This doctor is completely incompetent. The…read morenurses/receptionists are the WORST, they speak about patients at the front desk, ABOUT their medical records. They antagonize every patient when they are not within ear shot. I overheard the receptionist saying, "Get off your phone, get off your phone...." while a patient was respectfully standing AWAY from the window, finishing his phone call. She had plenty of time to wait and the waiting room was nearly void of patients at the time. Doctor THOMAS BARRIGER called me by the wrong name and simply shrugged and said, "Well close enough!" And he NEVER listens. He sits at his computer and stares at the screen. When my blood pressure was too low, and ai complained of headaches, he told me, "Well I get headaches every day..." When I called for test results, they hung up on me not once, but twice! On more than one occasion! Do yourself a favor and find a doctor and staff/nurses that won't talk about your medical records loud enough for the entire office to hear! A doctor who knows your name and an office that doesn't run like a circus! I posted this SAME review under the doctors name as well.... find anyone, but this office!

She is very competent and knowledgeable at what she does and quickly focuses on problems, diagnosis, and treatments. And while she is dealing with all of the normal doctor stuff during your appointment, she is friendly, and understanding throughout. In addition to all of that, she somehow manages to stay on schedule which may be important if you live and work on a tight schedule like we do. I, like many people, had just gotten used to the idea that doctor appointments always run late, until now. So if you are counting on finishing that novel you've been working on while waiting to go in to your appointment, Dr. Hendrick may not be the right doctor for you. So if you count on catching up on your reading while waiting at your doctor's appointment, stay the course. But if you prefer to have a more predictable schedule while getting the best quality care, I can highly recommend Dr. Hendrick.

Dr Hendrick is extremely knowledgeable in her profession & i would definitely recommend her to my friends & family.

Review for Dr. Farrah F. Ahmad, MD…read more I had an appointment with Dr. Farrah F. Ahmad at 11:45 AM on 7/22. During the visit, the doctor was respectful and helpful. She refilled my medication and ordered full blood work. However, my experience with the office staff was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. On 7/22, I was told the office was out of blood test kits and instructed to return the next day for a walk-in. When I returned at 11:00 AM on 7/23, the outer door was open, but the second glass door was locked. I saw someone inside playing loud music and talking on the phone. When I knocked, a staff member came to the door and said no one was in the office, so I couldn't complete my blood work--despite being told to come back. She said they would fax the lab order to Corewell Hospital so I could get the blood work done there. After waiting seven days, Corewell still had not received any order. I even checked my chart and confirmed nothing had been sent. When I called Dr. Ahmad's office, the staff insisted it was sent, but I knew they were lying. I could even hear them laughing in the background while speaking with me, which was very disrespectful and unprofessional. When I met Dr. Ahmad on 7/22, I had already raised concerns about the staff's rude behavior and showed her evidence. She apologized and assured me that it would be addressed--but unfortunately, nothing has changed. I feel mentally exhausted and disrespected by this ongoing pattern of carelessness, dishonesty, and poor service. The staff continues to behave irresponsibly, and I've now made the decision to change my primary care provider. I do not recommend this practice. * Staff is consistently rude, dishonest, and unprofessional * Long wait times even with scheduled appointments (sometimes up to 3 hours) * Often, you don't even see the doctor--only a physician assistant * If you question anything, the staff responds rudely and dismissively This feels more like a business than a place for genuine patient care. Extremely disappointing experience.

I was told to sit down and they would call my name shortly. around 11:45 I still had not been seen or given any paperwork to fill out. I went up to the desk to get an ETA and immediately the front desk woman(I believe her name is Kelly) started getting worked up and giving me an attitude saying how Dr. Saini was still at the hospital and they could not control the wait. I was pretty confused about why they booked my appointment for a time when the Dr. was not even in the office. I asked another girl who was working at the desk why I was booked for a time that the doctor wasn't even in the office. Then Kelly kept jumping in and giving her input- which was just uncomfortable because I wasn't even talking to her and she was very obviously annoyed and being defensive for no reason. At this point, they told me that they had two people ahead of me once she got there and that they could either get me in before them or reschedule me. I asked, "Which hospital is she coming from, that might determine if I can stay". Kelly jumps in YET AGAIN and says "WE CAN'T PREDICT TRAFFIC." Okay, Kelly take a chill pill and listen- I didn't ask how long, I asked WHERE she is coming from. I booked an appointment for the following week. As I was leaving I told Kelly that she should work on her communication skills because I didn't appreciate how rude she was to me. I did not raise my voice or speak rudely to these women- I was simply direct and expected answers. 3 hours later they called and said they canceled my appointment and I should find a new primary care doctor. And honestly, I agree, I should because I don't have time for such unprofessional staff. Clearly I hurt her feelings for her to go and cancel my appointment but she should consider having professionalism instead of being so quick to speak disrespectfully to people who are just seeking to get answers. Had she taken time to just listen to my concerns we would have been fine.

I was a little frustrated when I was informed that the soonest I could get an appointment as a new patient was 7 weeks but after calling 11 different doctors offices and. Wing informed no one was taking new patients, 7 weeks didn't sound that bad. Luckily for me I didn't have anything urgent that required immediate attention. My previous doctors office was a complete shitshow. The staff were rude, barely competent and hated their jobs. The first thing I noticed about Troy Internal Medicine was how friendly everyone was. From the person I spoke to on the phone, the front desk receptionist, the nurse and most importantly the doctor, everyone was kind and, patient and treated me with respect. I saw Dr. Rocco now on two occasions and she is a pleasure. She does not rush you, she listens to you, gets to know you and makes you feel comfortable. I immediately knew she would become my PCP and had to look new further. I really enjoy that they offer most services right in office so I don't need to go elsewhere for things like blood work.

The app doesn't work. They "don't process refill requests from pharmacies". You can't request refills online because of the broken app and the front desk doesn't care about patients, the receptionists are rude, dismissive and accusatory. I had a physical in March. I assumed that my doctor just refilled all my meds then but she didn't. I needed one today so I called to get that handled because Troy Internal Medicine wasn't responding to the pharmacy. After a 20 minute wait a receptionist finally answered and was completely disinterested in anything I had to say. She was rude and dismissive, for no reason. She also didn't pay attention to what I was saying and got the name of the medication wrong. ( I found this out hours later ) A couple of hours go by and I call the pharmacy, Troy Internal Medicine called in every medication OTHER THAN THE ONE I NEED. I called the doctor's office back ( another long wait ), got a different receptionist and she informed me that the medication I needed came up on something called MAPS as being filled in March. I told her that it was last filled in January, read it from my bottle and she all but accused me of drug seeking. I was totally confused because the medication I needed isn't even a controlled substance in any sort of MAPS sense and I've been taking it for decades. she assured me that she would discuss it with my doctor. I call the pharmacy, they confirm that I didn't have it filled in March and ask the doctors office to call them, I call the doctors office and after another 20 minute wait I ask them to call the pharmacy. I wait another hour and call the pharmacy, of course they never received a call from Troy IM. This time the pharmacist answered and he said "they are confusing the medications, they think you are asking for drug A, which was refilled in March, ( and I've taken 2 of ) not drug B which was last refilled in January and isn't a MAPS drug so they flagged you as drug seeking for the wrong medication. FLAGGED ME AS DRUG SEEEKING???? what??? All because ONE receptionist didn't want to bother listening to what I was saying. She shouldn't be working with people and she definitely shouldn't be working with patients at a doctor's office. Bottom line: avoid this doctor's office. the ratings are in the toilet for a reason.
