I have worked with over 1200 primary care doctors over the years and I must say Maura is the most impressive human being that also happens to be a doctor I have ever met. I am not the most religious person although I consider myself a main of faith and I would describe her as someone that serves the patient, God and then the healthcare system. No doctor would dare spend the amount of time she spends with a patient because they quite frankly want to make more money. The average doctor I worked with saw 30-65 patients a day. She sees 8-12! When other doctors are treating what you came in for Dr Bagos is looking at every detail to make sure there are not any underlying issues. If you want to go some place cheap where they write you pills and be on your way this is not the place. If you want to be cared for by a doctor that really cares about you then see Maura. As for the one review of a person saying that her husband is not qualified, and having worked in healthcare myself you would be shocked at the qualifications of people you work with. I was doing blood drives for the American Red Cross handling blood and poking patients with almost no formal training. What matters is the person that cares for you really cares for you. My wife loves Dr Bagos so much that even when we moved 2.5 hours away at end of year we agreed it is in her best health and interest to drive to see her for her annual physicals. The one true thing I will say is that plan to spend half your day at office between wait time and the actual appointment. You should not expect anything less from someone who wants to know your entire health history, not jump to conclusions and a diagnosis after 5 words leave your mouth. read more
