During the time I would come to see this doctor he was rarely paying attention when he saw me - more occupied by taking notes on the iPad, rather than truly engage me in conversation and hands-on testing. The last straw was when I wen to the office, and waited 70 minutes in the waiting room. I left FUMING, not only because I waited so long, but also because the time before that I waited 45 minutes in the waiting room and another 30 in the interior room. After I left for the last time, I sent an invoice to the office for my time the next day as a good F You for wasting my time. I found a new doctor, and started receiving the requested vaccine ON MY FIRST VISIT. This man has no passion, no patience, nor the care to be taking care of patients. And the staff is unfortunately not knowledgeable. They are slow, inefficient and don't know how to answer questions. I am positive that this office is only still open because of the older folk in the area who continue to frequent the facility due to nothing more than the advantageous proximity to their own domicile. AVOID THIS OFFICE AT ALL COSTS.

At the beginning of the year she moved to this practice with new name Alliance Health Macomb. Her family medicine practice is with another physician in Suite 300 inside the Shelby Medical Mall. The staff here with check-in (Peggy) and check-out are very pleasant and efficient at their jobs. The lobby is very large and welcoming with wellness and sick areas to sit while waiting for my appointment. I have seen Dr. Kristen Kavanaugh every September (My Birthday Month) for a wellness check up and also in between if and when I am sick. Back on March 10th I consulted with her on the phone with a video chat about my decline in health while working at my job. She listened with great concern and attentiveness to my symptoms, then gave me some advice till my appointment at the end of March plus an inflammation medication for 4 months. Her Education and Knowledge makes Me very comfortable when she listens and communicates to Me in a timely manner, not rushed with my appointment. We discuss my health issues and treatments or suggestions within strict confidence. She demonstrates Comprehensive Care in a Personal Way! So I was having day and night pain in hands, legs, low back and neck for about two months from February to March while working a housekeeping job. During my 1st appointment on March 24th she examined my swollen hands and legs. She referred Me to visit the Henry Ford Medical Center on Hall Rd to have Ex-rays of back, legs and hands plus bloodwork to determine my diagnosis which was true as she thought. She even followed up with Me after my tests by phone and messaging Me in My Chart online before my follow up appointment on April 17. I am pleased that Dr. Kavanagh along with my other three medical doctors are affiliated with Henry Ford Health plus use this App to connect with patients and myself called "My Chart!" When I receive an email from Henry Ford Health, I can connect in My Chart to receive a message from her, make appointments, view test results, message her back, get refills on prescriptions, and also Henry Ford Billing is connected in it as well. It is an Awesome health feature for Me as a patient. No more phone calls or waiting on hold or please leave a message.... Dr. Kavanagh specializes in Family Medicine and Services Primary Care. Her residence is at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital. She is very understanding, personable with compassionate. It's not an aberration I don't go to the doctors very often but this has been years of experiences. Also, getting prescriptions filled and renewed can be very hit or miss. My wife and I work very hard to support and take care of our three daughters. One of our daughters is on a ventilator, has a trach and has a nurse here for ten hours every day. We also have a severely autistic twenty year old daughter who is currently being hospitalized for aggressive behaviors. In autistic people, their behaviors are their words.When they can't physically tell you how they're doing they act out. I called my daughter's primary care doctor in concern for her yesterday while she was in the hospital and in soft constraints and was extremely upset. After all that the doctor finally looked at her file from the hospital and called me today and said she was unsafe for us and the staff and because of my concern for my daughter and solely based on that one conversation I had with the doctor yesterday , and after apologizing he kicked the whole family out of their business ! Right now I'm speaking for my daughter. I am her words ..what i'm going to say to you dr. G.. You said I should watch my words before I say them, and I'll say to you. These words are our daughters unspoken words. And what you must learn from this as that autistic people talk to you THROUGH their behaviors.
