to take this from you. I hope a lot of people read this review. In closing I took my money to the neighboring gas station and told the story about what happened. The clerk there was very nice and said "we hear that a lot about them." My final advice. Stay away. Your dollars are better spent else where. read more
